Dev - The Night The Sun Came Up
NEW YORK--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--DEV will drop her anxiously awaited debut full-length, THE NIGHT THE SUN CAME UP on September 20, 2011 in stores everywhere and online. “'In the Dark' is straight fire. Immediate reaction when played at the clubs and on air. Huge record for us!” Her sly, sexy and chic electro pop sound has already stirred up a flurry of anticipation for the record. Breakout single "Bass Down Low" produced by cohorts THE CATARACS recently exceeded GOLD status, establishing the Los Angeles-based songstress as a daring and diverse 21st century diva. The album also features current hit single "In The Dark", another kinetic and catchy anthem with an unforgettable hook. The song takes the template that DEV and THE CATARACS built on The Far East Movement's multi-platinum smash, "Like A G6", to another level. Radio has already responded to "In The Dark" with uncontainable fervor. E-Man APD/MD of Power 106 in Los Angeles says, "'In the Dark' is straight fire. Immediate reaction when played at the clubs and on air. Huge record for us!" You can catch the music video on June 24, 2011 when it debuts. In the meantime, the remix of "Bass Down Low" featuring Tinie Tempah hit the Top 10 on the UK iTunes chart. After working with A-list luminaries such as Timbaland, Travis Barker, and David Guetta on their own projects, DEV has remained loyal to the already-successful-formula she has created with THE CATARACS for all songs on THE NIGHT THE SUN CAME UP. DEV has also been lauded with numerous prestigious accolades including an ASCAP 2011 Pop Award for "Like A G6" and Best Rap/Hip Hop Dance Track at the 26th annual International Dance Music Awards, while mtvU nominated her for Best New Artist. Perez Hilton applauds her exclaiming, "[sounds like] Ibiza meets the streets", and The Hollywood Reporter calls her, "[The] next golden club girl"! There's nothing quite like experiencing these songs live though, and she brings a fresh fire every time she hits the stage. Hot off a highly successful run with THE CATARACS supporting Usher in arenas across the United States, DEV is primed for pop supremacy. Set a reminder to be ready for THE NIGHT THE SUN CAME UP because pop music may never be the same. Tracklisting for THE NIGHT THE SUN CAME UP: 1. Getaway 2. Heatstroke 3. Kiss My Lips 4. Me 5. Lightspeed 6. Shadows 7. Perfect Match 8. In My Trunk 9. Take Her From You 10. Dancing Shoes 11. Bass Down Low 12. In The Dark 13. Stay Awake 14. Killer *All songs produced by The Cataracs http://eon.businesswire.com/news/eon/20110627005410/en Not sure how I feel about all the tracks being produced by The Cataracs but I have yet to dislike a track by them (bar Club Love) so I guess I'm content.

Happy 4th Birthday My December!
Completely meant to post this yesterday but yesterday marked the 4 year anniversary since the release of My December! Use this thread to reminisce about the era (good and bad), general appreciation for the album/individual songs etc. First of all - This album gave me one of my favourite Kelly songs ever: W37n6gy8mHY As soon as I hear that guitar intro, I literally turn to goo. And of course, the general favourite on the forum: me7GYlaliRE This era was also the first time I saw her live in concert and it was also my first concert ever (still have the ticket) amazing show, will never forget hearing her sing Up To The Mountain. Completely forgetting about the label drama with Clive Davis, this was an overall good album. I like the raw energy that came with the songs. They weren't too polished like AIEW. Obviously the album was one for the fans but I genuinely liked it and still listen to it today

True Blood | Season 5
This. End of every episode was like !!! season 3 was like ... Whilst I did enjoy some episodes it was too much at once. I can't remember who but I was watching interviews from the premiere and one of the cast said that they go back to the 'old classic True Blood'. I liked the new episode, I like that they are jumping straight into the plot with the witches. Apparently is coming back which will be interesting. This promo for the next few episodes makes me excited for the season  xVKsHhvIYog Also I have a link for Episode 2 so if anyone wants...!

Apparently at the Microsoft store opening, it was said that the album will now be released in October. This either means single has been pushed back or two/three singles before the album

Kelly Clarkson - Stronger
^It's not official I don't think, looks very similar to the one on KCE (made by a fan poster) that was based on David Cook's release schedule for his new album.

A post from a music blog who supposedly have heard 'Let Me Down': Not much is known about Kelly Clarkson’s new project, except that the single is expected to drop mid/late July followed by an album release in September. Due to a massive amount of track leaks in late 2010 the project has received major push backs. However, recent rumors have stated that “Let Me Down” is currently slated to be the lead single off her fifth studio album. “Let Me Down” follows the usual Kelly Clarkson formula; a pop-rock song about a boy who has broken her heart. “You’re only gonna make me feel so crazy, but when I think we could be something you go and let me down” sings Kelly in the drum driven chorus. Unlike Kelly’s previous single’s, “Let Me Down” vocally channels a bit of classic Kelly via “Breakaway”, but with a touch of the cockyness found in “All I Ever Wanted”. “Let Me Down” is popCHAMBER approved! This is the Kelly we fell in love with; vocally and lyrically. With an epic video, this is bound to be Kelly’s next #1. http://popchamber.com/?p=346 Also, as far as I know, the last public appearance that Kelly has lined up right now is June 25th at a Microsoft store opening so my guess is that as soon as that has gone past, things will start moving forward.

I passed out half way through the latest episode so I will have to rewatch but I remember thinking that I was incredibly bored...

David Guetta Feat. Taio Cruz & Ludacris - Little Bad Girl
Is it just me or does Taio sound a lot like Will.I.Am in this?

Wakey!Wakey! - Almost Everything I Wish I'd Said The Last..
The band will be more familiar to the US posters of the forum (album reached #1 on Billboard Heatseekers)/anyone that watches One Tree Hill (front man Mike Grubbs played Grubbs in Season 7, music was also featured) but after a few sell out concerts in the UK and supporting James Blunt on tour, they are finally releasing their debut album in the UK on August 1st! Their music is definitely worth a listen and the album is pretty good. Light Outside: okAQ-aRTBAY Car Crash (features James Lafferty): dYd21diy8OE

The Darkness reform.
 The fact that even I, someone who once bought a Basshunter album, found that laughable says something..

It is something isn't it? If this doesn't make the album I will cut the bitch responsible for creating the tracklist. Having said that, usually Kelly decides on the tracklist and after the response on the KC forums I would be very surprised if it doesn't make the album let alone become Single #1

Weeds
After seeing continuous posts on the new season on my feed, I finally picked it up again. Only wanted to watch 1 episode, ended up watching the rest of Season 6  The second half was pretty good. Its getting slightly ridiculous now but its fairly watchable. I enjoyed it and looking forward to the new season next week ^_^

US TV Primetime Discussion || Fall 2011
Almost anything can get a 22 episode order on The CW  LUX anyone? Although now that Ostroff isn't on board that might change... I'm not too sure on Ringer, it sounds good but I think if SMG wasn't on it then I probably wouldn't bother. I see it being The CW's Dollhouse (:()

3OH!3 - Robot
I have to say I actually House Party now :P When I first heard it though it was a major turn off. 'Double Vision' for me wasn't too much of a stand out track. It seemed a bit too forced to be a 'hit on the radio'. More 'Touchin On My'.

Kelly's 50 #1's
I found it on a site who compiled it after Hollywood Reporter said that Kelly has had 60 instead of 50 so I'm just going with what's being reported.
