I have voted yesterday, and I have done my listening differently this time!!! I had the playlist on shuffle for past 3 days, and I must say that I really enjoyed doing that way. And the most fun part was when I was making my Top 10 finding out what countries were behind those entries…there were few shock surprises and few obvious ones but what I really loved the most was the fact that I still ended up voting for few countries that I frequently vote…I might continue do this from now and on <3

Her success is something I never understood but kudos to her Also I can’t believe that I haven’t heard yet any of the songs from the new album…maybe it just happens for me to be in places where they don’t play her, but still I’m surprised considering she’s the biggest star etc. etc. And I’m not trying to make comparisons, but last time something of this caliber happened it was Adele ‘Hello’ and I remember hearing it everywhere etc. etc.

I already told you that he asked for it... Ella Red's new dark-pop/alt-pop anthem 'He Asked For It' is representing our country in BJSC178, hosted by Neliönoir!!! The song is a deliberate inversion of the common phrase "she asked for it," which historically has been used (wrongly) to justify violence or blame victims, especially women. Ella Red turns it around and in her version, the man “asked for it”, subverting that trope. Please enjoy it <3

I haven't listened to it and I intent not to just like her last 4-5 albums lol, but it amazes me how big she's become. So I think this easily will get close to 500k!!! EDIT: And the reasons why is because this album has only 12 songs apparently, (compare to her last one which was what double album or something?!!!) and the streams will just be so much easier to achieve record breaking numbers etc. etc..

Aweee Lost On You I sent live version because that was the first version I’ve heard it and it captured LP’s raw vocal power, grit, and emotional delivery in a way that the studio version lacked for me. Also the live setting, I just felt like it brought intimacy and an extra layer of emotions. I forgot that it did only ‘okay’ on a regular contest, but I think it did much better on the Best Of Year contest ❤️
