  1. Still don't see The Libertines thing but would be amazing if they did. Not fond of the Guns N' Roses rumours. Can't wait for the announcement now, very exciting
  2. I'd be outraged if MCR headlined over someone like Lostprophets. Give MCR have just lost their drummer and haven't finished their album surely they won't play? Or maybe that's just wishful thinking. I don't mind them, but they're not a headliner in my opinion.
  3. I read something about one of the organisers saying one of our headliners is "bigger than Jay-Z", which could back up the Eminem rumours?
  4. I am sure it'll be good regardless. It'll be my 5th year as well (providing I can get a ticket). I read today Guns N' Roses and The Libertines are also potential headliners. Don't like Guns N' Roses enough to watch a whole headline set I don't think and I wouldn't have thought The Libertines would be playing until next year at least, if they reform at all? Paramore, You Me At Six, Cribs, Lostprophets all seem to be strongly suggested so I reckon I'll see all of them clashes aside.
  5. Just over a week to go until tickets go on sale and the line-up is announced. Arcade Fire, Blink 182 and My Chemical Romance seem to be the main rumours for headliners. Not that bothered about MCR and don't think Arcade Fire are quite at the headliner stage yet but who knows. Excitement :D

  8. The physical single is £4.99 in HMV. Not really helping matters
  9. Brilliant :D Here's hoping they don't clash with anyone major this year. Honestly that clash with Radiohead was annoying
  10. First single 'Watercolour' was played for the first time on Zane Lowe tonight Not a great departure from their stuff but I'd imagine it'll be big nontheless Album 'Immersion' should be out at some point in May
  11. Why can't they tour anywhere near me? :( Hopefully they'll be at Leeds or do another tour (arena?) before the year's out Anyway, 'For He's A Jolly Good Felon' is the next single. Out 5th April I believe :)

  14. Video's out on Monday, presumably through their official site
  15. Rich posted a post in a topic in Pop and Country
Why isn't 'Lights' on the album? Rubbish :(
  16. Really impressed with this. Find it a lot easier to listen to than his debut. Opener, 'Dead Head Blues' is my favorite
  17. Seems it is D-Sides/Stylo yes. There's hope yet
  18. Saw the album cover earlier but can't get back onto where I was. Anyway, quite like the first single :)
  19. Listening now. It seems legit. Not impressed so far :( 2nd track is awful
  20. Very much looking forward to this and seeing them live again. Wanting 'Heartbeat Song' to leak in HQ :(
  21. Bar, 'You Overdid It Doll' the album does nothing for me
  22. http://www.recordstore.co.uk/images/covers09/12.2009/the_courteeners_falcon.jpg Tracklisting 1. The Opener 2. Take Over The World 3. Cross My Heart & Hope To Fly 4. You Overdid It Doll 5. Lullaby 6. Good Times Are Calling 7. The Rest Of The World Has Gone Home 8. Sycophant 9. Cameo Brooch 10. Scratch Your Name Upon My Lips 11. Last Of The Ladies 12. Will It Be This Way Forever? Never been a fan of this band whatsoever but I must admit 'You Overdid It Doll' has really taken me by surprise. It's a cracking little single in fact. I know it's getting quite a bit of play on Radio 1. Hope it does well for them. Am I alone in thinking this or do others agree?

  24. I don't think they can make a decent album. I like a few of their singles but find their LP's hard to listen to. Agreed that 'I Feel Better' is great though Dandy*
