100% agree, there should totally not be such an abundance of Tyrunt or Aerodactyl etc. Idk why they couldn’t have just added the fossils themselves and let us revive them... or at least give a reason as to why there’s extinct Pokémon about. I know it’s a remote place but that doesn’t explain it  It is entirely more fun than IoA which I got bored of very quickly as there isn’t really a whole lot to do. The story in CT is just much more interesting too, I love the idea of doing quests like this in a Pokémon game

Ooo that’s the earliest I’ve ever come in a semi! Maybe Holland-Oats’ luck has changed? A handful of names I know here although only one in my semi, Julia Michaels seems like a peculiar artist to make it through but I suppose she isn’t that big of a name as I have her made out to be in my head Unless it’d an anniversary entry then that makes more sense  Hype

1 Physical 2 Break My Heart 3 Levitating 4 Don’t Start Now 5 Hallucinate But all are 10/10 songs from a 10/10 album  Levitating might overtake BMH for me in a couple of weeks as that’s definitely been the biggest grower for me from the album (aside from the title track which I could barely stand originally but now adore more than any other non singles).

That photo of Union J reminds me of when people make Sims using "realistic" mods Jai has a good voice but other than a couple of decent singles early in his career he's released a lot of crap

Ball Park Music still dominating here! Wow! Their newest album was released on Friday and it's really great. Day & Age is a fantastic song of course but Spark Up! and Head Like A Sieve especially are solid highlights (if you can't find the time to listen to the whole album). They also covered Radiohead's Paranoid Android on Triple J the other day and it's an epic cover 54sh1scHXqY Also nice to see Petit Biscuit here again! That song will likely enter my chart next week

Damn I missed it

In Your Eyes would have easily been a huge smash if not for Blinding Lights being such a massive force for so long. Imo they should've waited until now to push IYE as a single and would have no doubt been a Top 10 everywhere. Maybe have someone other than Doja Cat on the remix

100% Also Usher feels a bit wasted, could have easily been any other vocalist on this and the song wouldn't be any different

Hey JSG! Mood is great! Very easy to jam to in the sun too, which were FINALLY seeing more of here in Aus! Yeah... Wonder might be doomed to a #11 peak whoops poor Shawn New Kelly is really great! A well welcome return to dance pop for her Thanks!

We really went 13 years with no one talking about Crash Bandicoot

I sent something I think will be vetoed but we'll see! It a very different type of song to the usual Holland-Oats entries that will probably be a unique DNQ for us so that's exciting. I have a backup just in case that is more akin to my usual flops x

Supposedly the 10-episode miniseries won't "rewrite the finale"or anything like that is is set 8 years after the original finale following actual time since then. It also won't be set in Miami, and means that Deb is indeed still dead. However I do think she will come back as a "ghost" kind of like how Harry was in the original series always there in Dexter's mind. Now it'll be Deb haunting his memories day-to-day. I'd love for her to return anyway

I'm really liking this! Tequila was more instant but grew a bit tiresome after a couple of weeks, this I can see growing a lot on me tbh The chorus reminds me of another song but I can't quite put my finger on it

Not the best tbh, it's not terrible by any means but comparing this to Holy theres a huge difference in quality.

Any more?

Early 2021 afaik

The chart history of Fleetwood Mac is incredibly bizarre. I would not have expected that to be a #1 hit (especially over certain other classics) then the likes of Dreams and Don’t Stop didn’t appear to do much commercially? Landslide & The Chain are arguably two of their very biggest songs yet are basically not there I’m glad it’s entered even if for a strange reason

But surely that is against the entire point of ACR in the first place, no?

I think it felt a little rushed that’s all, I watched the final 2 episodes again just last week and it all happens very fast. I love the idea of them going to prison for just being horrible people and all the throwbacks with old characters and clips was a perfect way to do so. It just happened a bit too fast tbh. Also being among a below average season doesn’t help its cause. I believe the show had been cancelled or they were very afraid of being cancelled at that point which may have contributed too GoT suffers the same problem but it’s entirely their (the creators) fault. Rushed rushed rushed for no good reason. House of Cards PERSONALLY needed Kevin Spacey to be good. I understand why he was removed and it was fully the right thing to do but I honestly would’ve rather them cancelled the show than have Claire take over as it just didn’t feel right. If that’s where they were headed originally then okay but it just needed more time to flesh out his downfall & her rise. Again, not exactly the showrunners fault but it still could’ve been handled much better Basically yes the more years a show has been on air the harder it’ll be for them to tie things off nicely... unless the whole point was to leave the door open for a reboot (ie Roseanne, Will & Grace, Prison Break, now Dexter)

Sopranos is only just on that list tbf, I just found the ending a bit.. flat? After everything that happened I just expected a bit more of a bang. I think a big issue with a lot of tv show endings is trying to live up to the hype and success of previous seasons which 9 times out of 10 the finale can't reach. In dramas theres often a lot of different plots and relationships going on which need to be resolved by the end and I find a good portion of shows wait until the last episode to really tie things up to the point it feels a bit rushed. You can't expect a show that's gone on for 6+ years to be consistent all the way through of course but it's great when they do  I haven't watched Breaking Bad yet but according to everyone I've spoke about it that apparently had a perfect ending. I'd say that The Good Place had a perfect run too and The Office ended great despite a rocky 1 1/2 seasons. And yes my username is from the show! Well it's from my dog to be exact but close enough. There is a reason I went for Dexton and not Dexter but I can't remember why Maybe I'll change my name to Dexter and spam the shoutbox with quotes from the show and defend it to my grave
