Dexton

I've just started watching this show and haven't read this thread at all (trying to avoid spoilers) but I just had to say how much the concept reminds me of Misfits  Maybe part of that is how Robert Sheehan is in both shows though

Confirmed with what I wish I sent last contest! A smooth indie rock track I’ve been loving a lot myself lately that will hopefully resonate with at least my semi

Special K  Honestly both of these songs are incredibly iconic and timeless and will most certainly go down as classics in pop/r&b music. Two of the biggest songs of the 2000s and biggest girl group solo singles. But Crazy In Love just edges it for me

Totally thought this was “jxn” at first and thought Paranoia was getting some post-BJSC-flop love but no :nocheer:

Can’t Feel My Face for the final round?

Looking pretty even so far - and is be happy with either of them leaving tbh  More votes please guys!

It’s definitely a grower! And definitely not dance

In August? I swear people are releasing Christmas songs earlier and earlier each year

A week with good weather... maybe that means Little Mix will get a new peak?

More please! :)

Hype *.* I’d love Funk Wav 2, I might be one of the few people who thinks this but I way preferred that sound to his recent house projects I suppose he could keep up this cycle forever and is basically always guaranteed hits, his name is big enough to secure Top 10 at least and there’s enough time between songs that no one gets sick of it. Funk Wav one year, then two years/18 months of commercial dance pop releases with big names, then a more experimental/traditional dance project, repeat recycle

Countdown!

Partition / Yonce me!

Save Your Tears

Fun is a great choice! I also love Birds from that album although it’s a less “safe” choice

Yes!

"Savage Love" wasn't a thing before Jason Derulo came along though that's the difference, it was a separate entity altogether. The "original" song was an instrumental by Jawst, it then became popular on TikTok to the point where Jason Derulo wanted to add his vocals to the instrumental to create a new song. I think if the original "Laxed (Siren Beat)" had sold enough sales to make the chart then it would chart separately, however due to "Savage Love" existing theres really no need for anyone to buy or stream the instrumental. Think of it as a sample rather than an original song that's been remixed

Levitating looking to debut ahead of Hallucinate :( Great for Dua if she gets two chart hits now but I hope Levitating possibly taking off doesn't shift all the focus away from Hallucinate

I thought this would be first! I don't know too much of their discography other than some of the major singles but I've had a listen through quite a lot on spotify 1 Mr Blue Sky 2 Don't Bring Me Down 3 Sweet Talkin' Woman 4 Can't Get It Out Of My Head 5 Evil Woman Also liked Livin' Thing and Turn To Stone

Hey Mango! I’m glad you like Be Like That too! It’s such a feel good song (but not so feel good lyrics ) Yeah I think this is my least favourite song from their new album but I still like it Monsters is from their album that came out a couple of months ago - it is a single! Whether it’s a full blown single I’m not sure but it’s definitely a radio single in the US

Tequila and Take Your Time are iconic 2010s country songs *.*

Renaming the forum now! I was very shocked when I was compiling these results, obviously while the rates were coming in I could see that Kelly was doing well (perhaps favoured partly due to the fact she hasn't had a rate before?) but I didn't realise how crazy it would turn out until the end! Commander is around 10-15 places to high imo... it's a good song but the fact it's Top 10 over Survivor, Bootylicious, Telephone, and If I Were A Boy had me shook *.* I don't think we could've asked for a much better winner though. Lose My Breath is indeed a timeless classic and as always well-loved on Buzzjack pretty much by all
