  1. Not changed from CBB7. They need to get a move on :o
  2. Someone on another forum suggested the prize money will be in the entrance this year, hence 'the housemates will have to look a million times' teaser (prize money expected to my £1 million). Would be very cool if true
  3. House pictures released Saturday morning at 00:01 I am going to try and hold out for the first time and let it be a surprise on Wednesday, making the last launch extra special

  5. Apparently: - The two stripes may signal something that will make half of our housemates green - The price fund has changed…the news will make you want to drop - Big means small this year? - Someone is under command, but who is taking control? - When they walk down the stairs they should look a million times
  6. I adore the album cover. Songs are great as well

WOW! Fantastic finale. Quite different to what I expected but great nonetheless. I hope the 24 rip-off show doesn't go ahead. It would be an insult, especially to Keifer who made the show. I am glad they wrapped the Alison Taylor story up nicely. She should never have gone along with Logan. The thing that annoyed me about that storyline is that it goes everything we knew about her from Redemption/Season 7. She even sent her own daughter to prison for goodness sake for what she did against her country. I ended up feeling quite sorry for her in the end, Cherry Jones is such a brilliant actress. The Chloe/Jack scenes in particular were excellent and at times quite moving; when Jack tells Chloe to shoot him and then in the final minutes when Jack says thanks to Chloe. My own problem is that because it wasn't announced this would be the last series until half way through the series, maybe it could have been written a little better? If they had known from the start maybe things would have been a little different? It seems to have got little coverage compared to Lost. For me, 24 is the stronger show. It's much more consistent and deserves to go out with the recognition it deserves. Nevertheless it was very exciting right until the end and sets it up nicely for the film(s).
  8. http://www.fredperrysubculture.com/bandimages/main/klaxons04.jpg Klaxons have named their second album 'Surfing The Void'. The album, the follow-up to their 2007 debut 'Myths Of The Near Future', will feature ten new songs and will be preceded by a single, 'Echoes', released August 16. The album follows on August 23. It was produced by Ross Robinson (Korn, Slipknot) in Los Angeles following various aborted and rejected album sessions, including Milan sessions with producer James Ford. Klaxons recently made album track 'Flashover' available to listen to online. The tracklisting of 'Surfing The Void' is: 'Echoes' 'Same Space' 'Surfing The Void' 'Valley Of The Calm Trees' 'Venusia' 'Extra Astronomical' 'Twin Flames' 'Flashover' 'Future Memories' 'Cypher Speed'

  15. So, for the first time in four years we have a decent ad campaign. Really pleased about the billboards. Channel 4 seem to be keeping their promise to make sure the series goes out with a bang. Wednesday 9th June heavily rumoured as launch night :)
  16. Over the last decade, the Big Brother Eye has become one of the most familiar and iconic emblems of any TV show. With the final series on Channel 4 due to start in a matter of weeks the last Big Brother Eye has, at last, been revealed to eagerly awaiting fans. Made up of hundreds of brightly coloured flowers the Big Brother 11 Eye is a vibrant floral tribute marking the end of Big Brother and the eleven years of entertainment the show has brought its millions of fans over the summer months. This tribute is echoed in the start of the new trailer for the series which depicts the final farewell of the Big Brother Diary Room chair. But in true Big Brother style things do not remain sombre for long. On Monday night, directly following Davina McCall's new show, The Million Pound Drop Live (opens in a new window), on Channel 4 viewers will see the trail on TV for the first time. The trailer shows a sombre funeral presided over by voice of Big Brother Marcus Bentley, and attended by former Housemates loved and loathed, as they bid fond farewell to the show that made them household names. But, as the diary room chair is lowered into the ground the scene erupts into a colourful mardi gras as the true nature of the show is celebrated with a joyful explosion of confetti, carnival music and dancing. Offering a glimpse of what they can expect from the final series the trail communicates to fans that although this may be the end there are still a few more surprises in store. David Williams, Commissioning Editor for Big Brother at Channel 4 said "Yes the series is ending and yes we wanted to mark that but we also wanted to show viewers that Big Brother is essentially an incredible entertainment show and there are plans afoot to ensure that a carnival atmosphere of fun and enjoyment will be at the forefront for what we hope will be a lively final series." Viewers are invited to watch Davina’s new show, The Million Pound Drop Live (opens in a new window), on Monday at 10pm to see the trail for the first time on Channel 4 directly following this.

I laughed out loud when Logan said 'It's Jack Bauer, he's coming for me'.

Logan still really riles me up. Fantastic episode, agree with what you said about the last scene with the Russians.
  25. Freddie really wound me up in the first week but I am so glad he stayed. One of my favourite housemates. LOVED Marcus and his rebellious ways. The episode where Lisa (who lives not far from me :P) and David went to London and the rest of the housemates broke into the camera runs was my personal highlight. So funny. Really didn't like Charlie, saw through him from the start. That said, him and Rodrigo did provide some great moments
