  4. Robbie Live In London RobbieWilliams.com http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af167/therobbiewilliamssiteukau/Picture1-120.png 14 Oct 2010 Robbie lit up London last night with an amazing performance at the intimate Supper Club in Notting Hill. The 400-capacity venue was packed to the rafters as Robbie belted out a collection of his greatest hits, including Let Me Entertain You, Rock DJ, Feel and Angels, and he was even joined on-stage by Gary Barlow for a fantastic rendition of their single, Shame. Those in the crowd lucky enough to get up close and personal with Robbie, including 15 winners from RobbieWilliams.com and their oh-so-grateful friends, were entertained by Robbie as he laughed and joked throughout the evening and threw in a handful of Take That songs for good measure too. What a night! Take a look at the photos below and then click here to take a look at the full collection… Magic Radio Show At Supper Club London On Wednesday, 13th October 2010, Robbie played an exclusive show at the very intimate Supper Club in west London to an audience of 400, made up of some extremely lucky winners from Magic 105.4 and RobbieWilliams.com. 5. ROBBIE WILLIAMS: HOW TAKE THAT WILL KICK JLS' CUTT The Star 15th October 2010 http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af167/therobbiewilliamssiteukau/Picture1-121.png ABOVE: Robbie Williams will get naked ROBBIE WILLIAMS has a surefire way to ensure Take That’s reunion album Progress beats JLS to No 1 next month – getting naked. The manband’s infamous debut single Do What U Like saw them flash their bums and get smeared with jelly in 1991. And now, as he heads to No 1 with his In And Out Of Consciousness: The Greatest Hits 1990-2010 package, the buff singer is feeling confident about kicking some butt. “If all else fails, nakedness in Trafalgar Square,” he grins when we meet up before an exclusive gig for Magic 105.4 at London’s swish Supperclub in Notting Hill. “We might have to get our arses out again. It’s going to be an interesting week. JLS are great. When my last album came out and I was No 2 and they were No 1, I gave them a bell and congratulated them. So if the reverse happens, they have my number now...” http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af167/therobbiewilliamssiteukau/Picture2-93.png ABOVE: Robbie Williams with Daily Star reporter Kim Dawson Looking fitter than ever, Robbie’s pulling out the big guns. He’s happy, handsome and revelling in his hits. This intimate Magic Presents Robbie Williams gig with Barclaycard Unwind was probably his last solo performance in a while as he focuses on the group, whose new single The Flood got its video premiere this morning at 7.50am on ITV1’s Daybreak. Lucky competition winners got to hear Robbie sing a section from the brilliant song at the gig, where he confirmed Take That are planning a 2011 tour he’s “not supposed to mention”. “It’s another chapter, a new chapter and the perfect ending – it’s a happy ending,” says Robbie about settling his differences with his old chums Gary Barlow, 39, Mark Owen, 38, Jason Orange, 40, and Howard Donald, 42. When Gary joined Robbie to sing their duet Shame on Wednesday night, it was clear they were having the time of their lives larking around, and the Take That tour is going to be the must-have ticket for next summer. Looking back on his solo material, the double CD release this week proves there’s more to Robbie than Angels. Feel and Supreme still sound as fresh as the day they first came out and while some didn’t get what Robbie, 36, was trying to achieve on his Rudebox album, tracks like She’s Madonna with the Pet Shop Boys paved the way for a lot of the electro pop in the charts today. Rob is stoked when I praise that song and admits: “I was a big fan of that tune, even if I say so myself. Reality Killed The Video Star and Rudebox came out and didn’t do as well as my old albums used to do, which disappointed me as there were a few great songs there that people missed. “Lovelight, She’s Madonna... they’re on this album and now hopefully they’ll find a proper home. It’s just nice full stop, 20 years in with this whole Take That thing on the horizon. “I seem to have settled a mental score with myself.” After selling 57million albums, seven of which were No 1s, and earning a place in