Hallucinate • Fourth Single
I think it’s a creative idea that is honestly underused by major artists these days. A lot of indie/smaller acts opt for animated videos as they can often be cheaper than live action music videos. Considering the circumstances too I am more than happy with her choice! I am buzzing for the visuals as it will be 100% “Future Nostalgia”

Would you 'dress up' if you were going on to a gameshow?
I'd probably want to wear more 'smart casual' clothes than a suit or anything, maybe nice jeans and a shirt or something. I'd also be comfortable if not more comfortable wearing a hoodie

Disneytoon Studios sequels
Lilo & Stitch 2 Lion King 2 and 1 1/2 Brother Bear 2 All 10/10 movies, the rest I’ve either forgotten or never seen Lion King 2 is a bit strange looking back but its a nice telling of Romeo & Juliet following on from the originals Hamlet portrayal. The third movie is super unnecessary but I ADORE it so much it’s actually hilarious DIG A TUNNEL DIG DIG A TUNNEL quick before the hyena come

18. Kelly Rowland - Motivation (feat. Lil Wayne) - 8.04 A recent entry to AF Idol which knocked us out of the contest :nocheer: This was a Top 20 hit in the US but didn't perform overly well anywhere else. I'm really glad it's managed Top 20 here though as it's one of my favourites from Kelly, it's a smooth r&b jam I'm always in the mood for. 17. Destiny's Child - Bootylicious - 8.083 (less 11s) On the flip side we now have a huge commercial smash from Destiny's Child's prime, Bootylicious. #1 in the US, #2 in the UK, this was huge and is rightfully this high in the results.

Now! That's What I Call Music | The Thread pt 5
Good for you? For some artists getting the added promotion of being featured on a compilation is a blessing as it has the potential to boost their fan base, for UK only acts this is even more exciting for them as Now is (or was) a major force in terms of compilation albums. UK acts will be happier as it extends their reach whereas acts from outside the UK don’t really give a damn. Travis Scott is included but I doubt he is even aware because it’s not important  It gets to a certain point where including your singles on a compilation doesn’t actually benefit you and the pure purpose of being included is to sell the album and make money for a company you are not affiliated with. Ari & Bieber / their label could have given Now the use of Stuck With U but it makes a lot of sense why: 1) Neither artist needs more outreach as they are both household names at this point; and 2) All it does by giving the song to Now is reduce the amount of money made from the song It’s also very very likely that a lot of artists don’t even know they are on these albums because they have no say. The rights to a lot of artists releases ultimately belong to their labels or managers

Dexton's Top 50 (07/07/2020) (Week 165)
Hey sergej! Tiny Indoor Fireworks is nice, maybe not as big as Instant History for me but it's nice enough! Thanks! Hey Mango! The Killers could become only the second artist this year to spend 4 weeks at the top before long! Black Parade has grown on me more & more, it could potentially challenge for #1 next week... Whoppa is great! The last Tinie song I enjoyed this much was Mamacita which was in a similar vein - I'd happily welcome more songs like this from him! Nea has snuck in after being bubbling under for a while, it's very catchy  The sample is very obvious though and considering how many other samples/interpolations are used in songs these days maybe this is a bit too much

20. Beyonce - Naughty Girl - 8.041 (less 9s) The fourth and final single from Dangerously in Love, here is Naughty Girl opening our Top 20. It became her fourth consecutive Top 10 hit in the US and further secured her name in the music industry. I feel this typically gets the least love out of the four singles from this album but I'm glad to be proven wrong with it out-doing both Baby Boy and Me, Myself, and I! 19. Destiny's Child - Independent Women Part I - 8.041 (more 9s) The soundtrack single for Charlie's Angels released in 2000, imo both this song and the movie are far better than what 2019 gave us! Indepndent Women Part I became a massive worldwide hit and was the first to feature Michelle Williams as the newest member of Destiny's Child.

30 Days of Doctor Who
Okay well I missed this somehow but I'll catch up to day... well it seems everyone is on different days so I'll go 18 like Klaus above  Day 1: Favourite episode from Series 1: Bad Wolf Day 2: Favourite companion: Donna Day 3: Favourite episode from Series 2: The Impossible Planet / The Satan Pit Possibly my second favourite series. There's Sarah Jane, theres Cassandra, theres a werewolf, even Love & Monsters isn't that bad just a bit silly. The only weak points for me are Fear Her (which is just a drag to get through imo, the setting/story/etc. are all nice but nothing really extraordinary to stop me skipping it on rewatches of the show) and The Girl in the Fireplace (for similar reasons although not as bad, the idea behind it is much better than Fear Her but still falls short of being very good). Every other episode I thoroughly enjoy and love watching, especially all 3 two-parters. Day 4: Favourite monster: Weeping Angels Day 5: Favourite episode from Series 3: Blink I very nearly put the three-parter here but it has to be Blink. I love the Weeping Angels and I love the stories where the Doctor takes backseat and the narrative is pushed by non-lead roles. Their introduction is terrifying to say the least and even in return appearances they are still a force to be reckoned with (although less so in each appearance tbf). Utopia and friends are great episodes also albeit possibly too long, having a three part story makes the whole thing over 2 hours long and it is a beast to get through sometimes. The reintroduction of the master was genius and bringing Jack back was equally as entertaining... it just could have maybe been an episode shorter (somehow, idk how I'm not a writer and this is a minor complaint). Donna is my alltime favourite companion but The Runaway Bride is my least favourite episode featuring her tbh Day 6: Favourite spin-off: Torchwood HOW CAN IT NOT BE TORCHWOOD? To be fair Sarah Jane is a superb tv show too, but Torchwood takes the cake for sure. The characters, the stories, everything about it is just incredible. To the point where I couldn't even tell you my favourite episode because they're all at least 8/10 for me. Children of Earth would be my favourite story of course but I feel that's kind of different. I'm even a big Miracle Day fan - it's silly and goes against canon in every way but as a standalone story it's incredible (maybe minus 2-3 episodes to be more succinct). Day 7: Favourite episode from Series 4: Turn Left Ugh you are killing me! I don't even know. This series completely spoils re-watches for me because nothing tops it. I spend series 1-3 skipping at least 2 episodes each low key just to get to series 4 faster then I speed through this, then basically give up rewatching because I know nothing gets any better. I mean... RIVER SONG... TURN LEFT... THE OOD... THE ADIPOSE... THE SLOW REVEAL OF HIDDEN PLANETS... like it's just perfection completely. The Doctor's Daughter is probably my least favourite just because it focuses too much on Martha when DONNA IS RIGHT THERE. Their relationship through this series was just spot on. No romance, no fooling around, just 'mates' :') I think Turn Left is my favourite... which may be an odd choice but above anything else I'm just a fan of the alternate timeline idea. The finale is spectacular though, as are Midnight and the library episodes. Day 8: Best planet to have been shown on Doctor Who: New Earth Maybe not the 'best', I'd maybe have to give that to Gallifrey, but I'd love to visit New Earth above any other  Day 9: Favourite episode from 2008-10 & 2013 Specials: The Waters Of Mars This took longer than I thought :') I'm now tossing up whether to watch The Waters Of Mars, Turn Left, or The Impossible Planet... or if I should start a rewatch
