Take That and Robbie X-Factor tonight
I am delighted with the news they will sing SOS on Sunday. I can't wait to hear this song live. The energy will be fantastic :D Suppose there is still a chance Rob will perform solo tonight after all the contestants perform and perform one is eliminated. I'm not holding my breath considering nothing has been announced. Although it was never announced he was performing You Know Me last year so who knows? I can just imagine She The One tonight now. 1D will sing it up after the first chorus - then Rob will come out starting with "We were young" etc - with 1D singing the 'smiling' and 'flying' parts in a nice boyband style harmony  CRINGE :arrr:

Waffling Out Of Consciousness
I cant find the Xmas banner  Where is it gone? I demand to know. :o

Waffling Out Of Consciousness
The most we have ever had. It was 20 cm in parts. Nowhere near as bad as Scotland I am sure but you are used to snow - we hardly ever get it and if we do it goes away quickly. This time it lasted weeks and the country came to a stand still.

Waffling Out Of Consciousness
Jups :cheer: I had the Xmas banner saved on a photobucklet site somewhere. Must try and find it  Our snow is largely gone too. No doubt it will make a return in January

Late Late Show in Ireland - December 10th
Don't worry - it will be on RTE Player tomorrow and you can drool over him while he sings his latest Xmas song :yahoo: He and his wife were on chatting about how amazing it was to be at Cliff Richard's 50th concert. Your other hero Gordon Brown was also on. Mary Byne did not turn up. <_< There is an interview with the lads on Irish radio on Monday as Tess posted - the DJ did it this afternoon and every question will be fromt he viewers. I fired in a few via email. It is these sort of interviews that are interesting - the LLS and all others really are the same answers to the same questions over and over.

Take That and Robbie X-Factor tonight
I agree - he has made a big mistake. And tbh it sends out an odd message - that an upcoming boyband who were manufactured containing people who wanted to be solo artists singing with the most sucessful solo artist to emerge from a boyband. I can only assume seeing as he gets on very well with Simon that they came to an agreement that he would sing solo after? I can only hope. It say son the front of tomorrow's 'Star' that Simon is fixing the show for 1D to win - I assume this iss due to them having Robbie? Strange that the majority of the kids online think the polar opposite  I think as you say Simon is hoping Robbie and TT fans voting for 1D on top of all the little kids that will do so anyway will lead them to victory? I still don't get why something upbeat isn't being sung. Yes I know Simon loves ballads and nothing else but something fun like Rock DJ, LMEY or Supreme would have been a far better option. Even 'Could It Be Magic' :P

Take That and Robbie X-Factor tonight
She;s The One seems to defiantly be the song for the duet with Wand Erection- a terrible choice. What had potential to be an upbeat, fun and stomping performance had the correct song been chosen, will now be naff and cringeworthy. Mind you no matter what song is sung it's bound to turn out to be naff. A near 40 year old man singing with a bunch of kids - it's just naff  Besides Rob cannot stand She's The One (mainly because he didn't write it and has to pay Karl whatshisname each time he performs it) and hasn't sung it in a long long time. It all makes no sense and if he doesn't do a solo performance to promote IAOOC for Xmas (even if it's predictable 'Feel') I will not be pleased. Otherwise what exactly is the point? Hell I'm now starting to think the duet with Rebecca would have been better afterall - Something Stupid even though I hate it would have worked well with the two of them. Hell even Rudebox rapped with Cher would have been a better option  Why are there no big line-up for the Sunday night like last year? We had Macca, George Michael and Robbie. TT are the only act being mentioned. Oh and Wagner. :P Prince and Eminem had been mentioned ages ago but obviously fell through.

Late Late Show in Ireland - December 10th
They were on at the very start. It is still on live now and Jups hero :naughty: Daniel O'Donnell is on with his wife. It won't be on the player to replay it till tomorrow I think. Probably on youtube before then though.

Late Late Show in Ireland - December 10th
True. Comparing Blair and Brown is similar to here in Ireland with Bertie and Cowen. You go from one charismatic con-artist to an extremly boring old sod zero communication skills. Brown is on now though. He is nowhere near as bad as our PM Cowen though who has essentially destroyed our economy with his incompetence and arrogance. :puke2:

