Fortnight staying the top track for a while is assumed, and I think the title track will also lead in front of the other album songs sales wise. The next few aren't too far from each other though, we could have a few weeks of 3-out, 5-out, 3-x-7, etc. as different tracks overtake streaming but the OCC rules only allow the Top 3? :lol:

Watched Black To Black tonight I didn't know much about Amy's life besides the songs and briefly her issues with the media. I enjoyed the movie but it's not something I'll rush to see again. It felt very gentle and down to earth for the most part

So Fortnight is set to be #1, will Taylor also have #2 and #3? Hozier is still going strong so holding on to #2 is possible but we’ll see how Taylor tracks during the week

Im liking this more than anything else by her! I saw half of her opening act at TS Eras Sydney but wasn’t overly phased by her - the crowd was going crazy though which worked out as the food stall queues were short :lol:

Very random lol. I hope it actually takes off though, it’s the song that first got me into Noah before Stick Season got popular!

On first listen I prefer the second half, and they definitely feel like two different albums. The first I half-agree with what others have said. It’s a fair bit more Midnights than anticipated but more subdued for the most part. The second half of the album digs into more Speak Now / Red vibes I think. It still feels different to any of those but there is a key influence from her previous albums imo

Interested to see how this plays out! Obviously Spotify didn’t take off massively until the early-mid 2010s so almost if not all of these will be predated listens. Which 2000s songs have lasted the longest / feature mostly in throwbacks playlists :lol:

Lady (Hear Me Tonight) is an absolute classic, imo it’s one of those songs that won’t ever be improved on by any remix/sample I do like Whatever though but part of that is probably my indifference for Shakira. Her song is fine but it’s not something I’d ever choose to listen to by her (that spot is probably only reserved for Hips Don’t Lie). Both songs are okay but equally nothing special for me