the Guinness World Record books for the fastest ever ticket sales, Robbie is still Britain’s top solo male. Last year at the BRITs he won the Outstanding Contribution To Music gong . I expect to see Take That perform, and win, when the bash moves to London's O2 Arena in February. With a dressing room full of sushi platters and water, Robbie is living healthily and happily. Marrying gorgeous Ayda Field, 31, and hooking up with Take That again have done the trick in satisfying him. A&R man Tim Clarke told Music Week this week he expects another swing album from Robbie when his TT commitments are over. That’s news to him. "Not now Michael Bublé’s come on – he’s proper,” Robbie insists. “Mine would be a poor imitation of him. The swing thing was the pension fund but Bublé’s come and ruined that. I do love him though." You can’t keep the smile off Robbie’s face when he’s back discussing the band, though. I told him when I first heard The Flood it gave me goosebumps. “It’s epic,” he agreed. “It was noted that it sounds like Muse. I did have a word in Gary’s ear. Both him and I are big Muse fans. They do epic records but are crap at football – I played them the other week.” When it comes to high scorers, there’s no-one to rival Mr Williams. 7. Gary Barlow Surprises Robbie Contact Music 14th October 2010 http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af167/therobbiewilliamssiteukau/gary_barlow_1173184.jpg Gary Barlow made a surprise appearance at a Robbie Williams concert last night (13.10.10), where they performed their duet 'Shame' together. Gary Barlow made a surprise appearance at a Robbie Williams concert last night (13.10.10). The Take That singer joined his bandmate - who has recently rejoined the group after originally quitting in 1995, a year before the boy band split for the first time - onstage to perform their song 'Shame' from Robbie's new greatest hits album. An onlooker at the concert - presented by radio station Magic 105.4 and Barclaycard Unwind - show said: "It was such a surprise, we hardly thought Robbie could pull out any more hits after 'Rock DJ' and 'Angels', then all of a sudden Gary came on and it was amazing to see them both there onstage together, reunited. "I saw the last Take That tour, The Circus, without Robbie, and the atmosphere was amazing, but I think when all five of them appear together again it will be the most incredible show ever, I'll shout so loud I'll probably lose my voice - I can't wait." Robbie's hour long set at the trendy Supperclub venue in London's Notting Hill also included his hits 'Feel', 'No Regrets' and 'Come Undone', among others and was attended by 300 lucky competition winners and VIP guests including Geri Halliwell. source:contactmusic TRWS
  8. #2 this week in Ireland. I am pleased with that seeing as RKTVS only got to #6 :D
  9. aCHg5r6rFoI Good video. Goes well with the song and has made me like it even more. Nice and expensive looking and not half arsed. The shots towards the end of London and Westminster are pretty cool. :D
  10. Thanks - got it in Easons on O'Connell St. I asked a member of staff and they said they had never heard of it. Checked with the manager and he directed me over to the foreign newspapers section where it was on one of the shelves. There was only a handfull of them. It was over €7 and tbh after flicking through MW - without the Robbie book (which is of such high quality I would pay €30 for it alone) it is a very cheaply made and quite short magazine. But I suppose it is really a trade magazine for those in the music industry. Some interesting articles in it. Shame about Sir CLIFF being plastered over the front cover. I have been reading the book for the past hour. I still cannot get over how great it is. Such a huge amount of effort has been put into it and although fans will love it - the aim is obviously for people to look back on Rob's career as a study of how to build an enormously successful career and the overall brand. All the detail given by industry insiders is so interesting in general - even for those that don't like Rob but are just interested in the whole music business. I am loving the amount of credit Guy, Stephen and Trevor give him as a songwriter. There are loads of people in the book that go on about how talented he is at writing songs and how he thrives on the