  1. Just a reminder 'Shame will be played in the morning on the horrid Chris Moyles with both Rob and Gary in the studio for a chat. The video will then be on the Official site and apparently on the TV channel 'The Box' every hour from 8am. Anyone else find this strategy a bit odd? The single AND the video being released on the same day with Rob and Gary on several radio shows promoting despite the fact that it isnt out for another SIX week? Surely by the time it's out everyone will be sick to death of hearing it on the radio?
  2. I bet this will still be going on by the time Rob releases his next studio album and who knows when that will be  Morning Sun 19- Bodies 29 Blasphemy 14 Last Days Of Disco 30+ Difficult For Weirdos 21 Superblind 16
  3. No it's changed to Thursday now. Chris Moyles are talking about it during the week and said he was trying to decide which question to ask Rob and Gary first - it was between 'Are you lovers'? and 'Who is richer?' The funny thing is though everyone on his show all agreed that Gary would be the richer of the two - further proof (not that we needed it mind you) how delusional the public are to Rob enormous success globally - afterall Gary is worth around £30m whereas Rob is on £130m (prob more at this stage as that fig was from Forbes a few years back). These people really have no clue how huge Rob is and has been worldwide from the past 15 years. Anyway I bet Gary Nuttall is delighted his self-penned track 'Often' is on the B-sides disc of the GH - that will be some extra unexpected royalties coming his way - also with the Duffster with the Postcard. I wish EMI let the fans choose the B-sides though as it truly is missing out the majority of the best ones. One has to wonder who's decision it was to choose those tracks - I mean why on earth is Elastic on there? Prob only because it's the most recent B-side but consdering the sheer volume of amazing B-sides that are missing it's a bit annoying tbh. -_-

  5. Ok so basically rank Rob's eight studio albums along with a list of your top 5 fave songs from each release. When there is enough I will add them up and post the reults along with the top 5 from each album. :smoke: Oh and btw if you decide to put SWYW down for either Sing or Swing make sure you indicate which one it is as it could get confusing ^_^ Life Thru A Lens I've Been Expecting You Sing When You're Winning Swing When You're Winning Escapology Intensive Care Rudebox Reality Killed The Video Star
  6. A truly appalling list tbh - no Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, The Smiths, Chilli Peppers, The Clash, The Kinks, The Who - but yet Jedward, Pest$h!te? Perhaps this shoulve been split up between proper bands and pop groups in order to separate the manufactured from the proper artists/musicians? I could only manage 20 - only 10 made it from my original list and the other 10 are bands I like but don't love. 1. U2 2. The Beatles 3. Bruce Springsteen & The E St Band 3. Oasis 4. Led Zep 5. 7. Huh? Don't the people who write this stuff realise that Rob has over 70 B-sides/Rare songs from soundtracks etc? Wouldve been great if they included all 70+ though on an mp3 cd so people could just put them on their computer - besides most modern CD players and cars play mp3 cds.

  10. De Niro posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
Robbie was extremely unlucky with Bodies missing the top spot, same goes for RKTVS. Sales of both wouldve been #1 in most other weeks. I definatly think 'Shame' will be #1 regardless of it's quality. Afterall there is little chance it's going to be alienate many people by being some electro/dance type of track - it will most likely be a big bloody ballad. But considering the first week sales of Rob's last lead single Bodies was 89,238, and TT's last lead single 'Greatest Day' was 70,302 then with with a good portion of both fanbases combined along with good promotion and good radio airplay (both virtually guaranteed) it's a dead cert for the top spot imo. Would be hilarious if it failed to do so though.
  11. As a taster for the Berlin DVD here is my favourite performance of the gig - the fantastic - A Place To Crash. Prob one of my fave performances ever by Rob. :yahoo: rjV75OlRxCk Glad to see they are including the full gig (ie. including No Regrets which wasnt on TV). His voice was fantastic that night especially on Ghosts which was an epic opener. Btw just wondering if the B-side 'Nobody Someday' is still just the demo version or if he actually finished it? So much to look forward to :w00t:

