Not to add more fuel onto the fire, but we all know if Kylie gets the #1 it will be her 5th decade #1, but if Little Mix get the #1 it will be their 2nd decade #1. Has any girl group done this before? I double checked to make sure and I know Spice Girls, Destiny's Child, All Saints, Girls Aloud, Sugababes and The Supremes didn't. I'm trying to think of other girl groups that may have done this but can't think of any? I'm more incline for Kylie to get the #1 but well done Little Mix if they achieve this!

How do you stream an album to count towards the charts? Is it playing 10 straight songs from the album in a row secures 1 whole album stream and then 100 streams count as 1 sale? I'm so lost with streaming and how it works in charts! If this is the case though, then when you look at the streams for the respective album songs (that haven't already been released prior to the album) Little Mix seem to be around 15,000 average per song and Kylie seems to be on 5000 average per song on yesterdays streams. What that means in terms of adding to the sales total I don't know. Also, I'm guessing these are world-wide streams so who knows what the UK figure is.

Although this has not helped - it doesn't get away from the fact that a record company done a deal with a streaming service to bump up streams for songs that were not requested. In whatever case this is dodgy ground. Just think of the amount of people who could have betted on this weeks chart, only for the number 1 to be planned weeks in advance. That is "match-fixing" or song-fixing in this case and is also fraud.

I was just saying how this is fraud and I'm glad people are agreeing. In the sporting world this would be deemed as "match-fixing" which if found out could end up a court case. Even in the old days of buying multiple records/cd's/downloads - at least they had to be bought. What this chart has shown is a record company and Amazon have gone into bed with eachother and struck a deal that Ellie Goulding and John Legend would be streamed multiple times WITHOUT the request of the user.

Man I don't post here much anymore but got intrigued and hoped Mariah would get the #1 - especially as that feels like the song that the public would be requesting the most this week. I mean that's the point of streaming isn't it? To get rid of the manipulation that record companies had back in the day (Louis Walsh buying Westlife and Boyzone singles by the truck load springs to mind). I guess no matter what, the charts will always be manipulated in one way or another. And to be honest, this is why I don't care for charts anymore, and I guess why I don't really post in buzzjack anymore. The battle for this weeks #1 peaked my interested because of Mariah vs Stormsy. If you wanted either to get it you would have to actively stream it yourself, but then it turns out that my Auntie asking Alexia for Christmas music, hoping to hear a bit of Slade and is treated with Ellie is a bit.....wrong. Don't get me wrong, I actually love Ellie's song and without the manipulation I'm happy she's #1