creative process. Interesting how the Duffster said they have 60 unfinished tracks and they are very adventurous. Would love to hear the results of them again. Working with Duffy was great for Rob, especially considering how much he encouraged Rob to write the music to the songs as oppose to just the lyrics and melody. It is so interesting to read about the creation of the tracks and how it was all done with the two of them jamming with the guitar and bass and keyboards. I bet Rob is very proud of IC and so he should be. It aint a standard pop album of loads of potential hit singles but rather a fantastic mature piece of work by a singer-songwriter. Was actually just listening to it there - still souding fantastic. The Trouble With Me
  11. JLS TARGET ROBBIE AND CO The Star PLANET pop’s hottest boyband JLS say their second album will be more risqué than their debut and see them dip in to dubstep. At next Wednesday’s MOBOs, my favourite foursome will give a hint of what to expect when they release Outta This World on November 22 and face Take That in the charts. The lads will be on the bill at Liverpool’s Echo Arena alongside Professor Green, 26, Tinie Tempah, 21, and Roll Deep. CLAIM AN ONLINE POKER BONUS OF UP TO $250! Oritse Williams told me: “Our mantra is to have as much fun as we can, so we’ll be doing that at the MOBOs. The topics we’ve talked about on the new album are more intense and the styles more risqué. “There’s some dubstep on there too. “We worked with Jay Sean on a track which is very hot and sexy – it has to be, doesn’t it? “It was all about pushing outside of the box, which we did with the help of Labrinth. I love that guy. “We’ve taken a few risks and integrated different styles we’ve never played with before. “Some of the songs are hopefully going to be listened to on the streets as well as the overground.” After collecting their first MOBOs last year, I expect JLS to come away with heavy arms again. And the acclaim means a great deal to the group, whose next single Love You More, out on November 15, is the official Children In Need release. Oritse, 23, added: “We’re very serious about our music but we’re aware there are preconceptions. “People think we’re manufactured, when it was me who put us together. “We’ve written every song on the new album bar The Club Is Alive. “Everything about this job is fun – the performing, book signings, meeting the fans. “We’re having the best time ever and are the best of friends – a proper team. “It’s like I truly have the best three brothers in the world.”
  12. Yeah he could do with coming up with some new jokes for the gigs. He has been using that one about certain songs 'used to be his Aunts fave song' and how she is not dead it just isnt her fave song anymore. He changed it a bit recently I think - something about her looking down on him but not being dead just very patronising  He loves that one  According to a fan on the OS who was at the gig in London last night - he was chatting about the XF and sang some of 'Mad World'. When he asked what the crowd thought of Cher - everyone booed  TAKE FAT AS ROBBIE MUSCLES IN The Sun ROBBIE WILLIAMS has been training four hours a day for four months to turn his keg into a six-pack. The singer was determined to get into shape and not look like the token fat lad when he lines up alongside his old TAKE THAT bandmates. He's been working with trainer NICKY HOLENDER, the man who helped whip MEL B into shape. Nicky said: "He's gone from being overweight and not looking so good to being an athlete. He's worked his a*** off." The former footie pro puts Robbie through his paces five days a week and went on holiday with him to continue their regime. He has even managed to persuade Robbie to cut down on chocolate. Nicky said: "He has become very careful about what he eats and in four months he now has a full six-pack going on. "All I'm doing is getting him to eat well and then he can have his sweet stuff on his cheat days. He has so much muscle." Nicky, an ex-Peterborough United and LA Galaxy footballer, is now turning his attention to wiping out Robbie's other major vice - smoking. He said: "It's the best thing he could do for his body. He's come such a long way now and done so well that quitting the fags would be the biggest goal." That will be tough - Robbie smokes like a chimney.
