Friday Chart Predictions
Just think, we could have two consecutive weeks where the Number 1 single drops out of the Top 100 the following week! (Almost certainly the Top 40 anyway, which would still be a new record.)

The same song in the chart twice
What's more, if I remember rightly, if the sales for the 12" had been added to the other formats, it would have kept Oasis at Number 1 for a second week, in front of Livin' Joy's Dreamer.

The same song in the chart twice
There were two versions of The X Files theme in the Top 10 simultaneously in 1996, if I remember correctly.

The Buzzjack Sunday Chart Show Thread
Well, in any given week where one song has overtaken another song to be number one, presumably the gap was zero at one stage! B-)

Nice song this. I think I'll buy it.

Sunday Chart Predictions
Actually, no. The chart will officially be dated 2nd January 2010, so Joe would be the first Number One of the 2010s. The Guinness Hit Singles book always lists the Christmas chart as the last chart of the year. :) (For example, Iron Maiden's Bring Your Daughter to the Slaughter is the first Number One of 1991, despite being announced at the top in December 1990; Chef's Chocolate Salty Balls is the first Number One of 1999, despite being announced at the the top in December 1998 etc...)
