To be fair this doesn’t scare me too much. I didn’t enjoy Midnights at all at first, I gave it a couple listens but nothing really clicked for me until a few months had past. Now I’ll admit it’s not my favourite album but there’s some solid tracks on there that I highly rate I’ve managed to avoid any info about the leaks though and look forward to listening tomorrow!

He has so much potential but nothing in the last 3-4 years has really stuck which is a shame I remember in my personal chart back in the day he was a constant presence for about 2 straight years between singles, features, and album release. My chart is gone and apparently so has his success :(

Commercially speaking I’d say that Fortnight with Post Malone is most likely to be a single sooner rather than later. Any feature always helps an artist and Post Malone could draw a different audience appeal too. BUT that’s without hearing the song itself and it could be Snow On The Beach all over again lol. Or End Game fml But with it being Track #1 on a new album, having a big name feature, and not being a longer title I’d imagine it’ll draw the most streams on day/week one as well. A shorter/snappier title will be “easier” on the radio Beyond that, I have high hopes for Down Bad or Guilty As Sin?

Begs the question of who will be the next #1? Noah, Benson, and Hozier are all alternative/indie/folk with two out of three being fairly new names and the other being mostly absent from the upper reaches of the chart for a long time. Beyoncé is a huge name so that alone draws success. I’d say next week will be Too Sweet with ease and then Taylor the week after providing a song is pushed as a single on release. But that’s not guaranteed as Too Sweet is doing nothing but climbing :P

This is growing on me a lot tbh. Yes it’s another pointless sample but it’s possibly Guetta’s least obvious one of recent years, no? I mean, the original has a VERY distinct hook that I’d imagine pretty much everyone knows. Even if they don’t know it from the original song itself lol. It could’ve been David Guetta & One Republic - Ma Ya Hi after all :P

Every song here is either an absolute classic or a song I don’t believe I’ve ever heard, which tells me I need to listen to more 1979 songs :lol: I’d guess 65% of them I know, but shockingly I know only ONE SONG from Disc three so I’m pumped to listen to that the most. Fantastic job as always Extra love to Bat Outta Hell and Another Brick In The Wall :heart:
