I think it's amazing the impact advert songs have chart wise and always wonder what sort of deals they set up and permission they have to seek! I'm not going to go into some deep thought about this song but... I love the song, the contradiction of the light, happy sound of the song with the clash of the dark, heavier lyrics is wonderful. Look at songs like Pumped Up Kicks - Foster The People to see how well this can work, people thought that was some amazing summery indie song because of the light sound and light chorus. But the content of the song was actually really sinister. Yeah, sure, the delivery is a bit cheesy, but the message is quite chilling when you fast forward to Britney's very public breakdown years later. How poignant. :wub:
