X Factor: The Live Shows
I very much liked tonights show, there's were some ups and downs and obviously some people were better than others by far. Really liked all of Cheryl's category, esepcially Diana - who I just voted for, she's fabulous. Also was impressed by Austin and Eoghan. Disliked pretty much all of the groups. Don't mean to sound unpleasant when I say this but they all seem to lack that special something that elevates them to the next level. Most artists I like I generally look up to a vlue one of their qualities but eh it's all relative with the groups.

Alesha ∙ The Alesha Show: The Encore ∙
LOVE FOR ALESHA. <3 I have a major love affair with my Knockdown single still! Really like this new song, I'm not too sure about the start but once it gets going it's so catchy. Video looks rather fabulous too! Looking forward to the SCD performance. :D

The Saturdays - 'Up' 'Chasing Lights' [13.10.08] [27.10.08]
Why Me, Why Now was written by the truly fabulous Alex Cartana and I'm so used to hearing her demo version that it's just weird to listen to The Saturdays version. It's just so pop compared to the demo. The vocals sound exactly the same style and are really good but the backing track is just way too computerised it seems. I do like it, it's just not Alex.

The Saturdays - 'Up' 'Chasing Lights' [13.10.08] [27.10.08]
New supposed tracklising - The Saturdays - Chasing Lights. Release Date : 20 Oct 2008. Catalogue Number: 1785979 1. If This Is Love 2. Up 3. Keep Her 4. Issues 5. Lies 6. Work 7. Chasing Lights 8. Set Me Off 9. Fall 10. Vulnerable 11. Why Me, Why Now 12. Up (Wideboys remix edit) I hope Fall and Vulnerable are the big ballads that are meant to be on the album. Love those titles! Nice to see the remix on there too, if this is correct information, bit odd though all the same as is that Set Me Off was a freebie track and is now included. Only other thing I think has changed is that 'Work' was originally titled 'Work, Work'. Only 4/5 of the album tracks I haven't actually heard. Why Me, Why Now should be really good, it's co written by Alex Cartana (if anyone remembers her) and I've heard her demo of it which is very good. Great track!

Casualty
I got to say I used to absolutely love Casualty, but it went vastly downhill after about season 18 or 19. I just can't tolerate it anymore. I remember when the storylines were mostly pretty good, now it seems they have exhausted everything. ER is still where it's at!

The Saturdays - 'Up' 'Chasing Lights' [13.10.08] [27.10.08]
HAWT! http://www4.pictures.gi.zimbio.com/Camp%20Rock%20European%20TV%20Premiere%20Arrivals%20gzFt2I6EZFgl.jpg From the Camp Rock premiere. I just love it - they all look SO good. *jealous* As for supporting The Jonas Brothers I think it's a good move, both have a similar fanbase and let's face each and every appearance at this point in time really counts and helps towards their success. The more they do, the better it gets in my opinion.

The Saturdays; single 'Up' and album 'Chasing Lights'
I went top 5 for the single. I'd like to think it will make #4 or #5. Such an addictive song! Not kidding you played it atleast 100 times in the past 3 days! As for the album I was optimistic and said top 10 but in reality I'm thinking it might get like #12 or #13 though.

Your Favourite Saturday Girl?
Nawww there's a much bigger poll than this over at their official forum and so far the rankings are Frankie, Mollie, Una, Vanessa, Rochelle... So practically reversed compared with this one! BJBB Bertie you're so childish, heck if you don't like this band don't bother posting about them because your arguments are so petty. Surely you're wasting your time with it... Also oh my I think they have fantastic personalities. I've watched like all their tour diaries videos and I just cried laughing. They are come across so fantastically and it looks like they're having the time of their lives too bless them.

The Saturdays - 'Up' 'Chasing Lights' [13.10.08] [27.10.08]
Like the new title too, just logged on to post about it. I mean I thought calling it 'Taking Back Sunday' was all fine, I guess it was meant to be sort of funny but I don't know... let's just say Chasing Lights is much nicer. It kind of sucks the week they are releasing though - a few big competitors including the Sugababes I think = not good.

The Saturdays - If This Is Love vs Avenue - Last Goodbye

Mollie, Mollie, Mollie and Mollie. She just seems so lovely. <3 Also love for Una's voice and accent!

