  1. Glad you had some fun with it! I had to stop as it was driving me crazy.!! Thisispop....they are really good scores. A few people I know had a bit of trouble even getting in the Top 50. I think the Wizard intros threw them!!
  2. I can't believe that the Mission Impossible 2 sound track was overlooked. The first 6 songs are sublime. Its in my Top 20 albums of all time.
  3. Warning...this is highly addictive!! I have no idea how the top 1 of 50 contestants guessed 12 intros in 9 seconds!! http://www.planetrock.co.uk/article.asp?id=473591
  4. With nearly 60% of the population being fat you can almost guarantee that they will begin demanding rights including the silencing of comedians on their fat jokes. I think the world is a different place these days. People don't really liked being mocked, especially for things that are of a highly personal nature. Once upon a time we could all laugh at ourselves and also laugh at others unfettered. I think the really clever comedians are the ones who can still find material in subjects that aren't necessarily like school yard humour. There is still a lot to laugh about the human condition that doesn't necessarily have to be demeaning or dehumanising to anyone.
  5. Spears is accused of hitting a parked car and driving away. This happens that often in shopping car parks that it's really ridiculous that it's even been reported to the police. There were paps around who recorded the whole thing and who contacted the owner to begin with. I don't know of anyone who has gone to jail for a parking accident. And as for the expired license, I'm sure with all the custody and career pressures she's had of late that a judge wouldn't be understanding as to why she forgot to renew it. No one was hurt and there wasn't that much damage done. It will probably only be a fine and the cost of the damage to the other car that her insurance will probably pay. Britney out of all the trainwrecks is the best driver, this minor offence aside. As nutty as she is she doesn't drive under the influence.
  6. If parents are that worried about their kids activity on the net, they should apply to have a password facility with their ISP providers. Only those that know the password can access the Net. Kids will still be able to use the computer for other things non-internet. Once a parent provides access to the internet they should supervise their kids activities. If anything untoward happens, then the parent have their net access suspended. It's a lot easier to police parents and their kids than it is to police billions of people who access the net around the world every day. (Most of whom aren't bullys, pedos or criminals nor have kids either.)
  7. O J has anger management issues. Look how he acted just because someone stole a few jumpers/ memorabillia items. Guns, armed robbery, kidnapping..... I can just see him going ballistic and killing his wife and his wifes lover, for "stealing" his wife, judging by this latest episode.
  8. No. Internet policing is not the answer. Banning kids from internet access without parental supervision is.
  9. It isn't shock tactics at all. Imagine the absolute chaos if all those 180,000 were kept till full term and put onto the adoption market next year. Child welfare services would be absolutely swamped and there is no way that they could find adoptive parents for all those babies. Not to mention the amount from the year after that etc. Both gay men and lesbians can also concieve naturally through IVF and a lot are doing that as they also want their own biological children. If the parents thought they were in a position to raise a baby then an abortion wouldn't be necessary in the first place. A lot of people don't have the extended family support either which is also another factor in why some abortions take place. There is usually never just one reason alone why a female decides to do this. Grims Dutch model and Mushys very nice romantic ideals should be combined and BOTH of them taught in schools. Another solution would be for the morning after pill to be more widely available so it is actually possible on the morning after to get access to it. It really should be as readily available as condoms. This would greatly reduce the number of abortions also.
  10. Second Chance - 38 Special http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYvYgcYFLis Eye of the Tiger - Survivor http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uELMzJQSKmU Turn me Loose - Loverboy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUcBvGscpwo Precious to Me - Phil Seymour http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdbF__-a3QQ Mickey - Tony Basil http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6lZJWgM2kI Classic - Adrian gurvitz (gonna write it in an attic  ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3MkrtwwEs3A
  11. No. I'm entitled to privacy while I'm on the net and wouldn't want someone watching me from my window so why would I agree to have someone lurking on the net watching everything I do?? Kids should be banned from internet access under a certain age unless parental guidance can be guaranteed for the time they are on it. The parents should be charged and jailed for neglect if their kids access something they shouldn't or get picked up by peadophiles etc. MAKE THE PARENTS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN SPAWN PLEASE not everyone else.
  12. Just remember Romania and how there were SO MANY abandoned babies that the country couldn't cope with the amount to find adopted homes for? They were just left in orphanages to rock back and forth for years on end. Many died of neglect. Yes, we really want a world like that don't we? THERE AREN'T THAT MANY PEOPLE WHO WANT TO ADOPT IN THIS WORLD TO PROVIDE HOMES FOR 180,000 KIDS (PER YEAR IN THE U.K ALONE) LET ALONE FOR THE MILLIONS THAT ARE ABORTED AROUND THE WORLD EVERY YEAR. Just remember one thing..... That could be 180,000 extra kids on welfare PER YEAR if abortion wasn't available. Adoption is NOT the solution. (There are very few women who can't get fertility help through IVF these days to have their own children) Adoptive parents are on the decline in numbers. ABORTION is a last resort for most females. It takes a lot of courage to have one. It isn't as easy as everyone ( men usually) think and to crush another URBAN MYTH ......it is NOT an easier contraception method than the pill or condoms. (pahleeese)
  13. Sorry for the typo on Georges' name. I really should've mentioned that those songs I posted were one hit wonders here in Australia. I'll be sure to mention that from now on. ;)

