  1. Yeah but when you looked at it, it would be "that never goes out, there is a light." It would annoy me after awhile.
  2. I like the "There is a Light that never goes out" but I'd want it smaller...I like the script as well. And I'd want it on my lower back. It would really suck if like, the guy accidentally made two of the words uneven or something.
  3. I have that on my walll!!! The NME poster with Moz and Franz!
  4. But Interpol is really reallly realllly good! Yes, I realize that all bands claim that they were in some way influenced by Moz, but really. Interpol really was. They sound very much like Joy Division. It would make me extremely happy if you downloaded (and listened) to their stuff!! :D
  5. Blue squares? Anyway, it is not random! Anyone who likes the Smiths needs to like all the bands that have been influenced by them!
  6. totally not random!
  7. Good god...I'm still in a traumatic shock, just give me a few minutes.
  8. ...I'm thinking I would have rather you said you didnt like them. Oh my god. Alright *composes self* you need to get yourself into Interpol RIGHT NOW. Anyway, they are a four-piece indie rock band from New york City, fronted by Paul Banks. You need to download the following songs immediately: Slow Hands Narc Evil Untitled Stella was a Diver and She was Always Down The New Roland NYC ...and basically all of them because they are awesome. They have two albums out, their debut was Turn on the Bright Lights, and their sophomore album was called Antics.
  9. Oh you soo did not just say that. Please, please tell me you're kidding
  10. You like Interpol right? I must ask because I'm almost as obsessed with them as I am with Morrissey...and it would be devastating to find out that you didnt care for them...no pressure or anything :P
  11. Ohh yes, it's huge in my hometown. I personally never really got into it, probably because I really dont know the game very well. I dont pay much attention to sports, unless the Red Sox are in the World Series.
  12. I went throught a terrible phase where I was unhealthily obsessed with The Killers...not as bad as Moz, but I was a fangirl for about 9 months. I bought all their rare tracks on ebay, as well as a live album from Montreal in April 2004.
  13. Ohh haha no, Brandon Flowers recorded it way before Hot Fuss came out, and I was dying to hear it. It's really good actually.
  14. Yeah, we only carry one of each at the store, and it was sold out online. It was a sad few weeks for me, but I purchased a signed Interpol poster instead to help aleviate the pain. To be honest I dont usually buy merch through work, I go to ebay for that. I spent a good 3 months searching for the Killers cover of Why Dont You Find Out for Yourself, and I finally found it on ebay.
  15. We're pretty limited at the store itself, and online it looks like it too. When I first started working there we had a really nice one, but I believe we sold it this past July. I clearly remember mourning. And cursing the bast*rd who got it before I did.
  16. I have the coolest job ever...you know what I do? I listen to Morrissey all day and organize vinyl, cd's, and posters: http://www.newburycomics.com
  17. I'm envious beyond words...
  18. Yeah! I must go there when I ship myself off to the UK...I'll just stand there, worshipping the sacred ground.
  19. Yeah! Just kinda stumble in there and be like "spiccee gurlz lyriczz" Yeah that's where I saw it, I'd love to visit it myself one day. I need to travel more. Im sick of the Northeast.
  20. I suppose one will only find out if they go and feel it for themselves... Cyprus looks beautiful by the way... I say I want one now, but I have a feeling I'll back out at the last second.
  21. I dont think I could take the pain of something like that...it would take forever to do each letter. I wish they could just numb the entire area and then get to work. I want to know how the pain of a tattoo compares to: 1) hard waxing 2) multiple bee stings 3) sunburn I'm familiar with these pains so someone enlighten me. i need to do my research before I sit down and have someone inject me with ink. Ill end up leaving the place with a back that says "everyday is lik"
  22. Haha that's such an interesting question. I want a tattoo but I have a feeling that if I get something like lyrics done I'd find a line a week later and want to use that more... But I like the whole going down the arm idea... "now I know how joan of arc felt"

Aww I'm not on the list...
  24. KYYYYYYY! Yes, it took me awhile to make the connection between the forum, audioscrobbler, and myspace...
