Heather Mills's real enemy is staring at her in the mirror
I remember reading a long winded interview with Linda and Paul and she said (with Paul present) that it was HIS idea for her to be part of the band. He didn't want to tour alone without her and he felt incorporating her into the act would make it easier than her being bored in a hotel room waiting for him or hanging around back stage. It was a way of having Linda on the road with him 24/7. It kind of struck me as a bit odd and it made Paul look a bit insecure. But it seemed to work for him. Although Linda did get a lot of stick for it. I'm sure she would've been happier just going to a few shows and taking some photos. Edited to add: From widipedia... McCartney had insisted from the beginning of their marriage that his wife should be involved in his musical projects, so that they did not have to be apart when he was on tour http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wings_(band) So poor Linda copped a lot of flack but obviously did it to please Paul.

Teenagers who refuse to work face on the spot fines
If these fines are left unpaid it could really screw up their future in a bad credit rating for renting a house, electricity and phone connections etc. It seems a bit harsh for kids so young to have their futures messed up like this. Especially if they can't afford to pay the fines or if there is a legitimate but unassessed reason why they don't work/study. E.g undiagnosed mental problems, depression etc. Why don't they offer them free access to mental health/coucelling services instead of beating them with the $ stick.

Heather Mills's real enemy is staring at her in the mirror
You can be absolutely positively sure that if Paul did beat Heather that she would've been down The Suns office first thing. She is no long suffering quiet petal. Linda was with Paul until the day she died. They never seperated, they never divorced. Whatever problems they MIGHT have had, they obviously sorted it all out and went on to live a long and happy life together. And just because Paul MIGHT have pushed Linda around (who know's , it might have been only once when he was a lot younger that he might regret) this doesn't mean either a) that he beat Heather up. One incident with Linda doesn't mean what she is saying is true. One doesn't prove the other.....OR B. ) that Paul should be lynched if there was an episode a long time ago. IF it did happen, Linda obviously forgave him and moved along or she wouldn't have stayed married to him till the day she died. Linda never came across to me as the kind of woman who would put up with systematic abuse. I never saw pics of Linda black and blue. I'm sure her friends would've known. It's really none of Heathers business what went on in Linda and Pauls marriage. And it's not the publics business either. If Heather shut her mouth and just moved on, then no one would be discussing her failure of a marriage either.

Heather Mills's real enemy is staring at her in the mirror
Why when things were quiet and Heather was not in the news for a while, she all of a sudden out of nowhere comes onto a TV show to court hatred all over again?? She seems to feed off the negativity. She's probably thinking that if she starts it all up again , she'll get another spot on a high rating American TV Series. I think people are beyond hating her now. I just think everyone wishes she would just go away and disappear. But she seems to have some weird personality trait that just won't let her do that. She acts like she's a bigger star than McCartney.

Tutankhamuns face unveiled to the world
Well they did preserve themselves so they could "live on forever" . He's probably more famous now than he was 3,000 years ago!

Judgement proves why Human Rights Act must be axed
Some countries do seem to blather and bobble around though for fear of being called racists and being unpopular in the international community. Whereas countries like Italy don't give a fig what the outside world thinks of them, they care only for their own and what's best for the majority. Maybe the Italian people back up their government more in situations like this and so they feel more confident in acting.

Police retain DNA of 'petty crime suspects'
It's turning into a slippery slope. They'll soon include anyone who swears in public or drops a cigarette butt on the ground or taking a sickie off work. The offences will keep getting more petty until you'd have to be a new born not to commit some kind of infringement for them to legally take your DNA. Its all putting off the inevitable really. They know they can't make everyone give their DNA by force, so they just do this in a clandestine and under hand way until they achieve what they want anyway. We know what their up to and they know we know. But they know you can't do jack about it if it isn't obvious.

ITV Sitcoms of the ‘70s’ and ‘80s’
70s british comedies have always been popular here in Australia. We recently had the Benny Hill show and Some mothers do have Em as part of a Saturday night comedy festival. I recently bought a DVD collection of Dave Allen who was a genius. I really hate modern comedies as they often have canned applause and they seem to laugh at lines that aren't even funny. The beauty of the old comedies is that they were filmed for real audiences and the audience sound genuinely humoured. Not to mention that the writers of old were just more funny IMO. People are way too serious these days and it shows. Especially in so called comedy writing.

Moby Slams Madonna's 120M Deal
Madonna is getting paid that much because she is worth it. She's an incredibly hard working artist who doesn't rest on her laurels. If they didn't think they could recoup their money, they wouldn't have made the offer.
