Dexton

Aged like leftover milk in a bowl of Lucky Oats

All of those are great songs but each artist has way better ones besides Benson who has probably peaked with Beautiful Things (tho I’m happy to be proven wrong in time)

Dexlantis and we’re digging a very deep moat along the entire border

Torn between a spin-off from a reasonably well known UK band, a return of an origin act of a reasonably well known AU band, or completely flaking and forgetting to enter H-O in a nutshell Contemplating a nation name change too.. Dextonia? Dexeania? D-Block Dexope? Dexlantis?

I can’t be too mad at the songs remaining, but ATTTID is a masterpiece

New Romantics

Basically anything but the singles after CTTR It wasn’t a huge song but it did reasonably well, the album as a whole isn’t fuelled by single worthy songs like her previous albums

I missed a few so not a streak but here we go anyway April 4th - A song you like with a US state in the title: Vance Joy - Georgia Also thought of Stereophonics - Dakota, but that's not quite on the mark lol DQMbHNofCzw April 5th - A song you would have as your walk-on music: SNAP! - The Power For that darts throwback nm6DO_7px1I April 6th - A song you like that reminds you of a vacation: Rema & Selena Gomez - Calm Down I went to Bali early last year and I shit you not this song was complaining constantly everywhere. You don't know the true meaning of overplayed  WcIcVapfqXw April 7th - A song you like that is instrumental with no lyrics: Swedish House Mafia - Greyhound  HTRq3_KkuY4 30 Day Song Challenge 2024 April 1st – A song you like with a day in the title: Simple Plan - Saturday April 2nd – A song by someone who appeared on a TV Talent show: Samantha Jade - What You’ve Done To Me April 3rd – A song you like that makes you feel nostalgic: Thirsty Merc - Someday, Someday April 4th - A song you like with a US state in the title: Vance Joy - Georgia April 5th - A song you would have as your walk-on music: SNAP! - The Power April 6th - A song you like that reminds you of a vacation: Rema & Selena Gomez - Calm Down April 7th - A song you like that is instrumental with no lyrics: Swedish House Mafia - Greyhound Edit: Also just noticed my Day 1 nomination is already taken away so belatedly changing it just for me lol April 1st – A song you like with a day in the title: Simple Plan - Saturday tXQ8W-nehjY

She gets the writing credit for changing Blackbird to BLACKBIIRD

I started watching The Morning Show (renamed Morning Wars here in Australia because we have an actual morning show on the same platform as this ) Liking it so far though I’m only a few episodes in - I was surprised to realise it’s not a comedy considering those involved

Caution making Top 10 is great to see, I feel everyone has such great nostalgia for classic Killers songs and their newer stuff gets overlooked quite often

S.T.O.P on Listen had Ryan Tedder as a vocalist which I think counts, plus I wouldn’t be surprised if Ryan’s been involved in writing other Guetta songs at least those from the early 2010s Edit: On a quick search I actually found none besides S.T.O.P

Taylor Swift - Enchanted, always - Funnily enough this reminds of when Bastilles Wild World was released. Loved the album instantly and thought “Wow, Send Them Off is a great song it’s my favourite on the album.” Then by the end of the month it became a single  My favourite non-single then became Blame which, also, became a single a couple of months later. My THIRD favourite on the album, Glory, also became a single the next year. I’d settle for Warmth or The Anchor after that but wow what a fantastic album

Please don’t be in love with someone else

Late but what a stellar 2014 Top 10

+12 Ella Henderson x Rudimental - Alibi +10 Jax Jones x Zoe Wees - Never Be Lonely +08 Lost Frequencies x Bastille - Head Down +07 Becky Hill x Sonny Fodera - Never Be Alone +06 The Blessed Madonna feat. Clementine Douglas - Happier +05 Becky Hill - Outside Of Love +04 Nero - Blame You +03 Porter Robinson - Cheerleader +02 LF System - All I've Got +01 Justice - Incognito Not the most amazing start to the year but these are all good besides Lovers In A Past Life. I looove 99% of what Calvin puts out but this is so just meh I really can’t get behind it. I liked their last collab but this just doesn’t hit the spot tbh (albeit that too was my least favourite from that era of CH)

It’s about what you’d expect and nothing more lol, Natasha adds a little bit more life to the song but it’s kinda obvious it’s being released to piggyback off Unwritten. I’d be here for a return to the spotlight for Nat with some new material tho

Sat in a reception waiting for a lift to the airport, typing in another TS thread and Love Story (OG) comes on on the radio

This is cool. Temporary from April 7th to May 6th to support TTPD though Not the first time there’s been a Taylor Swift radio though, tune in to any Sydney radio station an before an Eras concert and it’ll be non-stop

Thirsty Merc - Someday, Someday IWnfnX6fqxE 30 Day Song Challenge 2024 April 1st – A song you like with a day in the title: The Cure - Friday I’m In Love April 2nd – A song by someone who appeared on a TV Talent show: Samantha Jade - What You’ve Done To Me April 3rd – A song you like that makes you feel nostalgic: Thirsty Merc - Someday, Someday

For some reason I read reality instead of talent… and then still said a talent show singer? I think it’s time for bed..

The first and probably one of the last times I watched The X Factor AU, this has become such a classic for me vQc3L0rl1cU Honorary mention to Joel Corry
