India de Beaufort is also in this. I might have to watch the pilot for that reason alone.

edit: everytime I try linking the Soundcloud link it says the track is not available so here's the page with the track and a short interview explaining the change http://flopof thepops.blogspot.com/2012/01/exclusive-premiere-vincent-did-it.html BuzzJack apparently doesn't like Flop Of The Pops so just take away the space from the URL until alternative link is available.

Breakaway was an amazing album for its time (04 being the time for pop/rock P!nk' 'I'm not dead'). Looking back now it's still a great album but not as strong as Stronger or even All I Ever Wanted.
  11. 'There's a new disease called the Kardashians. They just sort of spread. Like herpes.' Amazing.

FEQCDTkGjKY Amazing. As for the leak, one of the tracks cuts off as does the interview (30mins!) so it might just be best to wait till it's officially released.
  13. I couldn't be bothered to sit through a whole Jessie J performance so I listened to that note that Davidson said was a 'moment of life'. Are you talking about that god awful growl she has when she sings or that shriek? Her voice grates me in so many ways it's unreal. I never understood the appeal of Jessie J. Carrying on from Jake's point, Who You Are is possibly one of the worst 'uplifting' songs ever. It's so literal and plain that all meaning is lost in the words. It makes 'Do you ever feel like a plastic bag drifting through the wind wanting to start again?' look like lyrical genius. Another song to compare it to - 'f***ing Perfect', which is also pretty literal in the same sense, is far superior than this.

Preview of the iTunes EP Never Again sounds incredible.

exit was quite underwhelming.. I expected so much more.
  16. I thought the last episode was quite average really. As impressive as the season has been, after the watching the final episode I feel like it was incredibly condensed and rushed through. Looking at the spoilers for Season 2 though I can see why it's been done like that now. I'm disappointed in the changes for the next season but at the same time I can't really see any other way to keep the series from becoming repetitive.

I haven't followed this at all but I thought I would see the performances from last night. What the f*** is this Chris Rene doing in the final? Not many people can make look like a hard song to sing but DEAR GOD. Josh and was nice, I love his soothing rock voice. Not sure if he would be right with an X Factor contract. I'd rather him not win and take the Chris Daughtry route. This Melanie girl seems like a cheap Mariah. She seems to be the most likely winner. I'll be shocked if anyone else wins.
  18. I wasn't keen on 'Roman In Moscow' but I've grown to like it. 'Stupid Hoe' though

the last series was really good. especially towards the end of the series. this one was really disappointing. it felt more like 'let's see what the gang from This Is England are up to two years later' rather than having an actual plot.
  21. This. The pretentious snobbery that comes from them... Good riddance.

I don't think age has anything to do with it. I was only 11 at the time and was still majorly into my bubblegum pop at that time. I'm not a massive fan of Johnny Cash, I love some of his songs, Walk The Line is one of my favourite films but I would much rather hear his version of Hurt than Leona's. The overproduction, the messy arrangement just doesn't do anything for me. I still stand by the piano not working. His version is just so truly haunting. When I heard it, I didn't even know it was so soon after/before June's/his death. You don't need to know someone's back story to have an emotional connection with the song.
