I went to Manchester - we met her before the show but just like outside type thing not at the meet and greet, she was really sweet but didn't stop long. I did hear other people inside the show moaning the meet and greet wasn't great, I think unfortunately a lot of artists don't make them personal for whatever reason which sucks as it'd make so much more of the experience. I thought the atmosphere was incredible, fantastic show, one of the best I have been to in a long time. I did like the setlist but I would have liked to hear some songs in full, I was so happy we got Disaster but then it ended way abruptly ha ha. You could tell she was pretty moved by the crowd reaction to her though, I'm hoping our prediction at the show that she totally blows up over the next couple of years comes true. Way too talented to not be heard by more people and she speaks so eloquently on so many topics - addiction is something that has been an issue within my family so I feel quite connected to what she says about it and I love her self-love vibe, the world needs more of that.
  2. Yeah since the planned release date clashes with The Voice Au filming, I think it's unlikely she'll come over to promote. I'd love her too but I'm at the point where I'm not sure it'll happen. Wish there was more solid info about their plans with this song, seems really random without anything to back up the reasoning behind it. The recent WOTW tour literally made my life, would love to see it brought over here, as a long time supporter it was so magical to finally see D in a large arena, nothing but the music, such a good atmosphere. <3 I feel like she could do a small tour here without any sort of hit because there's enough people that want to see her but don't think they'd organise it without some more recent success.
  3. We've all been losing our minds about Heavy potentially being a single so I thought it a good time to log back in to Buzzjack after what has probably been years! Hope the news is true - it's like the panic of the London trip all over again
  4. Need some advice! Thought this was the place to ask. I got standby tickets for this weekends live finals - currently debating going but from other peoples experiences how early would I need to arrive and queue to effectively guarantee I would get in? Don't really want to try 3 hours and sit there for 6/7 more for nothing. If I go I will most likely also have 2 spare places.

I only just bought a copy of the single - oops, tiny bit late! Love that video of Ego at GAY. :D Is it me or do Frankie's vocals suddenly seem an awful lot stronger?
  6. Yeah still not open for registration without an invite unfortunately. :( If you could invite me though that would be absolutely fabulous and such a great help. I will PM you now.
  7. Talking of Spotify can I be very cheeky and ask if anyone has any invites?
  8. I personally hope the setlist changes a little bit, I too would have liked more songs from AIEW. I would love to hear Save You and If No One Will Listen live. I just hope if they're not there Cry is!

This is beautiful. Can't believe it wasn't on the soundtrack, upon hearing it I just melted.
  10. Boys is epic, I pre-ordered a copy of the single. <3 It came today! HMV have this habit of sending everything out early... :D Didn't get the Cheryl Cole mailer today though hmph. People keep talking about a competition that was included? Apparently you have to sing so I will definitely not be partaking, but I'd like to know what it said all the same. Can anyone copy/paste?

I've really liked both of the chosen singles so far, I'll most likely buy the album. I saw Mini Viva support The Saturdays in June and actually they didn't perform a track I didn't like or that wasn't instantly catchy. I think my favourites were Emotion of Love and Hooked. I'm glad things are going well for both of the girls so far!
  12. I think Forever Is Over is by far the weakest track on The Saturdays album, it's not the most credible of tracks in my opinion. I'm glad Kelly didn't release it because to be it doesn't have that instantly indentifiable and loveable Kelly attitude. Although I can see Slick's point of saying it almost sounds as though it could have been written with Kelly in mind, it's still just kind of blah.

Nice, just nice. Not exactly anything special - if I had to choose I'd say Empty Handed is the better of the two also.
  14. 'Big Brother superstar' she didn't even make housemate status! I really doubt X Factor would have someone totally unheard of perform and if she has this 'new single' out in a month she best get cracking with some other decent promotion given so far again absolutely nothing to be found about the supposed song. Most laughable story of the year!
  15. HMV have said my copy is 'on it's way', so I'm thinking I'll get it early at this rate. I want to buy the fan edition too but £21.99 at the moment seemed like a lot. :( Listening online yesterday anyway and I bloody love the album. Stand Up is probably among my favourites at the moment!
  16. :o My copy of the single is on its way in the post. I want it in my hands now please! I can't say I'm surprised Fight For This Love is doing so well but the sales figures really are fantastic.

