Apparently Pink and others in attendance, we're scared for life when Macklemore said 'Free Palestine' and showed war images on the screen during his performance of Hind's Hall!!! What pissed me off the most about Pink’s statement was that she had an entire week to respond to the accusations, but she specifically chose to say something on 9/11, a date that is already a very difficult day for many Americans. On top of that, 9/11 is probably one of the dates most strongly associated with the stereotype of Muslims as terrorists, so choosing that particular day to make the statement felt especially insensitive, but very targeted and on purpose!!! So goodbye to her as well!!!

To be honest, I would feel the same if it was any of the Adele's 10 most streamed songs on her Spotify page!!! She's the one with the most HUGE hits out of all categories!!!

I've been reading the reactions since he was announced, but I am curious to know what kind of restrictions people are expecting to apply to him? Is it his collabs with female artists, because I already see HRVY featuring a female singer in this round already!!!

Sorry but you're posting and you should very well expect people to have reaction and respond to your posts!!! I think we're all aware by now of Macklemore’s past controversy and no one is excusing it. He apologized, and I believe people can acknowledge past mistakes while still recognizing that someone has the right to speak out about Palestinian suffering and human rights. What bothers me these days is that the way support for Palestinians seems to be so quickly equated with antisemitism. Those are not the same thing. You can condemn antisemitism while also standing firmly against the suffering of Palestinian civilians. I think we need to be very careful not to blur those lines!!! I’m especially disappointed in Ed because he has always presented himself as “apolitical.” But when someone is removed from your tour because of a political message, choosing not to take a stand is still a choice with consequences. I stand with Macklemore on this. Not because I agree with everything he has ever said or done, but because I believe Palestinians deserve a voice, dignity, safety and freedom. And I don’t believe speaking up for them should be silenced.

For real!!! Any of her other peers would be amazing to have a forum instead of hers!!!
