A band called anberlin have just made a cover of there is a light that never goes out with which I was really impressed. I think that it's on their new album or something like that, check it out.

This is a Portuguese festival which, this year, is going to have an amazing group of bands performing. Examples: Arcade Fire, Interpol, Maximo Park, Klaxons, Bloc Party, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, LCD Soundsystem, Scissor Sisters, Magic Numbers and some Portuguese groups. It also has Metallica confirmed but that's on "act I" ( the festival is devided in two acts, the first is only on day and the second is 3 days in a row) which I will not attend. Isn't it nice? And a few more bands will be announced. :)

We are already recovering

I was thinking we could do something i have already saw in some last.fm profiles of The Smiths and Morrissey fans which is to create a song/text with lines from different songs (you can add one or two words before the line you choose). For example, If i start by saying: We can go wherever we please you would say: We can go wherever we please But it's so hard for our hearts to combine This was my example, i hope you understood the idea, I'll start by saying: Every day you must say :dance:

Have you read any? A friend of mine has recently (yesterday) lend me "Morrissey: Scandal and Passion" by David Bret. I have just started so I don't really have an opinion about it. The type of writing doesn't seem as easy as I was expecting, though. Which is good practice for my english. (that is already above average -_- )

I think it's normal that things happened this away. I didn't thought we would get so low, though.

It's always nice to see ex-smiths members having other colaborations. :) By the way, the new modest mouse album is already circulating in the internet. I am really looking forward to listen to it.

I bought it on wednesday I've read the Smiths article and the last page which i really liked. There were some song reviews that were very nice. B)

I´m doing a compilation to a girl of songs i heard when she broke my heart. It will take a long time, in the film High Fidelity, rob says: Now, the making of a good compilation tape is a very subtle art. Many do's and don'ts. First of all you're using someone else's poetry to express how you feel. This is a delicate thing. This is so true. I'm trying that every verse of the songs have a meaning.

I'm going to buy it today, I hope it's worth it.

Does anybody know if Morrissey and Marr still see each other regularly? Have their kept their freindship?

Yeah, I read that interview. Maybe if it wasn´t for Mike Joice they would re-unite. But I would love to see a Morrissey-Marr colaboration once again as long as it wasn´t using The Smiths' name. In a Morrisey solo album would be nice. :) Up to this moment, we have draw. 2-2 B)

I personally wouldn't. I think The Smiths were meant to a particular time and it has already passed. The only conditions in which I wouldn't mind was if: 1- It would be the 4 of them. 2- Only to do one concert, one tour tops. And maybe release a dvd with that concert.

I've never seen it. I'm curious, though. :)