Late Late Show in Ireland - December 10th
It was enjoyable. The crowd were as Rob described the Irish being "mental" The interview on the lads part was good but on Tubs not so much. He asked the same question (comparing this time to the first time) in a variety of different ways and took up valuable interviewing time in doing so. There are so many topics that were not brought up. Nothing about the creation of the new album - the actual MUSIC - it was all just about how they felt in the 90's and what's different now. I was hoping he would ask Rob a bit about the solo career considering he sung a solo song - about the connection with Ireland and especially the famous FREE GIG :P I am feeling sorry for Jason and Howard. Why are they not being included in these interviews? I don't see the problem with all five doing the interview? They did it fine the first time around and Westlife among others managed to do interviews with five. It seems odd tbh - and it was also evident in the performance when Rob, Mark and Gary left the stage to go up to the audience and Howard and Jason just stayed behind. I'd like to know their feeling on this. Maybe they prefer it this way? I enjoyed it but am positive it would have been far more iteresting for us fans who have heard these very answers endless times now - had someone who asks extremly interesting questions about MUSIC and fame in general in an intelligent manner that gets totally different answers - someone like Dave Fanning. Oh well it could have been worse - Pat Kenny could have done it instead of Tubs

Take That to return to the Brit awards with Robbie
Odd they got rid of the Outstanding Contribution Award - I was sure TT would get it. Considering how critically acclaimed Progress has been and the BRITS love for Rob - it could win Best Album but I wouldn't be surprised if they won nothing. The Brits is only a bit of fun and not comparable to The Grammy awards in the US.

Take That and Robbie X-Factor tonight
The ignorance is young people online (epsecially on DS) never fails to astound me. By the way people go on one would think he was the male version fo Kerry Katona as oppose to the best selling British solo artist in the history of UK music. The ignorance of people (most of whom I can only assume are below 15 and would have been too young to have seen Robbie before his long break) who are making out that the other three acts have been given superstars while 1D have been lumped with Robbie who is apparently nowhere as big as the others. It's worrying the sheer volume of ignorant people - I mean firstly Xtina's last album totally bombed and she is hardly relevant - she has also less than half the amount of albums Rob has this decade despite being huge in the US - Will.iam (or however it's written) is more known for the BEP. Rihanna granted is one of the biggest pop stars int he world right now so that is different - still though her big studio album from last year didn't sell much more than RKTVS despite her being huge int he USA. Plus her newer album has sold nowhere near as much as Rob's second GH in the UK. She is more of a singles artist so it's silly to compare them really anyway. The facts are though none of the other three will ever reach the album sales Rob has and will never have a hope in hell of selling 10 million concert tickets in stadiums accross the globe - for people to make out Robbie is the lesser of the stars is exactly the sort of ignorance that the tabloids are largely responsible for with their endless need for throwing facts out the window. I wish he wasn't bothering with this silly duet. He is just leaving himself open for critisism when there is really no need. The only consolation would be if he gets to perform a solo track later on the night or on the Sunday as well as with TT.

Late Late Show in Ireland - December 10th
Was just listening to Tubs radio show and he is getting texts in for questions tonight - the free Dublin gig has been mentioned plus the song choice for tomorrow's XF duet and also why the other four are not performing for the duet too. Tubs said that TT will be on at the very start of the show. He said Robbie will be singing a solo classic followed by a long interview and then all five will sing for the first time on the LLS. Feel and The Flood are surely the two tracks? Here is the link again - http://www.rte.ie/live/ it will be on the right hand side to click on by tonight. Available worldwide to watch live. I get the feeling Tubridy is more looking forward to interviewing former British PM Gordon Brown - he loves politics. I hope he isn't counting on Brown being as interesting an interviewee as Tony Blair was. I think Mary from the XF is on too.

Take That and Robbie X-Factor tonight
Well him performing with TT again makes no sense. I'm annoyed he is doing the duet in the first place but would have been pleased had it meant he would get to promote IAOOC after 2 months of nothing- a medley or something would have been great. But he is singing with TT again? No doubt Never Forget. That and the Flood are the only two songs they are performing for some reason. They are doing both tonight at the RVS and at the weekend on SCD. And I can't see him singing solo and with TT on the one show. I know they have a lot of time to fill up but that would be silly. Great for sales but I am sure they have others lined up. Eminem and Prince were originally due but no longer it would appear. Ideally TT as five would be doing the duet - on the Sunday Robbie would do a solo meldey and then TT will sing Kidz or SOS (next single whichever it is). Rumors suggestion 'She's The One' will be the duet song. A bad choice imo - Rob hasn't sung it in a very long time plus an upbeat song is needed - Supreme would be great but Rock DJ or Millenium are obvious choice too.

