  1. hahahahaha, that was it then, thank you for que explanation. I was already thinking I was crazy. :P
  2. It might be because the foto from their debut album was taken from a film directed by a guy named Paul Morrissey. Or... they just guessed. :D
  3. There's too many morrisseys in number 4. :P
  4. I don't think so.
  5. What? How is that possible?
  6. oh, yeah I did it :cheer: didn't notice that. They were all in this forum :)
  7. When was the Marr interview shot? It's really strange to see him say that he is really happy at that time. This must be like April or May or something, no?
  8. but it didn't. It happened to me. <_<
  9. Thanks. I guess i'm just stupid.
  10. f***, i wanted to vote for nº 3 and voted for nº2. :( If anyone wants to vote for number 2 please vote in number 3 so it will be as it should be. I don't know how i got that wrong.
  11. I don't know why I had never noticed that.  hahahahahahahahahahahaha
  12. I've seen some 2nd hand singles in vinyl in a record shop that i wanted to buy but i don't have enough money (they cost between 15 and 25 euros), i only buy that stuff once in a while.
  13. Thanks very much for all the information. :) One day i wanna be like you ^_^ I only listen to the smiths 2 years ago (which is normal since i was borned in 1987 and i'm from Portugal) so there is a lot of things i don´t know. :) I'm trying to listen to the bootleg from the smiths live performance that they used in Rank, i think it's called the "bad boy from a good family". It would be a good starting point.
  14. Really like this sentence. :)
  15. In the mean while, I've downloaded the Peel Sessions (some of the songs sound like the records i'm not sure they are all correct) Now I got it, the ones who "sound like the records" is because they went to hatful of hollow and louder than bombs, and I must have downloaded those versions, already produced. Now it makes sense. :)
  16. I recommend everyone to do so. :)
  17. Thank you very much for the explanation :)
  18. Ok, I'll try to listen to that. In the mean while, I've downloaded the Peel Sessions (some of the songs sound like the records i'm not sure they are all correct) and two covers by Sandie Shaw: Hand in gloove and Jeane. The song jeane sounds that was recorded with morrissey doing back vocals.
  19. Does the expression "hand in gloove" mean anything? It seems to me, a non-native speaking english person, it must be something related to homosexuality because of the song "hand in gloove" and because ha says it after saying "I lost my faith in Womanhood" in the song "pretty girls make graves". This can't be coincidence, certaintly.
  20. I've never listen to neigher of those two but I don't think I would like new york dolls, though I know morrissey is a really, really fan. I've listen to, and i like, the kinks and the beatles which all music considers to have been bands that influenced the smiths. I've read couple of things from Oscar Wilde and I did like it.
  21. yeah, i'll start collecting covers and stuff like that :)
  22. "It was because nobody liked him" Now, too many people like him  Nice interview
