Waffling Out Of Consciousness
I did. I watched a bit of it and loved how seriously they take their music. I heard Kian (who is so arrogant - the others seem sound enough) claim that they have begun to take a huge interest in the creative process - leading us to believe they wrote the songs. But no - he then went on to say something along the lines of "We have become very fussy - and learned how to say no. 'No' we are not doing that cover version - this cover version is far better" Perfect summing up of the anger of Irish people regarding the economy. Love the end. Pu3IT1kGavE

Robbie & all things Take That
I don't know how I am turning it into a Robbie V Gary battle - I actually said Gary should have more leads. I was just saying how much I would like to hear Rob's full version of 8 Letters at some point. On Oasis's last album there was an alternative version of one of the tracks as a bonus song with Noel singing it. Perhaps a future deluxe release if not a B-side? You are right though - it's not commercial enough to be a single. The only way I can see it being released is fool people into thinking there are loads of other ballads but seeing how well the album is doing there is no need. It would be 'I'd Wait For Life' all over again - too slow and not radio friendly enough to make an impact. Singles should be Kidz, SOS and possibly Happy Now or Wait. All of those tracks have been mentioned as possible second singles so it would appear they are the only ones being considered for future release.

Bodies got to #3 and the GH #2 so he shouldn't moan. You Know Me didn't make the top 20 and Shame made #8. I am shocked he is even aware of a dip in popularity in Ireland though. I didn't think he would pay attention. He is probably right though - if even half of those 82K from Croker are annoyed about no free gig then that is a lot of less records considering how small our sales are in Ireland. I really doubt most people have the time to protest about such things though. -_-

It could have worked brilliantly in TT's favor.

The prop was going to be used by backing dancers dressed as cops until Simon Cowell banned the band's "inappropriate" routine after last week's student demo. http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af167/therobbiewilliamssiteukau/Picture5-49.png Meanwhile Robbie Williams wife Ayda Field, 31, stole the show backstage on Sunday night by wearing thigh high boots and a stunning black outfit. source: thesun.co.uk

Take That and Robbie X-Factor tonight
Are Take That fulfilling their dream to Rule The World? Band take over the TV as they perform on X Factor AND Strictly Come Dancing in one weekend Daily Mail http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2010/12/13/article-0-0C75907D000005DC-217_468x286.jpg They are arguably the most famous band in the world at this moment, enjoying renewed success after Robbie Williams rejoined the group. But this weekend Take That decided to take over our televisions as they performed on both X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing. As well as the band performing on Strictly both Saturday and Sunday nights, Robbie joined forces with One Direction on The X Factor on Saturday, before taking to the stage once again for a performance with the band on last night's X Factor final. And their choice of songs didn't vary too widely either, as they performed The Flood on Strictly on Saturday and X Factor last night, before mixing it up with a rendition of Back For Good on Strictly on Sunday night. And after their astonishing schedule this weekend, fans took to Twitter speculating where the group would pop up next. One wrote: 'Are Take That gonna be on Match of the Day as well? What about Desperate Housewives? Snooker?' While another tweeted: 'Just waiting for Take That to make an appearance in the snooker final!! Well they've been on everything else this weekend-why not?!???' A further viewer wrote: 'Also, Take That will make appearances on the News At Ten, the Snooker, Sky Sports News, Celebrity Juice, BBC News 24 and Cbeebies!' But not all of Take That's performances this weekend were without controversy. It is claimed that the band were keen to be accompanied by dancers dressed as riot police as they performed their new single Kidz on last night's X Factor final. However, Simon Cowell was thought to have been less than impressed with the idea, telling the group the costumes were 'inappropriate' in light of clashes between students and the authorities over university fees last week. A source told The Sun: 'When Simon found out about the riot cop fear he was upset. 'For him, The X Factor is an entertainment show pure and simple. It's about people having a good time - it's not about politics. 'He thought it wasn't on. He told Take That it was insensitive and inappropriate and asked them to change things. 'Take That might be a huge band, but when it comes to the X Factor, Simon calls the shots.' So the boys decided to leave the dancers and opted for an energetic performance of their single The Flood. The band - Robbie, Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Mark Owen and Jason Orange - have been working hard to ensure their new album Progress is a huge success. And their hard work has paid off, as the album was named the fastest-selling record for 13 years. Now it has been announced that the group will be performing as one of the headlining acts at the BRIT Awards 2011 at London' s O2 Arena on 15th February. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/artic...ng-weekend.html The usual ignorant as f*** Daily Mail readers treat us to their views yet again, in the most factually incorrect and ignorant manner possible. Never fail to dissapoint on the ignorant front just like the paper itself :D