Take That and Robbie X-Factor tonight
It has been confirmed now. He is singing with One Direction  What is he playing at? I see no need whatsoever for him to bother doing this. He will be on SCD with TT so why is he putting all this pressure on himself and leaving himself open to critisism from clueless folk? What is the point? The only thing I can think of is his management want him to perform a solo set later on Sat or Sunday night to finally promote IAOOC properly and in exchange Simon wanted him to do this? I really don't get it at all. Robbie has had very bad luck with performing on the XF last year - and while the YKM performance was very good it is only the negative from the Bodies/Angels performances people remember. He shouldn't bother, especially with such a busy weekend. I mean tonight the Royal Variety is filmed tonight - flying to Dublin for the LLS tomorrow, two performances on SCD Saturday - then performing in front of 20M people on the XF - and than possibly another solo performance on the Sunday? For someone who admits being lazy he certainly is doing a lot of work. I will be pleased if it means a solo performance on Sunday final to promote IAOOC - but otherwise he shouldn't bother imo. If he wanted to do it so much why are the other four TT lads joining? One Direction are a boyband afterall so the whole thing fails to make sense. As long as Angels isn't sung - they should do Rock DJ.

Take That and Robbie X-Factor tonight
Oh god Rebecca is another one of these singers who makes watching paint dry sound incredibly exciting. Technically a great voice but has no other qualities of a star. The public lap up such blandness and her covers album would be huge for mothers day but get, even those who adore bland singers who lack diversity get bored - we have seen this from the huge drop in popularity of the likes of Dido and Norah Jones. And even if we look as Leona who is very similar to Rebecca in terms of lacking star quality and stage presence but has a technically great voice (and certainly can hit far higher notes than Rebecca but doesn't have a better overall tone imo) - she has seen a dramatic decline in popularity everywhere but especially internationally. It takes a hell of a lot more than a technically perfect voice to last in music - doign the exact same thing over and over only passes in the short term. Cowell is the king of short term sucess for acts so he will sign her regardless. But this nonsense is delusional morons like Walsh about her having 'everything' is typical XF fodder of the highest order. I mean can you just imagine a live show with Rebecca? I can and am already nodding off at the thought of it. Again I will say I hope this is untrue. None of the acts this year will be around in a decade - Matt is my fave but is still on the bland side - at least he can write his own songs and can change things up - it would be best for him to come second though and not sign with Cowell who would ruin his career and turn him into Steve Brookstein the 2nd. Other rumors now suggest TT will perform with One Direction? I wonder why it hasn't been made official like it was last year?

Tubs said on his radio show that the guests tomorrow night are: Take That, Robbie Williams, Gordon Brown and Daniel O'Donnell. What a bizzaire line up

X Factor: The Live Shows [Semi-final]
I hope Rob doesn't bother with this. The duet has to be one of his songs - so likely Kids or Something Stupid and due to Rebecca being unable to move it will be Something Stupid - a song I despise and one I never want to hear Robbie or anyone else sing again. My opinion of the track aside, it would be the clear obvious choice if this duet is true. She won't exactly have an issue singing better than Ms Kidman did :P There is brilliant duet Robbie did with a great female singer on his 2002 track 'Revolution' that would really suit Rebecca but seeing as it was only an album track there is no chance of it being sung. Robbie+Rebecca= the DREADFUL 'Something Stupid' Hopefully this info is false.

Take That and Robbie X-Factor tonight
WTF are these rumors about Robbie performing as one of the duets on the final? Louis Walsh has just said he had heard this too. How bizzaire. For starters he will be on SCD on Sat with Take That performign two tracks so how will he be able to do this? Secondly to pair him with Rebecca would be insane. She doesn't 'move' - so it would make no sense - him and Matt obviously but that would be a repeat of the Olly duet last year which wasn't great. I find it very hard to believe he will be one of the stars now he is back with TT. Speaking of TT, why are they not part of the duet with One Direction? Louis said it will be official tomorrow. These rumors turned out to be true last year but I will be shocked if Robbie will be there.

Late Late Show in Ireland - December 10th
Tubridy couldn't grill a sausage FFS  We already knew he would be performing solo - RTE said it in the original announcement. As i said I never expected to see Rob bothering to appear on the LLS so I can't wait to see him perform solo. I wonder what he will sing? No doubt it will be something extra predictable like 'Feel' How I wish the lads would change things up and sing a different track other than The Flood - and Rob sings Heart & I. Won't happen though  Intersting about SCD too - I was half expecitng an XF final performance of the next single to order to max sales - and also for them to perform with One Direction but alas they will appear on SCD to perform The Flood and NF again - think they are doing the very same two songs at the Royal Variety as well. You would think after so long apart they would want to freshen things up and sing other songs - new and old.

Waffling Out Of Consciousness
That's such a shame Ossy. The 360 show is an amazing live experience :( And Jay Z is supporting and is going his rap part during Sunday Bloody Sunday which actually really suits the song. ^_^
