New album
I think it's this Friday, either way I don't think it matters and I won't be in the same district. I was just like 'oh it could be the same day'. LA is a massive place though and I'm in Santa Monica which is not really that central although a pleasant area.

Lucie peaks around the globe!
Thankyou for this informative post! Much appreciated! :D xxx

What Lucie song are you listening to right now ?
You and I (live).

Which songs?
What Lucie song do you think best shows of her songwriting skills? I'll go with Coming Out Wrong, I think it has some really well thought out and expressive lyrics. What Lu song do you think best shows of her voice? Forget Me Not, I fail to see how that song sometimes doesn't move people. It's very powerful and always beautifully sung.

Decent news!
DELTA Goodrem is preparing for her pop comeback feeling happier - and sexier - than ever. Goodrem filmed the video for her new single, In This Life, in LA on Friday. "I've been away for so long I'm really excited by it all," Goodrem said yesterday. "I'm more than ready to start this whole world again. It took me a second to get back into gear because I haven't made a video for so long, but it felt better than ever." Insiders say the video is the sexiest Goodrem has made to date, with the singer sporting a Brigitte Bardot look in several scenes. "I guess that's what happens when you grow up and develop your own sense of style," Goodrem said. The single is the first taste of Goodrem's third album, due out later this year - her first new album since 2004. In This Life will be premiered on Australian radio on August 28, and will be in record stores 17 days later. The singer, 22, said her time away from the pop charts - and Australia - was vital. "It's the best thing I could have possibly done," Goodrem said. "Not just because I was worried that people were sick of me, but there's a ball that starts rolling that just runs out of control. "It became too much. I needed to find a really happy place again. I got tired. I got stale with things." Goodrem released her second album, 2004's Mistaken Identity a year after her million-selling debut Innocent Eyes and while still recovering from her battle with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Towards the end of promoting the second album she started to operate on autopilot. "I was going through the motions a little bit," she said. "I felt I came back rather quickly from being ill and didn't give myself the time to reflect. "I wasn't letting me be me in interviews. I wasn't relaxing. "The second album was emotionally exhausting and my life felt like it had become very serious at a very young age. Now I'm having fun. I'm the same girl but I've learnt a lot. I've grown. I'm a little older." During her time off the pop radar Goodrem grew closer to boyfriend Brian McFadden. Their relationship started in controversy - McFadden having just split with the mother of his two children - but they remained a couple for almost three years, even buying a house together in London. The pair have written the bulk of Goodrem's third album together. McFadden also helped Goodrem through some tough times, including the end of her parents' marriage and her mother Lea standing down as her manager. "I became an adult. I knew who I was as a girl but I had to find who I was as a woman. I'm very settled in my life. "I have a great team around me, a great personal life. "It's a really happy album. For a while I was writing songs for this album I didn't want to talk about things, so I didn't want to write about them either. "I had to get over a couple of things. My parents divorced, there was a lot going on. But now I truly am inspired again. I feel regenerated. I feel I've got my energy back." In This Life has a more guitar-driven vibe and updates Goodrem's sound with the help of hit US producer John Shanks (Take That, Bon Jovi, Ashlee Simpson). "I'm not worried any more about changing people's view of me," Goodrem said. "I've always been who I am. But hopefully with a new sound, it's very fresh, people will be able to accept I've grown and I've moved on. "It's been a wonderful journey but it's completely new now. I'm a little bit older, I'm free and happy, doing music I really love again. "I'm waking up like it's Christmas to go to a video shoot. Last time around there'd been so much craziness I had kind of lost that. The last record was really dark. "On this album there's songs like God Laughs and Believe Again - I was in a really happy place writing them and I think people will feel that." Goodrem returns to Australia today to start promoting her album and is planning a tour for 2008. New album
Well seeing as the information has now been released to the public (all of 20 minutes ago!), I see no reason not to post it's called In This Life. It's by the Crichton guy and TL James etc etc. This is the message I got about it on the 8th, incase I'm going to get told I'm leading people on with falses - http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v11/NatashaH/deltanewsingle.jpg I should know lyrics in a week or so, unless the song leaks before then or anything. Although I doubt that even though it's in some peoples hands. Video is being filmed in LA on Friday. By total coincidence I'm also there on Friday - which is quite scary.

New album
It kind of is reminiscent of Nobody Listened yeah. I can see it being a hidden track too perhaps.

Fading [NEW BONUS TRACK!]
Well we can't post links here and it takes a while to re-upload and song, so this is easier. Go to www.google.com Search google for 'the sweet escape blog'. Then when the search is done choose the first option. On the top left you see a box with a white B on an orange background. Search 'kelly clarkson'. Wait for the search to complete and then scroll down 5 blog entries and Fading is there.

Delta a "step backwards"
Well as much as it'd be nice for Delta to get this chance, I'd like Natalie to do it for once. Delta has an amazing voice, seriously she's sat next to me and sung and it's perfect, yet everyone realises this and knows she's amazing. Even in this thread people have said they don't think Natalie's voice would blow them away. Until you hear her sing RT's 'In Love Again' live I don't think you can say that. She's **** awesome. She hits some incredible notes that I don't think really show on the RT album at all. I think people would be very pleasantly surprised to hear her do the Aussie anthem.

New album
No, none of those... Honestly it's not a title I've ever read on the internet before. I'm waiting for more information but the person who told me in the first place has now gone on holiday.

McFly Change Their Logo
A rough total of UK album sales is just under 1 million... I fail to see how they made a total of 9.8 million worldwide...

I love both! I think I probably prefer The One That Got Away though. What about Brown Skin, the cover, that's quite nice.