  13. I've PM'd you :D Did you not get the 3Disc CD version with the B-sides album? That has Long Walk Home on it at the end. The Queen is the B-side to 'Shame' 'Dogs and Birds and 'Email' are exclusive tracks for Itunes. I did hear that Australia are not getting the Ultimate Box Set version of the album till the end of the month or November. Is that true? It's expensive but well worth it. Brilliant presentation with a proper book of every lyric and of course 3 CDs with the B-side album, 2 DVD's with every music video and the Live in Berlin concert on DVD for the first time. :w00t: Is the swearing censored on the OZ version too? I am fuming about that tbh. Ridiculous decision. -_-
  14. I agree. Rob is loving it now, doing interviews and singing one or two tracks but he hates touring with a passion and if 50 dates is true than that is nearly as long as his 06 Tour. Granted it will be far less stressful for him as the entire show won't be on his shoulders like his solo gigs are - it will be a lot of fun being with the lads again I am sure but with that many dates there is the risk he will get bored and start to dread so many dates (and all the heard work). Hopefully not, but that would be a long tour and he might lose interest after the first 20 shows of doing the same show. I don't think he should take another break. He had already taken 3yrs to refresh himself. I do think though as his managers David and Tim have said, the TT reunion he made him passionate about writing again and he has his competitive boots back on which were not there with RKTVS and the promo - plus he has become far more confident compared to last year and much more relaxed in interviews etc so in that sense it is already a good thing and hopefully him gaining those things back will result in him being arsed to release solo albums again and be excited about the whole process like he used to be. You're probably more likely to blame Gary for any problems than most Rob fans are these days. :P
  15. Kath, those quotes are from his interview with Popjustice, which I have made a separate thread for. I am not surprised whatsoever about his comments about RKTVS. From the very beginning the promo was half arsed from Rob. A good 90% of the time in interviews he spent discussing TT, Ayda - he even spent more time discussing dogs than the album. There was very little discussion about the actual music, whereas with his previous albums he would harp on and on how it was his best album yet and talk lots about the music. He said in the interview with Neil Fox a few weeks ago that he loves RKTVS and is very proud of it but resents that he had to make such a commercial album when he really wanted to release another experimental record like Rudebox. As he explains in the PJ interview - when Rudebox happened with the backlash he was annoyed that the public said "No", so he felt he could not be arsed doing an album of what people did want. I love RKTVS but it was always obvious from the start he would rather have been somewhere else. At that stage he had already written the TT album with the lads so he had already moved on yet he had months of promo for an album containing many songs he had written years previously. Rob always gets bored very quickly and starts thinking about the next project. I am not surprised by his comments about wanting to retire early. He has achieved everything he possibly could and has nothing to prove, which is prob why he wants to go play with his mates as he says. But considering how TT's music is as commercial as it gets, by the time the tour is over I bet he will have a desire to release his own stuff again. Prob not straight away - he will take a break no doubt again but I certainly don't think he will never make another solo album of original songs.
  16. Robbie hopes to retire early The Sun WHILE most of us slog away until we need a zimmer frame, ROBBIE WILLIAMS was hoping to retire in his 30s. The gobby singer said he was would have quit music if it hadn't been for rejoining TAKE THAT. He said: "If it wasn't for the boys, I would probably be doing nothing because I quite enjoy doing nothing now. "It does feel like the end of one of the last chapters in the book and I do feel a bit spent to be honest with you. "I'm loving what's to come and I'm very excited being back with the boys, our album sounds amazing, I'm excited to do the tour and all that business... but I'm kind of still at a loose end figuring out what I want to do when I grow up." Alright for some. Rob, who let's face it, has had more ups and downs than a rollercoaster, quit the group back in 1995 and continued to fly solo when MARK OWEN, JASON ORANGE, HOWARD DONALD and GARY BARLOW reformed in 2005. The Angels singer even confessed he "couldn't be a**ed" recording his last solo effort Reality Killed The Video Star. He said: "It kind of was going through the motions, because I was all hyped up about doing Rudebox and going down that road and then everybody went, 'No!' "And because everyone had gone, 'No', I went, 'Well, OK, I can't be a**ed either.'" He added: "Knowing that my audience didn't like Rudebox left me thinking, 'Well, er, I don't know what to do now.'" Therapy, anyone !! Source..The SUN
  17. "It does feel like the end of one of the last chapters in the book" http://www.popjustice.com/images/stories/j/robbiewilliamslookingatyouart.jpg It's ROBBIE BLOODY WILLIAMS...[/b] So the Strictly performance with Gary was a bit of a moment. It was good, weren’t it?
You sound surprised that it was good. Is it a surprise for you when things go right? Um... No, but there was just a lot of warmth from the audience to be honest with you and, you know, rarely do you come off from doing a bit of promo where you feel like you’ve just done an hour and a half gig. There was something special about it. Came off, felt good. Felt like my old self again. It was cool. There was a point, just while the music was starting, and you were looking out to the crowd and there was a bit of a look in your eye. And you often have that look in your eye at moments like that. It looks a bit like panic. Was it? Yes. Panic. We did it twice – I’d forgotten the words the first time. Oh dear. Again? I had actually got 90% of them right. But you know, people just remember that 10% don’t they.