EGO FANCLUB FTW! I absolutely love all the tracks, One Shot sounds really good on the megamix too now I think about it more.

https://uk.web.music.realnetworks.com/web/a...OIN_ID=34626805 It's on the web at the above address. You have to open it using internet explorer however, as a Firefox user I was not amused! Then it didn't work anyway. :( If anyone has managed to download and then reupload elsewhere I'd love to hear. :)

No it's a 6 minute megamix of new album snippits on the Vodafone music website. You can play it on the website but it's not working for me or download it if you are a Vodafone customer. :)

I like the Teen Today review, I personally agree with most of the comments made. Wordshaker seems like it'll be a much more consistent album than Chasing Lights. I'd say Forever Is Over and Not Good Enough are the weakest tracks. I did a bit of a WTF when Not Good Enough came on, it just didn't seem like it should have been there given it leaked a long time ago. The only reasoning I can fathom as to why Forever Is Over was chosen as the first single is because to me it bridges the gap between the two albums. It would have probably really stood out if it had been a track on Chasing Lights but given Wordshaker is taking the girls in a different direction it kind of just feels like it got left behind somewhere when listening to Wordshaker as a whole. It's a great track but I can see why reviewers are calling it slightly weak.
  21. I got my tickets earlier too, for Manchester and Liverpool! :D

We were told this evening, there will be another tour again early 2010. I think a lot of people were hoping it would happen and apparently it most certainly will! Anyways back to the last tour, I went to the Manchester dates - front row last night baby and it was an awesome one. Great sound, great interaction and that's just from my vague memory of the evening due to a lot of free drinks.

I was trying to hold it together, but I'd met them a few times before and knew they were all very pleasant and warm people, so I just spoke to them how I would anyone else. I was mainly panicked because I'd rushed to get to the venue on time plus I'm a God awful driver and took so many wrong turnings along the way. I only found out I had a place on the guestlist at 5.45pm and the event started at 6.30pm! Manic!

Rochelle was asking everyone whether they thought this album was better than Chasing Lights and I said yes and genuinely meant it. From what I heard it's much more put together, flows better as an album and has some really awesome and memorable lyrics. I'd say there wasn't a track I particularly disliked. I mainly spoke to Una as we were discussing her EP. I saw her a few years ago when she performed at The Bedford as a solo artist and we got talking about the owner Tony Moore and how I'd been introduced to The Bedford by Lucie Silvas as she used to perform there a lot. It then turned out Mollie used to be Lucie's neighbour in Thames Ditton and they all knew her too! Una signed my EP again too, even though she'd already signed it back at The Bedford. I think she was quite amazed I'd been there that night! There were quite a few paps there tonight waiting outside afterwards, which did surprise me, Mollie in particular got followed to her car so I'm sure come tomorrow pictures will be in a few places.

I went to The Saturdays album listening party this evening, album was played over many times and the girls were there for about an hour and half chatting to everyone, signing things and taking pictures. They're all such lovely people and it was an awesome experience. Una's gorgeous new dog was there, it had an accident towards the end of the evening and you should have seen Una's face, hilarious! Good job her boyfriend was there to clean up! Songs that really stood out for me were Wordshaker, it sounds more rocky than it did on the tour, along with Open Up and Deeper. Open Up is absolutely gorgeous, after tonight I'd say so far it's my favourite although that could change when I get into listening to it more in depth come October 12th. Very excited! A lot of people said they thought the Forever Is Over album version was quite different, it has more of an intro and ending than the single version. Personally I didn't notice any major changes but then again I'm not very observant.