  13. Disgusting :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: Btw as Jackie on TRWS noticed the monstersandcritics article on this puts it in a very unusual way, one I have never heard before and one that is bound to p*** off TT fans. 'Singer Robbie Williams and his band Take That are set to perform and act as mentors on The X Factor, reports say.' http://www.monstersandcritics.com/people/n...ors-on-X-Factor
  14. ROBBIE SIGNS FOR X FACTOR the Star 13th August http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af167/therobbiewilliamssiteukau/Picture1-87.png X FACTOR boss Simon Cowell has landed Take That in a major coup over rival show Strictly Come Dancing. The band, with Robbie Williams back on board, will not only perform on the show but will also act as mentors. But the stars are no strangers to X Factor. Newlywed Robbie, 36, went on the show last year. He mentored acts such as Olly Murs, 26, and Joe McElderry, 19, and sang his comeback single Bodies – though the pop star will probably want to forget his live performance. His stage entrance flopped when the sliding doors failed to open, he missed his cue to the start of the song and fans thought he looked “wide-eyed and sweaty’’. Take That, featuring Gary Barlow, 39, Mark Owen, 38, Jason Orange, 40, and Howard Donald, 42, were special guests back in 2008. Gary and Mark were mentors to the likes of Alexandra Burke, 21, and JLS and the group came on a live show and performed Greatest Day. Now Cowell, 50, has persuaded the whole reunited band onto the forthcoming new series. They are due to have a new single and album out when X Factor goes into its live shows in the latter part of the year. A show source said: “X Factor has landed the ultimate trophy by getting Take That. “We know the BBC wanted them for Strictly. But we’ve beaten them to it. “If the boys had gone for Strictly, they’d have been singing while a bunch of dancers pranced around them on the show. “At least with X Factor they can use their musical expertise to help the acts. source: The Star TRWS

  17. Gotta say I am delighted with this and shocked. Ok I was never going to agree with what was chosen for a B-sides album (especially anyone that doesnt include his best ever B-side 'Average B-side') but this is a bloody amazing package and one I never thought EMI were capable of compiling. Talk about career defining - the whole thing is epic and the book looks fantastic. The live in Berlin DVD will also be great to see - have always loved that gig (although as I already have it on DVD Id have perfered a gig from the CE tour such as Argentina or Brazil but that is me being picky). Overall it is fantastic and I am delighted to see such classics as My Culture, Toxic, Get A Little High, Coffee, Tea & Sympathy, One Fine Day and Don't Say No included. I wonder how they chose them? Tbh I think a poll on the OS wouldve been better if they were going to the trouble of it - then classics such as Average B-side, United, Berliner Star, Come Take Me Over, Rolling Stone, Love Cheat, Ugly Love, Big Beef, Chemical Devotion - I could go on all night but even though they left out most of the best B-sides and opted for some of the most fogettable instead it is still great and I cannot wait to get my hands on the box set. :D

  19. PLay have the details up of the B-side CD - It has 'My Culture' Sadly it misses out TONES of the classic B-sides (most of the best ones actually) and even including the horrid Lonestar Rising and even Elastic - but the good news is we get another new song (let's hope it aint another one written with Gary) called 'Long Walk Home' and there is also a missing track at #19 so possible another new one. 23. I don't think so - it appears to be a lamp of some sort. Very odd looking anyway  I agree with you - there is not a hope in hell Rob wouldve done this 5 years ago - Ayda has most defiantly tamed him a lot. I also think the media backlash after Rudebox and the following years made him tone down his behavior, appeared very reserved in interviews (and got an old fashioned comb over) and become much more normal and made him 'play the game' so to speak which he never did previously. He has grown up a lot but tbh it is a shame in a way.I don't doubt he still has that edge and quirkiness about him but he definatly has tried hard to hide it since the comeback. Great to see the photos and how happy they are but I really didnt expect him to do that. Most superstars don't sell photos like that (Ok some do like Brad and Angie) but it's generally people like Jordon and Peter Andre so it's pretty tacky to go with OK or HELLO mags. He has done it before though for friends - I recall he actually married two friends years ago and gave all the profits fromt he mag deal as a wedding present. He has was in the pics for Jonny Wilkes wedding - but I definatly didnt expect him to do his own. I also never expected him to get back with TT either so obviously he has changed hugely - mainly for the better as a person as is evident from how happy he is, even if it may not be very'cool'