‘You kill one person’… Well yes. ‘You stick your dick in one arse, you’re gay.’ So you’re right, you spotted it. It was panic. Did you see Joe McElderry doing 'No Regrets' on The X Factor last year? I can’t remember. Basically it was amazing. What is the Toys R Us line in ‘Shame’ about? It was in another song that I'd written to be honest with you and I just thought it was a good line. The song was about a girl I was in love with when I was 16 and - sliding doors moment - your life changes and you go down different paths and she became who she became and I became who I became. The line in the other song was about somebody spraying ‘knobhead’ on my poster in the back of Toys R Us. I lost the song, can’t find it anywhere. But when me and Gaz came to light, it was lodged in my subconscious somewhere and I thought it was a good line so I put it in. It is a good line. Thank you. I enjoyed singing it, I think it’s a good line. The Robbie, Gary and Take That story has been going for twenty years but now you’re back with Take That it seems that there’s almost nowhere left for the story to go. You know how Only Fools And Horses was built around the idea that ‘this time next year we’ll be millionaires’, and they did become millionaires and it just didn’t work? [With hindsight a better example of this is when Roseanne won the Lottery but you get the point] Well. If it wasn’t for the boys, I would probably be doing nothing because I quite enjoy doing nothing now. It does feel like the end of one of the last chapters in the book and I do feel a bit spent to be honest with you. I’m loving what’s to come, obviously, and I’m very excited being back with the boys, our album sounds amazing, I’m excited to do the tour and all that business… But I’m kind of still at a loose end figuring out what I want to do when I grow up. The idea that you’re talking about the final chapter of the book and feeling spent seems like you might be heading towards some kind of last last hurrah. Just like Cher. A bit like Cher, yes. Listening through your greatest hits album obviously throws up a lot of the stages that you’ve been through but it also seems to conjure memories of how you’ve been received by others – it felt like at the start everyone wanted you to succeed, and you did, and it was briefly amazing, but that a lot of the last ten years have been about people wanted you, almost willing you to fail. That’s always been the case, that’s always been the case. It’s always been the case for me anyway. Possibly, but it feels more acute now, it’s feels like the process has accelerated now. Being a pop music fan, or a supposed fan, seems now to have become a blood sport in which small but significantly large groups of people, seem to hound artists down until they're just left there in a bloody pulp. And with you, particularly, people are far more interested in you when you’re failing. It’s been sped up with the advent of the internet and with newspapers going from having celebrities on page 7 thing having the celebrity thing [on the front page]. I think since communication have sped up, there have been a lot more avenues for people to be negative. You know, I don’t know whether to stay on the merry-go-round to wait for it to come back [to how it was before] or just pop off and go home. But what do you feel that you need to do? It sounds like you feel like you don’t need to do anything at the moment. But the best pop stars have an urge to do something. Do you have an urge anymore? Not at all, you know. Not at all. There is no… There’s no real burning or drive or ambition. You know, I’ll probably be a leap year artist from now on. Some of ‘Reality Killed The Video Star’ was good, but as an entire album it did feel there was a kind of lack of attention. Perhaps from you or perhaps from the people around you, but mainly from you. Rudebox clearly felt like you had a thing that you wanted to do and you were desperate to it and excited about doing it. That urge again. But then when they heard it, obviously, everyone went ‘this is $h!t, f*** off’. So is that why with your last album it felt a bit like going through the motions? Well it kind of was going through the motions, because as you know I was all hyped up about doing Rubebox and going down that road and then everybody went, “no”. But I didn’t want to do another ‘Come Undone’, or another ‘Angels’, or another ‘Road To Mandalay’ - you do find yourself sort of in the boggy marsh of then thinking ‘well I don’t quite fancy doing that any more’. And because everyone had gone, ‘no’, I went, ‘well, ok, I can’t be arsed either’. And you know, I did find myself capitulating and going, ‘well do they want