    Rolling Stone review:

    This season, while R&B fans spin albums by Mariah, Usher and Janet, Ashanti needs more pizazz to compete. On her fourth album, she's still doing the diva-by-numbers thing, alternating between angry-at-her-man anthems and lovey pleasantry. The shuffling "Body on Me," featuring Nelly and Akon, and the shiny electro-pop "So Over You" are a step up from her Ja Rule duets of old. But even with A-list producers like Babyface, Jermaine Dupri and Rodney Jerkins, the beats stick to straightforward bounce or subdued ballads. And Ashanti doesn't offer any more personality: When she coos, "I will let you take control of what I have inside," on "Girlfriend," it's not clear she has much inside to offer.

    beautiful soul (album) wasnt released over here. The single was. The same with right where you want me. The single got released but dunno bout the album. 2nd single from RWYWM was quite good as well :(

    I love you guys and thanks so much for your thoughts and prayers. This past week has been difficult but Im getting through it.

    Finally watched The Exorcist and :mellow: not at all what i expected. I expected my hair (whats left of it) to be standing on end and my eyebrows to touch the top of my forehead. Not at all. It was... supernatural thriller. I started to think, why is this film supposedly the scariest film of all time? probs cos of the time it was made in and how we didnt really know much better in the 70s. the only thing that came close to creeping me out was the jumping faces in between scenes. I thought i was going mad :lol: cos my mate continued like nothing happened. good film but not the scariest. Some good cinema moments though :)

    Pete Wentz has confirmed that wife Ashlee Simpson is pregnant.

     

    Rumours have been rife for several weeks that the couple, who married earlier this month, are expecting a baby.

     

    The Fall Out Boy rocker wrote on his website: "While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child.

     

    "This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family."

     

    Wentz slammed reports that the singer was pregnant last month, describing them as "crazy".

     

    Simpson's new album Bittersweet World was released on Monday.
