  1. Just watched/listened to the You Tube clip! Hmmm, well I'm sure it'll grow on me. I admit, I'm from Leeds so I'm a bit biased about the Kaisers. Employment was a great album though - probably the one I played most last year. But, as with the Killers perhaps, they've got a lot to live to!
  2. This is my first post on Buzz Jack so please be gentle with me... :) I was just googling for stuff David Sneddon and found a link to this forum and thought it was worth bringing people up to date with his career. As well as the songwriting, which I guess you could describe as his 'day job' - he is going to be working with new Polydor signed artists in the coming months - David is in the process of relaunching his career as a solo performer. In the latter half of last year he played a series of intimate acoustic gigs to showcase his new songs. He also set up the all important myspace page www.myspace.com/davidsneddon last year. The gigs have been going down well and next week, 10th Jan to be exact, he is releasing a 5-track EP entitled 'White Noise' to co-incide with a mini-tour across the south of England with two other singer/songwriters Chris Townsend and Jake Hook. There is also promise of a new album later in the year, if he can squeeze it in with his songwriting commitments. He still plays the piano, and his new stuff is rather more grown-up, 'indie singer/songwriter' than the pop and ballads on his first album. In particular check out 'Time', one of the tracks on the EP, which is a gorgeously light, uplifting song.