Yeah Gaybo is a legend - the Irish Parky and then some. He is well into his 70's now but still does one off specials and also a interview show with celebs called 'The Meaning Of Life' which is interesting. He also has a radio show each Sunday. Certainly busy for a man of his age. He is sorely missed on the Late Late Show though - and has been since he left. He is totally full of himself though and isn't afraid to let people know how great he is and what he has achieved. He is well know for talking down to people and appear very patronizing even if he doesn't intend to be  Interesting on that great FM104 interview - when asked why Gary got to sing 'Eight Letters' Rob said it was because they had finished recording the album and realised Gaz had no leads so he ended up singing that song. I still don't see why there isn't another 2-3 songs on the album - even though i'm not a fan of his voice it is silly for Gary to only have one lead. I would love to hear Rob's version in full though - he sounded so brilliant on it and put so much passion into the delivery. Maybe it will be a single at some stage and there can be an alternative version as B-side.

When did he say no-one buys his records? In fairness the interviewer brought up the free gig. I am sure Rob would rather it was never mentioned again

Robbie & all things Take That
Another Irish radio interview. This time on FM104 with Rob and Mark. Really funny this one. Rob is taken up on the famous free Irish gig - goes through the gig again and what went wrong but then insisted he will definatly do it - but it can't be a one off and will have to be when he does his next tour. Only another decade or so to wait in that case :D  Scroll down http://www.fm104.ie/music/podcasts-list.as...a5-66b99e5139c8

Robbie & all things Take That
Just Gary, Howard and Jason. Listen back http://www.rte.ie/podcasts/2010/pc/pod-v-1...icktakethat.mp3 Was listening this morning to a different show on that channel now and they have just finished discussing the XF last night. Someone text in to say how great Robbie was on the LLS and XF and how he had got his mojo back. The female XF 'expert' said she wasn't sure about him being back and how he had taken over the band and was the leader of the pack which she wasn't comfortable with. She said he was a loose canon and claimed everything was about him. When the host said it was all about the money - she said TT were making a fortune without Robbie and it was him who needed money. You really do have to laugh. If you combine the weath of Gary, Mark, Jason and Howard and DOUBLE it it still doesn't reach Robbie's wealth (at least £130M - sadly The Sunday Times Rich List has lost all credibility in recent years. I remember Rob made £30M for the 06 tour personally, plus £10m+ for IC and Rudebox - yet the ST only put him up by £5M - a total joke. Then they brought him down by £25m the year before last randomly - I expect next year's edition to take another 10m off his tally for no apparent reason) and yet he needs money? None of them need money but Rob certainly doesn't. She then went on to complain about Howard and Jason not being part of the LLS interview. The host then said "what would you ask them? Nobody cares about Howard and Donald". I was expecting her, being an 'expert' to correct him and tell him it was Howard and Jason but no.

Take That and Robbie X-Factor tonight
I know - who would have thought TT being controversial? :o Essentially being banned from performing a song due to student protests/riots - who would have thought it? It could become a student anthem throughout this whole college fees mess :o  So does this mena the video for Kidz will have riot police etc? You would think the song was written about the current student fees protests - with lyrics such "There will be trouble when the Kidz come out" and "Kings and Queens and Presidents/Ministers of Governments/Welcome to the future of your world" - so apt :D Simon loves controversy but there would have been a massive media backlash against the show and TT.

Take That and Robbie X-Factor tonight
Hmm - even though I was really annoyed to hear The Flood AGAIN - it was tilll great promo in front of a peak of 19.4M and a stronger performance than the first time on the XF. It has shot put the charts again to #8 so not a waste of time. I still don't get why they didn't perform SOS or Kidz (The Sun cannot make their mind up can they?) without dancers? Rob has well and truly got his mojo back. It's great to see him progress (no pun intended :teresa: ) since the first XF performance. He is so much more comfortable and confident now. I enjoyed the part where he broke away to sing the last big note right in front of the judges and then when Simon started clapping he just shrugged his shoulders. Typical Rob  And then when he broke away again to shake hands with the judges Dermot said something like ""oh there he goes, the wild card". Great to see his support for Wagner too. :P

Progress Album
Over 200K sold. Total at least 1.1M sold - it will easily sell 300K this week - and at least 200K the week after that. Frankly 2M sales before the end of the year is not out of the question but I'd say around 1.8 MAX.

