Coming for the longest DNQ streak in BJSC history now right?

I’m similar to you when it comes to strategy games although I have much less experience with them. Civilisation is probably the most “strategy” game I’ve ever played, I suppose the likes of Tropico, Cities Skylines and Jurassic World Evolution kind of enter that territory but that is more city building / management whereas Civ is much different. Kinda like comparing the Civilisation Stage of Spore (if you’ve ever played) to a Sid Meiers game :lol: I’ve seen a few YouTubers play HOI before and as interesting as it looks I found it hard to imagine myself getting entirely immersed whilst playing solo? A similar issue I had with Civ a while ago as the AI just infuriated me... but I only tried an online match twice and both times I timed out so maybe I just haven’t tried it enough. Speaking of Cities Skylines I think I’m gonna reinstall that, it’s an amazing game even without all the DLC they’ve released since the last time I played. I could never expand my cities much as my computer would seriously struggle fo run it after a while. A couple of hours of play and that was it for a city :lol: I’m probably also gonna get Among Us if anything just to see what the fuss is all about Just Cause and even Far Cry might be worth looking into now you mention JC... I think Just Cause 3 came out a year or two ago didn’t it? Unless I’m thinking of something else A quick search online and Elite Dangerous looks/sounds like a more realistic No Mans Sky :lol: In terms of console vs PC I think the only thing I preferred about playing on my old Xbox One to my laptop was having the controller tbh. Which I’m fully intending to buy for gaming on my computer now anyway I’m just trying to decide whether to go for Xbox or PS... or I mean I do have a Switch Pro Controller which quite a few games are compatible with these days too.

I recently bought a ~$2800 gaming pc setup which is something I’ve wanted to do for years but never really had the chance to do. I’ve played games on my laptop before but nothing too extravagant and nothing with graphics above normal/medium. Now I can do pretty much anything I’m kinda stumped on what to do/play first. I’ve synced to my Steam account and played a bit of JWE (this time with ultra high settings which looks incredible) but other than that I don’t really have anything that’s very impressive or new. The last major game I played on my laptop was Civ 6 and before that probably TF2 :lol: I’m keen to try some new stuff though but I just don’t know what. I do want to sink my teeth into Red Dead Redemption 2 as I’ll no doubt get swept away for a very long time but I need more suggestions :lol: What do you consider to be some of the best games available on PC? Others I’ve thought about so far are Subnautica and Planet Zoo

Heat Waves is a great song I'm glad you like it too! I do really enjoy Killers new album also, I'm not sure if I prefer it to Wonderful Wonderful though as that was exceptional. Run For Cover remains in my Top 5 songs from the band!

Head & Heart is very basic but it’s nice :lol: I’m glad someone else prefers Hallucinate to Don’t Stop Now! You'll be glad to see Heat Waves is my #1 this week! Chew On My Heart will be here for a while yet though, as will Levitating! I'm glad you like Day & Age! :heart: Such a great song, robbed completely in BJSC :( I think it's potentially my favourite song I've entered in BJSC to date. I might rank them at some point soon - all I know is this and Sending Me Ur Loving would be very close to the top I agree that Time of My Life is far from their best. It's decent enough but I don't think it'll be remembered too well in a few months time :P Taylor's whole album has some great lyrics on there, very quotable too! Exile and Cardigan will be on rotation for me for a long time coming still! :wub: Physical is an amazing pop song :dance: I love the whole album though. Levitating is growing on me more & more still I think it could challenge Break My Heart as my second fav from this era before long You'll like this week! :lol: 2020 has been a pretty rough year all around but if there's one thing good that's happened it's Dua's ascension as a pop legend tbh. Future Nostalgia is just that album