THIS then’. It’s like this idea of knowing your audience – and knowing that my audience didn’t like ‘Rudebox’ left me thinking, ‘well, er, I don’t know what to do now’. Some people really liked ‘Rudebox’. It was a Popjustice favourite. I got a lot of people saying, ‘oh, it was critically and commercially a flop’, but critically I got more sort of thumbs up than I ever did for any other of my albums. So it’s all a bit confusing. The best bit of the ‘Rudebox’ album is the ‘The 80s’ and ‘The 90s’ sequence at the end. If you were to expand it to a trilogy, what would ‘The 00s’ be about? I don’t know, I'd have to sit down and map it out. The 2000s? It’s hard to know. I don’t think we know what the 2000s was or is - we only found out about the 80s when we left it. The 90s did its thing but it compared with the 80s it was a bit of a whimper. The decade we’ve just been through I think is a diluted version of the 90s. Or maybe I’m just getting older? I think the 80s were a lot of fun. I think that even though people were taking themselves very seriously, they did it with a sense of whimsy and brashness and a sense of being alive. These days everyone takes themselves seriously and they have to kind of dilute themselves into a corner cos they kind of listen to too many albums, read too many magazines are basically painting by numbers. Did you watch the new A-Team film? No. I watched it on the plane coming over the other night. And? It kind of, erm, nearly there but not quite. ‘Nearly there but not quite’ is a bit like saying ‘I got 90% of my lyrics right’. Yes. It’s always going to be that other 10%. There follows a sequence in which Robbie makes the quite unsubtle decision to start interviewing Popjustice about ‘life in general’. Since the subsequent chat, pleasant as it was, is clearly of little interest to The Internet, we’ve taken it out, but by the end of it we’ve got onto the topic of what Robbie describes as ‘a golden moment’ – that time in life when everything’s amazing and you’re firing on all cylinders and going out a lot and basically having an amazing time, or at least you think you are until later on when you calm down a bit and get a better idea of what it’s all about. From what we can make out Robbie seems to identify his golden moment as being at about the age of twenty. And then we say something like… …and you only really calmed down about three years ago, when you were 33… 33 wasn’t a golden moment. When you’re 20, you don’t know that you medicate yourself. By the time you’re 33, if you relapse into some of that same old behaviour, it isn’t a golden moment. It’s just f***ing illness. Are you still ill? No, not right now, no, I’m on good form. I’m an older guy. I feel healthy, I’ve been training, I’m looking after myself, I get up early. I look after the dogs. I’m happy. 18. What feed are you using? Here it has different info http://www.apple.com/euro/itunes/charts/top10albums.html  Shame is not doing too badly in Europe by the looks of it. Shocked at how high 'Heart and I' is on some charts. #44 in Italy and it is not even a single
  19. I have just bought this weeks edition of Music Week this evening and am so astonished by the quality of the free 168 page tribute book to Robbie that I think it deserves it's own thread. I urge everyone who can get it to do so. I am not sure if it available outside the UK and Ireland so it may be on ebay. I cannot emphasize enough how fantastic this book is. It basically goes through the entire of Rob's career, with the excellent Chris Heath interviewing dozens of the people who helped make it happen including Tim, David, Josie, Guy,Stephen and Trevor Hord (who all talk about Rob's songwriting and creating the albums in deatail), his music vid director Vaughn (who gives the stories behind every single video), Gary Nuttell, his touring team who go behind the scenes with every tour and the famous director Hamish Hamilton who talks about filming Rob's gigs. The interviews are very informative. Everyone from JF, the man who first signed him , to Jonny Wilks are interviewed and there are tones of brilliant photos. The book was put together by IE.Music so it is totally official. There are chapters dedicated to everything from the marketing strategy behind every album to his work with UNICEF, and also an entire chapter about his success in Germany and how he is the most successful touring artist of all time there. There are also loads of adverts for famous companies such as Volkswagen, Universal and loads of other well known sponsors all saying congrats. MW probably isnt the easiest thing to find but I really can't recommend this enough. It is the perfect way to celebrate his 20 years and makes up for 'You Know Me' book which is mainly pictures. My scanner is not working so I just took two quick pics of the cover and the contents. http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e272/handsomeman/P101013_214032.jpg http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e272/handsomeman/P101014_001827.jpg