Great selection!! I must say though that my all time favourite T-Rex song was actually a B-side to Get It On called RAW RAMP. Its a compilation of 3 different songs that goes for about 7 minutes. The actual RAW RAMP song bit is fantastic. 2 1/2 minutes of pure T-Rex!! Baby I like your chest OOOh baby I'm crazy bout your breasts Woman...you think your champ But girl.....you aint nothin but a Raw Ramp.... (whatever that is!!!!)
  15. People have rejected the Size Zero indoctrination and have gone OTT the other way where they don't care what people think. If people want to be fat then let them. If people want to skinny/slim/slender then let them. Its really no ones business but the individuals. Sure, it would be great if we can all be fit and terrific ( I feel bloated when I put on a kilo. I have no idea how some people can carry so much weight around. ) but at the end of the day, you can't dictate to people how they should live. And if you do, people just tune out and miss the message anyway.

90% of the brain that is supposedly isn't used is actually in use constantly. Repairing cells, pumping blood around, making the heart beat etc. There are a billion and one things that the body does every minute to keep us upright. It's all managed by our brains. I know it sounds stupid, but people think that their conscious and sub-conscious are the only things the brain is needed for. They seem to forget the functions of it on a micro-level. I think that there are good and evil forces in the world and so therefore think that there are also positive and negative forces too. I don't know about witchcraft and if I put on a hex/spell on someone that it would work and I would have the power to do that. But I do think that negative forces eminate from somewhere just don't know where.
  17. Beautiful Sunday - Daniel Boone http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vDBT4KchDLo Down by the River - Albert Hammond ( this song still sounds pretty good!) Rock Me Baby - George McRea (still a great slow groove track!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYGPcIfqeu4 Amour'euse - Kiki Dee (her biggest and I think only solo hit) I love it it still stands up as a great ballad. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RwrOpEaWdsQ...ted&search=

You guys in the U.K are so lucky. You get all the good stuff!! I have a burned copy of the concert that Ringo Starr made of T-Rex with a doco that Roland Boland made. The concert is fantastic!! I'm a Bolan fan and think will all the old bands reforming and coming into vogue again, that T-Rex for sure would've jumped on the bandwagon. Although it must be said that T-Rexstacy with some/one??? original members is still treading the boards around the U.K and Europe. You'd be amazed at how many artists have cited Boland and T-Rex as influences. They are icons.

I don't think Cuddly Toy was a hit here in Oz. Only to be with You and This Generation were also hits here.

You missed Roachfords biggest and best hit.... Lay Your Love On Me...awesome song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdb8bccyXDk
  23. Gwen Stefanis early work with No Doubt was credible. Courtney Love and Hole. (Dont think you could call poor Courtney eye candy. ) Dont know if anyone has heard of an Oz band called The Divinyls. But Chrissie Amphlett was a great front lady for the band. Talented vocalist and co-writer.
  24. Its good to see the UK embracing retro artists. Too bad its not the good ones. David Essex and Leo Sayer? There were other artists more worthy of a revival surely? I will say that Rock On by Essex is a classic.
  25. The Captain and Tennille were married. Suzi Quatro was married to Len Tuckey from the suzi quatro band. Wings....paul and linda, after Abba, are probably the most famous married couple who were in the same band.