A long time coming, really, which makes room for some newer releases to enter the chart lower down as well as some post-album singles from Tame Impala and The Killers. Kygo's Hot Stuff remake enters fairly high considering it's a) a Kygo song that is not related to Avicii and b) it's a paint by numbers Kygo remix. I'm quite liking it so far definitely more than What's Love Got To Do With It and potentially more than Higher Love (which actually never charted here as it was more of a slow burner for me that realistically spent a few weeks in the 51-60 region). Also new is a "county" song by Keith Urban and Pink. I say "county" as it's about as hillbilly as Sam Hunt's Body Like A Back Road or Morgan Evan's Day Drunk were ... but I much prefer this :lol: I'm all for Pink "experimenting" with different sounds. Funny that of my new entries to the chart like half of them are from artists who have been releasing music for over a decade at the very least. Donna Summer, Pink, The Killers, Daryl Braithwaite, Daniel Bedingfield. Justin Bieber has been around for over 10 years now too which is a surprising thought. Glass Animals make it to #1 with Heat Waves which is by far my favourite song right now :dance: Perfect for the weather right now although I admit I haven't spent much time outside lately.. but it looks nice out :lol:

I am guilty of not playing Animal Crossing at all since like May :kink: Non-stop play for weeks then silence, Pokémon Sword had a similar effect on me. Luigi’s Mansion 3 seemed like a fun game but I struggled to get into it at the beginning, I do need to give it another try I bought Super Mario 3D Allstars as I had 1/2 of a game voucher left to use and it seems good so far, maybe not entirely what I was expecting but it’s fun. I do wish there was more of a co-op aspect to the games though (particularly Galaxy as it does have co-op but a very poor amount). I get that was how the OG games were but adding the option of a second player would go a long way. Me and my girlfriend enjoy playing games together but there isn’t many equal co-op games to play on the Switch when you really look. Plenty of games list 1-2 or 1-4 players but then you actually start playing and the only multiplayer capabilities it really has are a small handful of mini games on the main screen where story etc. remains singleplayer.

I think the problem is that Higher Love was a remix of a cover so the song felt original and different as we hadn’t really heard the original sung that way before. Whereas WLGTDWI and Hot Stuff are essentially just remixes. If he had Tina Turner cover Hot Stuff in her style THEN have it remixed by Kygo, or Donna Summers cover WLGTDWI and have that remixed by Kygo, I think both could be more successful Hot Stuff does just feel like a basic remix of the original song

I really wish they'd add series 12 to Netflix already :lol: I'm up to series 11 in my rewatch and I'm seriously struggling to watch tbh, more than I did when I watched it on release. I think coming off the back of a fantastic series 10 and Twice Upon A Time, then immediately jumping into series 11 I'm kinda sick of the series very quickly. I know theres some decent parts but getting to those is too much of a slog :lol: On a sidenote, Clara has gone from being one of my very least favourite companions to arguably Top 2/3 in this watch. I'm not a fan of her and #11, the episodes themselves are okay but I'm just not into the chemistry between them. Whereas her and #12 are PERFECT together. Series 8 is a bit off the mark with the writing at some points I agree but as a whole it's not a major issue. Danny wasn't entirely needed but it did for once give us someone who was completely disinterested in travelling with the doctor and seeing that play out between them was a nice change of pace. Series 9 is by far my favourite since Series 4 however. Under The Lake / Before The Flood are the only weak points for me but I still enjoyed it.

I suppose there might be more focus on animated movies for now whilst live action is more of a risk? I remember liking the original but I can't say I remember much of it :lol:

Hey Mango! COMH is really great :dance: It's a shame James Bay doesn't get chart hits anymore as his material is just as strong now as it were 5 years ago. I really liked Bad from his last EP, potentially more than some of the singles from his debut. He's known for Let It Go and Hold Back The River but I think that's about it. Scars was a minor hit mainly from radio and an advert I think. I'm loving Mood too, it could easily be my next #1! I still haven't listened to WAP all the way through tbh Let's Love is nice though it needs a bit more time to grow on me properly

I'm kinda shocked at how close this is tbh
