  1. Behind the scenes of the music video: gW1rDgpEHi0
  2. Looks like the video for What You've Done To Me is going to be AMAZING!!! EpRFGeLM-bA Looks like it's going to be an elements style video. If done right and the video is incredible, it really could work and be released internationally. I'd say start promoting in Europe around February, but I bet they wont!
  3. Bella Ferraro came 4th in the Australian X Factor this year - (the winner, Samantha Jade got to #1 in the ARIA singles chart with her single What You've Done To Me) Well Bella has been signed to Sony and releasing her debut single "Set Me On Fire" which has been released in Australia today - 14th December and is currently #29 on Itunes Australia. It's a beautiful ballad that deserves to do well. Ha7SoARlyJo
  4. Yes it's studio versions of songs she performed on the X Factor. I have the album being shipped and on it's way from Australia. Not only that but Samantha's album that she recorded before X Factor called "The Golden Touch" has now been put on Itunes and there's 16 songs!!! Link here: https://itunes.apple.com/au/album/th...ch/id584465829 It's available world-wide, so if you're from the UK search Samantha Jade and it'll come up - and its £6,99 Also a christmas song called Christmas At Last has been put up onto Itunes as well Link here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/ch...le/id583510109 Again it's on Itunes world-wide!!
  5. It'll be interesting, ratings are hugely down - 9million watched last night, so I can imagine tonights would get 11 million, maybe peaking at 12 million. Thats a far cry from the 19million that watched in 2009 and 2010. If Little Mix did 210,000 last year, I can see this doing 150,000 at most to be honest
  6. 7CLwrXvQeWk So much better then whoever is going to win the UK version. Love this song too!! Really hope Samantha will get an International push and release her music over here!
  7. Looking forward to this EP so much! Can't wait when it arrives - probably after christmas though :/
  8. Knightr634 posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
Well this is the Australian Winner - Samantha Jade - performing an ORIGINAL song: 7CLwrXvQeWk Why can't we have her as our winner with that song!!!!
  9. Only dropping just 1 place and fending off competition like Robbie Williams is amazing!! And already Gold - if this can keep performing strongly then hopefully it can go platinum in the next few weeks fingers crossed.
  10. I really like this album and I really hope it can do well. I'm not sure how it's going to do this week but they've got The One Show (linked with Children In Need) on Friday and hopefully that'll get a few million people watching which hopefully would be enough to at least get it known out there and give it a respectable chart placing in the coming weeks.
  11. I think it's fair to say that if you have a song debut in the top regions of the chart, but drops fairly quickly after that - you've appealed mainly to your fans, and less to the general public. If a song debuts fairly low and can work it's way up or consistantly sell, then it's connecting with the general public but taking a long time to get there = a sleeper hit. A song can sell a million copies in it's first week and none in the 2nd, that would still be called a success. The problem JLS have is that single sales have grown in general and continue to grow. Their biggest selling single is their debut. What is worrying is that their recent singles have had total sales that would equal a major hit back in 2005, but are far below the numbers we are used to seeing today (and I dread to think of the album numbers!!) JLS could turn it around, all it takes is that one song, but so far, by the looks of things Hottest Girl is not it.
  12. It's actually a shame its come to this for JLS. Beat Again was such a fantastic pop song and really made me think WOW! They might actually do something good here. Everybody In Love was also a mega hit and their debut album is still the 2nd biggest selling album for an X Factor act (behind Leona's Spirit), even One Shot did really well for a single that was released after a successful album. The problem is, they have never scored as big a hit again. Yes they've had more #1s - but it could be argued that it was more on the back of their name rather than the music itself. Girls Aloud have been used in this debate already, but if you look at their singles, they have managed to keep it fairly even throughout starting with the big hit with a gentle decline, to then another big hit (I'll Stand By You) to another decline, until another big hit (Something Kinda Ooooh) with another little decline before The Promise hit really big numbers again. So far JLS had the big hits with their first 3 singles, but they haven't managed to maintain that and get another big crossover hit so far. I guess JLS had it easy to begin with - they had the market to themselves. Westlife and Take That were appealing to different markets. Then The Wanted came along and now One Direction, all competing for a similar target audience.
  13. I'm so shocked at how well STEPS are doing! So happy at the same time, but considering it hasn't even got a video - this is doing incredibly well!
  14. I think what people have to bear in mind is that you are comparing two different sorts of promotion that work in very different ways. Radio is something you obviously listen to, you don't have a visual to go with it, right now my mum has Radio 2 on and is working in the kitchen, while I'm "working" in the living room next door. It's on, I can hear the music being played, but I'm only half listening to it, not really concentrating on it, but every so often a song might come on that catches my attention and I listen a bit more so to speak. TV is as much about the visual as to what you're listening to, you're more likely to be sitting watching the singer perform, you're a bit more attentive. There might be other things going on, (someone talking over it) but especially a show like X Factor, people are more likely to have their attention on it then they would to radio. This means TV is alot more instant, it's why songs sky rocket on Itunes, despite the fact TV will get lesser numbers then radio, one performance can potentially change a course of where I single would chart. But because it is instant, it is also forgotten if the performance is not mind-blowing enough, so thats why it can start to retreat if it has nothing to back it up. In regards to Leona's Trouble, it's something where before if I had heard it on radio, I probably didn't pay much attention to it, but after the performance, I can now recognise the first few seconds of the song, when I hear it again and I'm more attentive to it. If radio have started to play the song a bit more since the performance, then it could stand to reason why it's holding up on Itunes, maybe?
  15. Actually I'm starting to wonder if the pre-orders will make Adele take the #1 at the last minute :o
  16. I can see this being the case too. Wow! I think this is the first time this year I've been excited by the charts!
  17. Will be interesting to see how it's gonna do, but I for one am looking forward to it!
  18. Steps - Light up the World - album 12th November (single of the same name is apparently 5th November)
  19. That'll be rectified as Screw You is gonna be the 3rd single
  20. Just incase its needed, the UK Itunes link to Dancing With A Broken Heart: http://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/dancing-b...gle/id550932988
  21. Those are all just brilliant!! Wish You Were Here is such an emotional song I could cry to it, but Touch feels like its gonna be such a rocky number - really looking forward to hearing that one on the album That 90's melody is amazing especially the Wannabe bit, and Delta going crazy on Sitting On Top of the World was a joy to watch :D
  22. Knightr634 posted a post in a topic in Girls Aloud's Girls Aloud
Hopefully when Call My Name charts, it could generate some interest in Fight For This Love to take it over the million mark
  23. Sitting On Top of the World has been certified Platinum in Australia (70,000 sales) less than 4 weeks in the chart :D
  24. Also, I do think it's quite interesting to see a song by a singer do this well with no promo (not even TV or Radio) and have been gone from the UK charts for 7 years. Ok, it's not blowing up the charts yet, but it shows to the music industry the power of the internet. And Sitting On Top of the World is currently #460
  25. lol I do agree naturally, but it's rather amazing how well this is doing considering it has had no promo here whatsoever. There is interest in Delta over here and hopefully this will wake Sony up to realise this. Still rising too - now #464
