  1. The bottom two are bangers but I could easily live without Meghan or Pixie tbh

  4. I detect a vague sniff of hype
  5. banger
  6. Confirmed! It’s time for Holland-Oats’ triumphant return to the lower Top 30

It’s 47 minutes, so it’s the longest supplementary episode and joint third longest episode of this season (with Michonnes final episode). I’ve really enjoyed these episodes tbh - I haven’t watched many new episodic shows lately but over the past couple of months I’ve had the one-two punch of TWD and Shameless (US) to watch on my Mondays off and I’ve really loved it  Now TWD is over until presumably October if not later, and Shameless finishes for good next week!
  8. Dexton posted a post in a topic in Television
In true TWD style they followed up one of the worst episodes with one of the best imo Here’s Negan is the characterisation from the comics we needed and has me SO hyped for the next season, what an ending!
  9. Great songs to start this! What a great idea too :cheer: What A Feeling is an all time banger tbh I never get sick of it  Likewise for Irreplaceable which would certainly be in my Top 20 as well if not Top 10. It’s such an iconic anthem that everyone knows
  10. Very fun but very fast paced for me tbh. I’m not quite enjoying this as much as WandaVision (or other Marvel shows I’ve seen tbh, as I’m currently watching the Netflix shows) but it’s enjoyable and I am interested in the story
  11. That’s all good! For similar reasons tbh I have a lot going on rn and Buzzjack has kinda been on my back burner for quite some time. For a few months personal charts was definitely the only thing drawing me back here on a weekly basis and it’s started to feel a little like a chore? I enjoy compiling music but I think I’ve “gotten over” the chart aspect of it in a sense. It might just be temporary but comparing the effort I used to put into this (commentary, up to date archive, point scoring for YTD, other data etc etc) to now I’m feeling like I don’t enjoy it as much anymore :P

  13. For big event movies like Endgame having a busier cinema is better IMO. Everyone is involved cheering, laughing, gasping, crying etc. It adds to the experience and kinda reassures you that being so invested in a movie is normal. I get that loud eaters or people on their phone is very annoying but that’s a minority of people (in my experience anyway) so I can overlook it. But other times, when the movie isn’t anything too special I’d rather it be quiet so I can just enjoy the movie and not worry about being too loud if I’m eating popcorn
  14. #202 is a good number to stop personal charts at right?
  15. Dexton posted a post in a topic in Television
I enjoyed it more than I thought it would but yeah nothing special. I guess it’s an insight into Alexandrian life which, as it turns out, is pretty boring when there’s no villain  It was nice seeing Carol’s resourcefulness and survival skills in effect - but this also could’ve been two 7 minute webisodes of “Carol’s Soup” and “Daryl’s Bike”

I don’t think there’s a thread for this yet? I just got back from the cinema and I thoroughly enjoyed it... but there were a few issues. Mainly the first 40–45 minutes which contain a lot of janky set up for the coming battle. The pacing is all over the shop and when you compare the first half to the second half it’s like two different movies. Cinematography & direction are fantastic imo there are some really amazing shots but it’s let down by the writing. Which isn’t a major issue as long as you go into the movie expecting “monsters versus monsters” and not “gripping storyline”. But in saying that, Kong gets a decent amount of character development and he becomes a character you can sympathise with. And the story behind is understandable but a tad rushed. I would’ve loved more about the but maybe that’s asking too much from a monster movie :P They’ve said that the MonsterVerse will continue so long as this film is successful, which I think will happen despite lack of cinema screenings and the flack it’s getting purely for being a WB movie where people are boycotting WB because of the Justice League drama. I’m happy to see more monster movies tbh, even if it’s just random monster v monsters with janky stories

I haven’t watched it yet but supposedly this weeks is one of the worst since Angela took over as showrunner. A bonus episode of basically just filler Carol making soup and talking to Dog

They've literally released 14 songs since their last album  Honestly just throw everything 2017-2021 on an album and start again this has been such a mess

I’m so glad this is FINALLY on Spotify
  22. Hey james! Golden coming for #1 next week? :kink: What is Head & Heart still doing here  I'm happy to see Your Love and Let Me Reintroduce Myself entering the Top 40! Both great songs and former Top 10 hits on my chart too! It's a great return to form for Gwen although I doubt she's gonna get much if any commercial success Hold On entering! Great chart!
  23. Hey ! Not so surprising to see The 1975 #1 here! I wasn't really impressed by the song especially considering the names involved but I might have to give it another listen Post Malone's cover is completely random but I love it  The music video is required for full effect tbh Nice to see PILL BREAKER charting here too! Typhoons was #1  Great chart!

Hey Mango! Lovely to see Dua was #1 here last week, she only just managed it on my chart but she has peaked higher with better songs :P I haven't heard the Ella x Tom song yet, I liked her material from a few years back but haven't heard much since Great for Silk Sonic and Justin Bieber almost in the Top 20  Hold On is my favourite from his new album (I think)! Typhoons I'm loving atm also  Great chart!