  20. It's amazing isnt it Tess. Robbie domination as per usual after 20 Years. :D According to the Official Chart Company in the UK - IAOOC is outselling the rest of the Top 5 COMBINED. Not that I wasnt already sure it would be #1 on Sunday after 41K first day sales but now it is a definite. Even if no-one else bought it for the rest of the week it would still be #1 on Sunday. What a relief for him to finally get to #1 again and by such a massive margin. :D No point in giving updates from HMV, Amazon etc - as he is most certainly going to be #1. :smoke: He is currently the #1 in 10 countries on Itunes. :drink: Itunes updates: UK: #1 & #10 France: #1 Germany: #1 Austria: #1 Belgium: #1 Luxembourg: #1 & #2 Portugal: #1 Greece: #1 (it is #2 and #3 so it is #1 combined) Italy: #1 (ditto) Spain: #1 (ditto) Netherlands: #2 Australia: #2 Ireland: #3 Switzerland: #3 Sweden: #4 Norway: #5 Denmark: #6 Finland: #6 New Zealand: #7
  21. Williams expected to top chart Press Association (UKPA) – 2 hours ago Robbie Williams is on course to land his ninth No 1 album at the weekend. In And Out Of Consciousness, a greatest hits compilation of the last 10 years, is outselling the rest of the top five combined in the UK chart, according to the Official Albums Update. If he gets to No 1 on Sunday, it will be Robbie's first No 1 album since 2006 - when Rudebox topped the chart. The star will have racked up 15 official No 1s to date as a soloist across the singles and albums charts. Tinie Tempah and Cliff Richard are currently second and third respectively in the album chart. In the singles chart, new entry Joe McElderry's track Ambitions is on course for a top five hit but looks likely to be held off the first and second spot by Cee Lo Green's Forget You and Duck Sauce's single Barbra Streisand.
  22. De Niro posted a post in a topic in Television
Three of my all time fave TV shows. After watching several episodes now do you think it is worth watching? Don't want to bother if it is likely to be cancelled unless it is very good. -_-
  23. Well I doubt they would turn it down if offered. There are very few huge British music acts left who have not received it yet so I am betting TT get it. It would coincide with the 20th Anniversary of the first single too. Why would Rob get the Best Album? Do you mean they would give TT Best album due to Rob or that Rob's GH would get it (GH are never nominated are they? ). I personally reckon 'Shame' will win Best Single and why not?
  24. I agree. The 3CD version is the obvious choice. For a few extra euro you basically get 19 tracks never before released on a Rob album. I kind of envy the more casual fans who don't already have all the brilliant B-sides to now discover such fantastic tunes. Mind you - most of his best B-sides are left off but there are still loads of gems, many of which are vastly superior to a lot of the singles on Disc 1 and 2. I got the Boxset today in HMV. €60. I know I shoudl have got it online but I forgot and then was in HMV anyway. Love the presentation but sticked the CD on in the car on the way back to play in perfect quality and to my disgust - all the bad language is censored. Absolutely outrageous decision. Rob's always have always had swear words and lots of them, hence the warning on the front of them all. So why now beep them out? I will never listen to 'Come Undone' with 'Whore' and f*** and even $h!t beeped out. And the odd thing is the DVD with the vids has all the swear words without censorship. On a better note - Heart and I sounds AMAZING on CD up loud
  25. I assume you mean the MW tribute? No I have no, but I rang up Easons today and was told they are getting in MW tomorrow so I will try and get it then. It sounds fantastic though. 168 pages with loads of interviews and chart facts - just what I love. I am more interested in getting that than I am getting the official book 'You Know Me'. A Shame really - I had been looking forward to a follow up to 'Feel' for all these years but a book of mainly pictures comes along with seemingly very little interesting said (there is virtually no discussion about the content around the forums). So this MW book will keep me pleased :D Tbh I never realised you could buy Music Week in the shops - I always though you had to subscribe and become a member to get the magazine. :o
