  1. On twitter some headlines pop up that Rob would drop the dance album. Is that out of context or true? Anyone knows if he has said something like that?
  2. It makes sense to have a new album next spring when the documentary and the biopic and the tour will be ahead. I think this time they did quite a good strategy.
  3. Do you have an idea how it will chart in other countries I guess it will be no 2 in Germany (they have a strong local competitor) and possibly number 2 or 1 in the Netherlands. But this are guesses. Any better data supported ideas :-) ?
  4. I would love to have a blog again, but I guess the social media possibilities have changed interest of people in...reading. I have done a training with engineers in the last months I also did 10 years ago. One of the icebreakers was asking them about reading and 10 years ago there had been very interesting answers (as well as there are male engineers of young age who say that they love Rob music). The group I trained now was saying that they do not read anymore: 80 percent, independent of age. They read though business related reports or hobby related articles, but no books. So I guess blogs are antic :-)
  5. I am following the Instagram of Ayda as she is showing quite a lot of pictures from Rob. Her followers are steady growing since she has the clothing line (or since Rob goes public with a new album and promo?). I think it does quite well only fro what I see online obviously. Would be nice for her as sportsclothes really fit what she likes
  6. well, I guess the US is also a part of the worldwide I tunes charts and there Rob will not chart. I have not read the Telegraph but assume that they will have not have that many good words for Rob's album, they rarely had in the last years. I can see thought that you are right and with the promotion not taking place which was quite a good plan with BBC2 it is not helping either. But it would be great if he would get a new number one. I saw a lot of Dutch interviews also with members of the orchestra he had played with as it is Dutch. They all say that he is a genuinly nice guy. There might be a show net year produced here (John de Mol, the 'father' of all big brothers). Rob knew Linda deMol, his sister, since many years who is also very well known in teh Netherlands. Aside of that, I saw a lot of interviews here in the Netherlands where they asked Rob what kind of father he is and he gives very mature answers to that question: He gives stability and security. I like that.
  7. I really hope that Rob will get his 14th no 1 Do you have any numbers. Laura or why do you think Ozzy will beat him?
  8. he indeed has great plans and new energy
  9. https://www1.wdr.de/radio/wdr2/musik/robbie...erview-100.html thi is a six page interview called a King looks for a new kingdom and is very informative about all his plans, the whys and the music industry. It is in German and 6 pages long so google translater needed
  10. It is sad not only for the UK as the Queen was a symbol of stability. Even here in the Netherlands where we have our own Queen when we said Queen we thought about Eilzabeth of Britain. The end of an era.
  11. NME was quite positive towards Rob the last years
  12. He is always so self conscious about how things are, amazing
  13. They had an interview online with the mayor of Bonn which was the West German capital until 30 years ago and has a lot of international institutions there. Very beautiful town by the way. The mayor was totally awed by Rob's performance. They said that 25,000 people ad been there but another 20,000 where listening at the Rhine promenades and outside the venue This was really special
  14. Love the pink and a lot of great reviews from fans and in the press. They missed him. In Munich there had also been Helen Fischer the Hugest German star who usually draws the biggest crowds and she did. But critics said it was heartless. Robbie is always considered as genuine and natural
  15. Doess anyone know if it i true that Rob said he would sing with Teddy soon?
  16. maybe it is also simply because he is was not on stage for quiet a long time? This is something to get useed to again.
  17. I agree, Laura. I think the fact that his songs to sometimes not get the praise they deserve is down to him pretending not to take them serious and to him not to know the border between being funny and being bringing himself down
  18. come undone - I agree, still love the darkness of it
  19. I am always happy when he has an interested and serious interviewer as then his answers are serious and very thoughtful
  20. taylor Swift, forgot about the Angels moment, yes that would be great
  21. I understand this Syd, and I am happy that he still puts music out. But somehow I feel that he has lost far more appeal to people during the years than other big artists of the time when he was big. Like you mention in another thread, U2 as example. I still think he needs not even a big video. This will also not change things. He needs one of these huge collaborations. Coldplay did it, Elton John. I had assumed he would do one with Brittney but now it is Elton John doing it. He needs a kick start and i don't believe he can do it by himself anymore. I mean, he will always have his certain audience, but even this audience has decreased quite a lot
  22. He is not famous enough anymore world wide that he will draw enough people. If the biopic will work well then I can see him back on the higher top and doing Vegas again
