The Official Top 20 Best Selling Robbie Singles in the UK
Next is the 3rd single from Escapology - a very catchy pop song but not one of my faves. Rob and Guy originally wrote it for Tom Jones but decided to keep it - don't think he likes it very much though - didnt perform it on the 2003 tour and left it off the 04 Greatest Hits. 19. The Official Top 20 Best Selling Robbie Singles in the UK
Starting off the countdown at #20 comes the 1997 classic Lazy Days - an epic soaring anthem that is highly underrated. Great atmospheric video but here is the classic Slane Castle performance. 20. Lazy Days Sales: 80,000 Peak: #8 Live From Slane Castle YR0tGi2LnLc

The Official Top 20 Best Selling Robbie Singles in the UK
We haven't had a countdown on here in what must be years. Recorded the Official Top 20 Singles by Rob on VH1 last night - they gave rough sales for each single which was great to see - pretty up to date as well it seems so I thought I'd do a countdown but with Live performances instead of the vids. We all know what is #1 but there are some surprises along the way - and many classics not even in the countdown. :o You can make predictions and comments along to way :smoke: Before we start here is the singles that missed out. Didnt include them as the figs are only estimates of updated figs and not part of the countdown. 21 - Robbie Williams = Rudebox :: 80k 22 - Robbie Williams = Let Love Be Your Energy :: 80k 23 - Robbie Williams = Advertising Space :: 70k 24 - Robbie Williams = Lovelight :: 70k 25 - Robbie Williams = Come Undone :: 65k 26 - Robbie Williams = South Of The Border :: 45k 27 - Robbie Williams = Misunderstood :: 40k 28 - Robbie Williams = Sexed Up :: 35k 29 - Robbie Williams with Pet Shop Boys = She's Madonna :: 30k 30 - Robbie Williams = Sin Sin Sin :: 25k 31 - Robbie Williams = Morning Sun :: 25k Thanks to Haven

Nice bit of free advertising if you can get it....
Shoes and Eggs were reportedly thrown in Blair's direction this morning - nothing hit him though. Story in full here http://www.rte.ie/news/2010/0904/blairt.html Also for anyone interested you can watch the full LLS interview here http://www.rte.ie/player/#v=1079720 Pretty sure it works outside Ireland. Beware though Jedward come on after Blair and state that the interview was "serious with a capital S"
-
Nice bit of free advertising if you can get it....
He just finished his interview on the LLS. The host, Ryan Tubridy is a poor interviewer with a reputation is acting quite childish and repeating the same question over and over - he did the same here - spent ages asking really easy questions and then tried to trip Blair up. Blair is too much of a political heavyweight and intellect to be tripped up by an entertainment show host. It was an embarrassing interview and even though it was perhaps a tougher interview than the BBC Marr one, Blair actually came out looking better due to Tubridy's lack of interviewing skills. He has a long history of have embarrassing interviews (most notably with Richard Dawkins last year). I did find it interesting that Blair wasnt aware that his children have Irish passports though.

Book - You Know Me
I'll be getting the normal book - 100 quid is a lot for what is essentially just paper with pictures and text. The only reason I'd think about getting it is because due to only 1,000 being issued - it will rise in value and could be sold for a far greater amount in years to come if kept in mint condition.

Robbie - Twickenham SEPT 12th 2010
I'd love if Rob and Tom sung a duet together - seeing as it will be Rob's last solo performance for quite some time something really memorable and electrifying such as the follow up to the legendary Brits performance would be brilliant. Would love to hear them sing their duet of 'Are You Gonna Go My Way' live on stage - or a duet of 'It's Not Unusual' during Tom's set - Rob did a cracking cover of that in Slane. Doubt it will happen but you never know. There will prob big some sort of singalong at the end anyway - there always is at these events - generally a song by the headliner - so Angels perhaps?
-
Book - You Know Me
Don't think it is signed - but surely the gold-sprayed page edges and a ribbon marker make it worth the £100 (yeah made a mistake with the 1K I previously posted  ). Really looking forward to this though - I'd prefer a full written book but I supose this is a good idea for getting through the whole 20 years. I am sure it will be great - 'Feel' remains one of the most fascinating books written about any celeb I have ever read. Chris Heath is such an excellent writer imo.

SEPTEMBER News
Lionel dropping Rob's name for publicity imo - I was shocked to see he has reduced himself to do a new advert for bloody Walkers crisps. Surely he doesnt need to do that? I wouldve thought he was one of the richest pop stars in the world. It's a shame really and makes him look desperate. He is a great songwriter though - if Rob wants to continue down the MOR road giving Lionel the duet he wants could be the makings of another 'nice' ballad. :D