Take That and Robbie X-Factor tonight
Bloody hell - I was all geared up to see SOS live and it was The Flood AGAIN? Has the same song been sung twice on the XF before? Ridiculous and lazy. Granted Ill admit it was the best performance of the Flood overall so far. They were all on top form. I don't think a single has ever been performed so much on TV shows. How odd that Rob went down to shake hands with the judges - and even had a chat with Louis Walsh - and all when the other TT lads were still on stage. I'd love to know what he said to Louis considering the bad blood? Perhaps something along the lines of "Our album is #1 for a forth week - is it really true that Westlife's album only spent one single week in the top 10?" :P Well done to Matt - the best guy won. Would have prefered 1D to win as they are perfect to win and be molded into what Simon Wants. Matt is more of an individual and Cowell may ruin his career with covers. EDIT: It has been revealed that TT were indeed all set to perform SOS but had to pull it last minute as they had planned dancers dressed as riot police which producers felt was inappropriate for obvious reasons. Why they couldn't just come out and sing it with just the five of them like on the Flood is beyond me. Anyone find it odd there were no other special guests? Last year Macca and George Michael performed - this year it was just TT (twice in one night) - would have loved Rob to perform solo too but I suppose that would be an overload for non-fans. He has been so dominant on the XF since his comeback last year. A total of SEVEN performance on the XF. I'm also amazed Westlife were not on to perform. Or Joe. Westlife's album is under-performing hugely (single out of the top 60 after only four wks) and they are on Simon's label and managed by Louis. And Joe is flopping badly. It's refreshing to see Simon not promote his own labels acts for the final.

Take That and Robbie X-Factor tonight
I know I shouldn't have but just looking on DS and while the slagging isn't on it's usually high level - people still saying Rob was on drugs and out of tune. YAWN  One thing that really annoyed me was the amount of comments saying the likes of "Since when is Robbie an international superstar?" and "Since when does being big in the UK only make you an international supstar?" - it really annoys me when so many people make statements despite knowing absolutely nothing about the subject at hand. It's pure ignroance pure and simple and I blame the UK tabloids for people having such incorrect opinions. I bet they would be shocked to know that Robbie is the third biggest selling star internationally of the century - Rihanna and Xtina not even top 30. People really have no idea how massive Robbie is and it's quite annoying to put it mildly. <_< Some pics thanks to TRWS At least One Direction were having an enjoyable time Posted by: 3am11/12/1009:00 pm The Mirror http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af167/therobbiewilliamssiteukau/Picture3-108.png http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af167/therobbiewilliamssiteukau/Picture4-70.png http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af167/therobbiewilliamssiteukau/Picture6-34.png 3am.co.uk

Take That and Robbie X-Factor tonight
Great praise from Simon. He really loved Rob. "Robbie is a real genius" - "Robbie is a real star" etc and explaining how he didn't just sing with them - he spent time before the show and encouraged them. I get the feeling that is a dig at the other guest stars as much as it is priase for the Robster. :D He is right though - Robbie made it a team effort and didn't try to totally show up the lads like Xtina did with her oversinging (I felt sorry for Rebecca) - plus asked the public to vote. He cared. I get the feeling the other two were only there so they could flog their new singles.

Take That and Robbie X-Factor tonight
Bloody hell that wasn't remotely as bad as I feared it would be :o It was actually quite enjoyable and Rob didn't make mistakes thankfully. It was well thought out and you could really see how honored the lads were to sing with such a superstar. It was amusing when Rob lifted up the blonde kid at the end and the poor child didn't know what was going on

Take That and Robbie X-Factor tonight
Duets a bit of a let down so far. Rihanna outshone Matt who's voice isn't up to his usual standard. And Xtina swallowed up poor Rebecca with her annoying need to oversing every single word. Rob up now. He better not forget lyrics or miss the que