The Saturdays - 'Up' 'Chasing Lights' [13.10.08] [27.10.08]
Yeah I saw lots of videos on the official Saturdays forum, the jealously was too much! They did totally mime though, but they are forgiven I guess. It's a shame Not Good Enough isn't on the album. I liked that one an awful lot oh well atleast I have it. Also What Am I Gonna Do Isn't there and that's SO good. I know it's only a bside but heck if that's a bside there are good things to come.

The Saturdays - 'Up' 'Chasing Lights' [13.10.08] [27.10.08]
How annoyed is one that yesterday The Saturdays were at The Trafford Centre (very close by!) and one had to work until 2pm, which is when they performed. :(

The Saturdays - 'Up' 'Chasing Lights' [13.10.08] [27.10.08]
I've been listening to these girls for quite a while now, over and over. At first I don't think I was totally sure whether I was a fan or not then it clicked and I love them and they actually have personalities too! <3 I do think their vocals are fantastic on a lot of the live material I've heard, I sometimes think the studio versions don't do them justice. So far however I'm pretty much liking every leaked track, Up and Issues are my favourites. <3 I cried like a baby at Issues (Live @ Nokia Green Room) damn I don't know what came over me but it was beautiful 'me and my heart we got issues, don't know if I should hate you or miss you'. Also Mollie and Una's accent. <3

Brooke Hogan to release Mini-Album
I think the show Brooke Knows Best is really funny, it's very entertaining. Usually I also like Brooke's music but this new track is awful. It just seems so jumbled...

Mcfly....the Honest spot.
I am certainly not sheepish when it comes to disliking McFly immensely and I'm feeling quite scathing today so apologies in advance. There's already been quite a lot of topics on McFly on here which never seem to go down well, if you look on either page 2 or 3 there's a big long thing about them giving away their latest album free with a newspaper. To be honest the main reason for me not liking them is because of their fans. Some of their fans worship the ground they stand on and whilst it's fair enough to look up to someone, most of the tweens think they s*** gold dust and it just goes a little too far for my liking. I'm all for people sharing their opinions but I just can't take someone whos only setence is 'I want to marry Dougie' seriously. I just think quite a lot of their fans can't be realistic about their 'success' in terms of the bigger picture. They're all happy when 'McFly are #1' but truth of the matter is sales after their first week of releasing a single are appauling. They have some of the worst chart runs. Other than that I think as people they're quite rude. I have had the unfortunate pleasure of crossing paths with them a few years ago. The one thing that really got me though was I was reading an interview with them in Heat magazine I think it was and they got asked a question about groupies and if they'd ever done anything with them and I believe the response was 'no, have you seen some of the girls that wait outside for us' and I thought that was vile. They should atleast respect and value the people that buy their music and who have put them where they are, so in that sense I feel sorry for their fans. Also to be fair I agree that it's good that they do play their own instruments and write songs because they are creative in that sense, but their style it's just not my thing. I just can't listen to their material. But at the same time I understand there is always going to be people that like them and you know we're all different and there is nothing wrong with that.

Ali Lohan - All The Way Around
Weirdly I quite like it, I don't know I just think it's quite chilled out, inoffensive music. I won't be buying it though as it's not worth spending money on.

Demo's Days Go By, I'll Be Yours, Without Words, In My Dream
Shaun means on Rich's Myspace, all the comments! I really love Days Go By, it's SO good in full like that. Now for a download link...

Delta cover Cosmo Aug 08
Well I'm not that impressed with the choice, but that's just because I was set on the decision going another way! Still like ICBITMH a lot though and I'll be buying the single regardless as I usually do! Love that cover shot - Delta looks perfect!

Mcfly - Radio:ACTIVE given away FREE in newspaper
I'll definitely be boycotting the Mail on Sunday then, I can't think of a worse free gift. To be honest though probably quite a smart move of them, seeing as most of the screaming tweens that listen to their music will love the freebie and then go on to buy the cd copy.

Plumb - In My Arms
Yeah I like this song a lot, heard it last October when her new album, Blink was first released. I gather it's about Tiffany's 2nd son which is really cute too. Infact to be honest although you may not consider her mainstream, she is exceedingly popular, the remix of this song In My Arms actually hit #1 on the Billboard Dance Charts. My favourite Plumb songs however are Damaged, Real and Cut, I don't think anything on her latest album sadly will be quite as good as those. I like how it became a theme was Tiffany to write a song on each album about people being hurt.
