I've heard Hurt but I'm so confused why they put such a messy track out. The ending is horrific. The backing track completely overpowers her vocals. And it just does not work on piano. It sounds like someone hit the wrong key.

Actually quite excited for this. I loved Official Girl and Can't Be Love but King of Hearts sounds so much better and that preview..

In The Mourning is beautiful. That was the track that made me buy the Singles Club download. There's a softening Country feel to it that I love. It really has made me pumped for the new album.

I know she's on both labels but Interscope are heading this era. Which she has said. It's not like the album is going to launch after this single anyway. There's going to be a second and probably a third single before the album. Tbh, you can probably strike The Other Chick off as a Buzz Single and consider this to be a proper buzz single. She's been touring and appearing on radio like crazy. Like I said she's been gone for 5 years, the label need to rediscover who her audience is because only the major hardcore fans are going to still be supporting her 5 years later.

I had a lecture with Starsmith the other day and he said the record isn't due for release until late 2012... He said they are working on song structure a lot more. Stripping it down to just a voice and piano and then working on it from there. Work on the second album has begun though.
