  1. OH wow! Is that for Fight For This Love?
  2. I was thinking about this and how Cheryl releases could work. I would like "Rain On Me" to be single #4 and come out in late May, "Stand Up" as #5 and out in late July then re-release the album with a new single in late September. I think Cheryl's at the point now where she doesn't really have to promote the singles, just rely on TV and Radio rotation. The only thing is the releases could be squashed up to fit in Girls Aloud album which i guess would come in October/November. Unless Cheryl releases in between GA releases - but i have a feeling thats what Nadine could do
  3. Parachute is now on a total of: 61,023

Everyone keeps going on about that - but i can only see a maxium of 500 fans doing that meaning 2000 sales, nothing really compared to how much was sold. Does anyone really believe that 200,000 JLS fans would do that? Like really?
  5. Part of the problem with Leona's campaign is what the hell is the next single? Happy was single #1 thats obvious, but when you've got her performing Stop Crying on X Factor, I See You promoted for Advatar - and having a video - i fully expected that to be the 2nd single (I'm only a casual Leona fan) and then having a song with a very similar title to actually be the 2nd single and yet i haven't caught the video yet and heared it only a couple of times on radio. - I didn't know anything about I Got You until last week
  6. I never get when people say "Surely everyone has it by now". Its sold 800K and there's 65 million people living in the UK. If we can have songs selling 1 million, 2 million etc then surely not everyone has it

With Diederick Santer leaving as well tonight, this all feels abit sad and Doctor Who New Years Day. It all feels end of an era not only Bradley leaving but the end of Bradley-Stacey, which again makes this story all the more tragic. I felt this alot when they did Charlie's best bits from the show - from beginning to end

I think it makes sense that Stacey did it now on a re-think, it makes the death of Bradley even more sad - probably why they kept that bit quiet as well. Stacey doesn't need to go down for murder - she's just had her punishment. It almost works as a Greek/Shakespearean tragedy. - Add to it, its their wedding night as well. Who knows, maybe Stacey told Bradley the truth - he did yell for Stacey to run afterall. The live episode worked out pretty well, all things considered and I'm surprised and shocked they did quite a risky and dangerous roof-top scene, all things considered. Apart from wobbly camera angles, the only thing that let it down for me was Jack Branning - who mucked up alot of lines - and came out of character at the beginning. But, it was live so i do appreciate neveres were aplenty I'm just gutted for Lacey because it was her night (as well as Bradley's) and she deservered an interview. She is such a superb and real actress - watching tonight, i would hope she will have a very successful career pot Eastenders on stage and screen
  9. I guess thats Itunes and not the real chart?
  10. Found this: http://www.angelstages.com/castings/3122?u...gn=185009-feb19
  11. 20th Feb is my birthday YAH! Back to discussion - with Dizzee and Florence and Haiti - 2 unexpected singles 6 weeks ago - plus any Glee singles linguering on - next week really will be tense.
  12. There's like 14 versions of Fight For This Love just on itunes so her sales are probably being evened out through them
  13. Can't Get Blue Monday Out of My Head - wish it could have been released as a proper single

Does it really though? Lets face it, once the song is out to download, then its there forever more, and I guess a set price to have it there. Whereas with a cd, you have to pay for printing, plastic, the cd and shipping. Single sales have nearly trippled since 2000 and the drop in album sales wasn't as much as what i thought it would be. I'm probably clutching at straws though

Album sales aren't that bad in comparisent from 2000/2009. I thought it would have been alot lower. But singles have gone through the roof! Surely record companies are making more money now, despite album sales declining a little. And thanks for doing a compare - I said in the sales thread that I thought album sales were up on last year and I guess i was right! YAH! It is nice to see growth for a change and although its only by a small margin, it's a step in the right direction

Its stating one of the NOT the biggest. It'll certainly be up there so its correct. To be honest, i feel thats a bit underwhemling - i was kinda thinking it might do 300,000 by this point

  25. Wasn't he asked by the Prime Minister Gordan Brown and The Sun newspaper to do it? And our PM has said the cd won't have tax on it so we know it will be less than £3.99