Bloomin' Ayda The Sun http://img.thesun.co.uk/multimedia/archive/01118/SNF03BIZAYD-280_1118141a.jpg ROBBIE WILLIAMS and his missus AYDA have been out on the town in London for the first time since their wedding last month. Robbie, who has rejoined TAKE THAT, escorted his leggy bride for dinner at Locanda Locatelli in the West End. And actress Ayda looked blooming sensational in a short lace dress. http://img.thesun.co.uk/multimedia/archive/01118/SNF03BIZROBB-380_1118137a.jpg I'm glad to say Rob changed out of an earlier outfit, a nice denim jeans and jacket combo he is pictured in here. The newlyweds, who tied the knot at their Beverly Hills mansion, are holed up at a Soho hotel. Robbie has also revealed some of the tales which will be in his new book, You Know Me - out later this month. It features stories from the last 20 years, as well as photos and doodles from his private collection. He talks about 1996 as "the wasted year... I did everything because I could, and there was nobody there to tell me no". Robbie also opens up about Glastonbury in 1998, Knebworth five years later, his breakdown in 2006, finding happiness with Ayda and relaxing with his dogs. He confesses that he loves his body and that: "If I had an extra inch I'd be naked all the time." A bit too much info, Robbie. It will be a similar glossy hardback to his first autobiography, Feel. The next few weeks will be expensive but rewarding for Robbie fans. New single Shame, his duet with Take That pal GARY BARLOW, is released next month. That's followed by his new Greatest Hits album, In And Out Of Consciousness: The Greatest Hits 1990-2010. Then finally there's the new Take That album coming out in time for Christmas. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...-the-town.html

Nice bit of free advertising if you can get it....
B-Liar is coming over to Dublin today to appear on the Late Late Show tonight and will be signing copies of his book in the city centre tomorrow morning. There is outrage here as according to reports it is going to cost the tax payer at the very least €10,000 for extra police, several helicopters that his team asked for despite him having over half a dozen armed guards with him anyway (no doubt payed for by the UK Taxpayer - I read it costs them over £7 a year for his protection). People who want to go go into Easons in the morning will have to go through a security check and leave their items there beore going in - as well as that a section of O'Connoll St will be closed meaning the stall holders will have to close without getting any compensation. There is expected to be huge protests outside with groups planning a citizens arrest (Scott you should go along :P ) It really is outrageous that he gets all this free publicity at the tax payers expense to flog his lies further. And it's funny how he picked interviews with two people who are hardly going to truly tackle him on Iraq - Andrew Marr and Ryan Tuburty (LLS host). Why not someone like Jeremy Paxman? I noticed during the Marr interview how quick Blair was to say Iran should be next to take Military action against. As Donald Trump said on Dave Letterman the other night all the invasion has done is ensure that due to them taking away the balance from Iraq, that once the troops fully leave some Anti-American country, most likely Iran will take over Iraq and it will become far worse and more dangerous than it was under Saddam.

Robbie - Twickenham SEPT 12th 2010
I only just saw this Sparkle - delighted you are going  :yahoo: To answer you question I am nor sure if he will sing that many - but if he does it will be in a BRITS-style medley with two or three sung in full (Shame will def be sung in full). I am sure he will get 20 minutes or more - although thinking about it now he might not sing Bodies seeing as the lyrics might not be appropriate for the event :( I hope he opens with a full version of LMEY and wakes everyone up just like he did at Live 8. Glad Tom Jones has been added - finally another serious 'big name'. Shame there are no bands though - doubt most soldiers will be hugely into most of the girl groups - well their music anyway. :P

Book - You Know Me
Rob's loving Tesco instead The Sun ROBBIE Williams has put the success of his new autobiography in the hands of Britain's biggest supermarket chain, Sun City can reveal. TESCO has signed an exclusive deal to be the only store in the country to sell the Take That star's book You Know Me. The deal means Tesco has sole rights to the autobiography of the Angels singer in the run-up to Christmas. The tie-up lasts for six months from September 20. More than 250,000 books are expected to be sold in store or online - at a tenner a pop. Experts claim Tesco could be making as much as 10 per cent a copy. Neill Denny, editor of THE BOOKSELLER, said: "The publisher will have obviously thought this will maximise market share. "That remains to be seen - but it's a significant deal." Tesco has previously struck exclusive deals on CD and DVD releases. But this is its biggest yet for a must-have hardback. The supermarket giant claims it can give more marketing muscle to products it has on an exclusive basis. It typically grabs 25 per cent of the sales of any high-profile book release such as Harry Potter. But the Robbie deal could enrage High Street booksellers who are already being pushed to the brink by the might of online players such as AMAZON as well as by supermarkets. Robbie's new book is his second autobiography and is expected to be in huge demand with his millions of fans. It contains 250 photos from his private and public lives. The book recounts key moments over the last two decades, including Robbie's breakdown in 1996 and his reunion with Take That. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/...iness-news.html

New album in 2010 and tour to end in Dublin
According to Atu2 - http://forum.atu2.com/index.php/topic,13316.0.html Very exciting if true - Bon claimed they have 4 albums on the go so one being released this year makes sense. ^_^ The tour to end in Dublin is ideal tbh - Aviva Stadium perfect or of course Slane next summer or September for the 30th Anniversary along with Glasto around the same time. ^_^
