I think they only take your camera away if it looks 'too professional' I think standard digital or camera phones are fine. It'd be relatively easy for you to see her going in - she hardly ever stops though (not because she's not a nice person, it's because her record company are strict). I only know 1 person who's met her on the UK tour without some sort of pass and that was last tour in Glasgow. But it's worth a shot waiting about beforehand I guess, nothing ventured, nothing gained and all. As for standing tickets, they don't guarantee you a place close to the front unless you que for quite a few hours before doors open. I think Lucie Silvas is an exception as an artist, she makes me laugh she stops anywhere and totally disregards her minders and stuff if they're telling her she has to go, if she'd rather be talking to a fan. :lol: I've met her well an awful lot of times since 2004 and she's never been anything less than lovely. She always has love for everyone and her family are awesome too, you all know I adore her eldest sister. Heck everyone should go to a Lucie gig!

They're new. They have a really laid back sound and the lyrics are awesome I won't lie. I only heard each of them only once - I'm not listening again because I'd feel guilty now as they weren't supposed to be heard. I feel bad for even listening once! Basically at about 1am this morning these four demos (think it was actually 5) got posted on one website which claimed they were exclusive. The whole saga then unfolded and turned out the site had no permission to be posting them and were doing things they shouldn't. Needless to say they all got taken down within about 10/15 minutes and all traces of talk about them on official forums etc has been removed. So you won't find much information - if you can even still find them, I won't be looking anyways.

My meet with Kelly got pushed back because the gig on the 15th got pushed back (let's all blame the sound tech on the 14th who messed up and got a royal b********* from Kelly and then had the cheek to go outside and rant she was a diva, when he managed to make her strain her voice), I'm trying to be patient but it's SO not working. :lol: I got emailed today about it and was like 'just tell me already'. I'm getting her this My December pendant made though now, it's lush. I'm so hyped up, I don't think anything is going to bring me down now though really. I can't believe I'm going to like actually spend a little bit of time with someone who's really inspired me. Friday nights gig was amazingly good, despite some slight problems Kelly's voice sounded perfect. The whole thing was just a lot of fun and I freakin' cried about 3 times. Three songs - Behind These Hazel Eyes, Breakaway, Sober. Because Of You was just out of this world OTT awesome too, crowd got really into it, loudest sing along I've ever witnessed and Kelly then mouthed to one of her band afterwards 'I'm really going to cry', she looked pretty overwhelmed bless her and then said she wish she'd filmed it to show the 'crapheads' that fought with her not to put BOY on an album. I can't even remember half the other stuff that happened - I forgot how great Kelly's personality is on stage, she's an incredibly funny, generous person.

I'm not overkeen, it seems kind of 'average' like it could be any song really. It doesn't have the usual Lucie edge to me.

I've listened to the Happenstance album by Rachael, it gets a mixed review from me though. I very much liked a few tracks - Paper Doll, Worn Me Down, Letter Read, Reason Why but the rest were not to my taste or a little blah. I heard a teaser for her new album, that was supposed to be released last Summer actually (but wasn't...hmmm...) and that seemed much nicer actually! I have also heard of Chantal who I love! Time is like one of my favourite songs - it's beautiful, infact I really like all of the What if It Means Something album and Green Apples from Under These Rocks and Stones is the sweetest thing. Colour Moving and Still was alright and Ghost Stories was a little weird. I don't know what market Mandy is going for, she did however just finish providing support for Kelly Clarkson's Aussie tour if that means anything to you.

I love this song, it's beautiful! I have the Wild Hope album and a couple of others by Mandy, but Wild Hope is definitely my favourite - I think it's stunning, all the tracks are pretty laid back but the lyrics are amazing and that's what makes it. It really reminds me of Jewel's stuff to be honest.

I used to talk to Brooke White all the time over Myspace, she's honestly one of the nicest people in this world and I'm glad she entered because it's been a really positive experience so far. I said this to her and I'll say it again here but I really hope this year is her year. She's constantly taking her performances to a new level and by that I mean she's changing things up a bit, she'll make a song her own and whether it always works or not is a different matter but that's what it's all about I feel, experimenting until you really find who you are as an artist and finding your versatility and to do that infront of the nation is very brave. I cried so much when she sang Love Is A Battlefield, for me that was one of the greatest performances of the season, if not of all the seasons so far. Honestly I really hope she goes a long long way because I reckon she's got what it's going to take. I also really like David Archuleta, he comes across so sweet and heck he is good seeing as he's so young. He's also my friend Tandi's cousin but that's another story...

I got a backstage pass from one of her websites and the email came through today saying I get to go and meet Kelly an hour before the show. :cheer: I think I just might cry though ha ha.

Oh my goodness, you guys will not believe this, even I'm still in shock but I'm meeting Kelly on the 15th March! :w00t: I'm SO excited!

I don't know what you're talking about because Will and Troy were never permenant members, they just stepped in to help out when things went a bit pear shaped, so that the tour could continue. Now they've gone back to their own band Dark New Day to release their album. It's not really a revolving door policy. Ben Moody walked out, his choice, I'm sure no one forced him to go especially at such an inconvinient time. As for Will he went to spend more time with his family which is understandable and John and Rocky well who knows what went on there! Fair enough there has been quite a few changes but these things happen. I don't know why you view Amy as so power hungry, she might form a new band, she might go solo, she might carry on Evanescence. Whatever way it continues though I don't think we'll be finding out anytime soon. That's why I said 'on a break whilsts the situation is considered'.

^^^ I was just thinking about that actually when I saw this topic. :lol: I have to say I don't really rate her, her music is just not that interesting to me in all fairness. I would have thought I'd like it because I like most of her influences but she's bland in my opinion.

I think they're 'on a break' whilst their situation is considered. They really need new musicians since Will and Troy have now returned to DND after touring with Ev.

To be perfectly honest though it wasn't a great single choice or a really commercial video so it was never destined to go well in my mind.

Also technicalities people half the supposed 'cancelled' dates were never confirmed or on sales. I understand the fuss but nothing was ever set in stone there.

To be honest I don't really blame them calling it a day now, it's already been a ridiculously long tour if it were me I'd be tired and if I hadn't wanted the tour in the first place as some members didn't I'd be wanting it to end aswell I'm sure. I can't imagine how upsetting it is for fans who haven't got to see them as yet to be told it won't happen but at the end of the day I guess making a big deal out of it won't change the decision. So people are SO angry though it's insane, the amount of death threats on Mel C's messageboard is terrible, people are acting like she personally is to blame, which I don't think is true in the slightest despite some of these silly articles.

They did mention it was the last time Spice Girls would be seen in the UK I think. Personally Im thinking of calling Samaritans if that's really true - I feel teary everytime I play a Spice Girls song now knowing it's over. :lol:

Yeah I'm not sure how it's going to be refunded whether they want tickets sent back or whether the money will just be placed back on peoples cards regardless. I'll let you know when I find out. I'm thinking they won't be wanting the tickets back though because they're useless now.
