Locked in House with the shutters down, they were oblivious to the goings on outside. At 11:15am Big Brother granted access to the Garden and revealed part of a huge new task; a giant table, resembling part of an amusement park ride and attached to a crane which had lowered it into the house. The Housemates could only speculate at what the task could involve.

Diary room chair broke earlier today so it was replaced at the last minute. Housemates have broken this one as well :lol: A replacement is on the way

Did anyone see BBLB? The outside of the house looks lovely, in keeping with the carnival theme (still not seen the inside). Potential housemates were on as well, some of whom were quickly interviewed. On first impressions none stood out :lol: Hoping the regulars from the Big Mouth audience (Graham and his wife) don't make it in. Don't like how they have all met already :(

01 The original and one of the best. Obviously the Nick storyline is the highlight. If it wasn't for him BB wouldn't have been anywhere near as big. 02 Great series but didn't match it's predecessor. Liked Dean and Brian. 03 Up there with the best. Superb cast and excellent tasks. Very close final as well. Comprende? 04 I quite enjoyed it at the time. Cameron was my favorite so glad he won. Liked Tickle as well so was good when he came back. 05 My favorite series ever. Fantastic revamp of the show. Bedsit/fight night up there with best BB moments. Victor my personal fav. 06 Excellent series, loved the secret tasks. Shame Eugene didn't win. Never really liked Anthony. Box and counting tasks were brilliant. 07 Amazing series from the off. Shabhaz dominated the first week. Only downside was knowing the winner from launch night. 08 Enjoyed it at the time. On reflection it wasn't the best. Female launch was a terrible idea! 09 Excellent year. Mario's health and safety talks kept me amused as did Rex (who should have won). 10 Fantastic. One of the best to date. Didn't like Halfwit to start with but became one of my fav's along with Marcus and Siavash.

Emergency services attended Mr Cable's house at Llwydcoed near Aberdare, Cynon Valley, at 0500 BST on Monday. South Wales Police said the cause of death had not been established but there were no suspicious circumstances at this stage. Mr Cable, who left the Stereophonics in 2003, had hosted his rock show on BBC Radio Wales on Saturday. South Wales Police confirmed they were investigating the sudden death of a 40-year-old man at an address in Llwydcoed. Next of kin have been informed. His death comes just two days after Mr Cable's former band Stereophonics played at Cardiff City Stadium. The band was formed in Cwmaman near Aberdare. in 1992 by school friends Kelly and Richard Jones along with Mr Cable, who was four years older. Within five years they were rising stars, supporting bands such as the Rolling Stones and U2. Mr Cable has said he was planning to leave the band before he was sacked in September 2003. He also said he had no regrets about leaving the band. He later formed a new group called Killing for Company, who were due to play at the Download festival Donington Park on Saturday. The band's new album is due for release to coincide with it. Mike Peters, lead singer with The Alarm, said Cable's band had only recently played with them and his death was a "real shock" and a "real tragedy" "He was supposed to be joining us for Rhondda Rocks. I will remember him as someone who was so alive - I can't believe he's gone. I don't know what the circumstances are but it's a real tragedy. "He was always smiling and laughing and great to be around. He had lots of energy and couldn't wait for the next day to come around. "He was a larger than life character who seemed to be a driving force behind the personality of the Stereophonics." Another tribute came from Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles, who said he was "very shocked" to hear the news. "He was always lovely when we met. Love to his family and friends. RIP," he said on his Twitter feed. Cable's autobiography, Demons and Cocktails, was released in 2009. The autobiography shed light on tensions between Cable and Stereophonics vocalist Kelly Jones which eventually led to the drummer's departure. Cable revealed the split was mainly sparked off by Jones' desire to produce the band's third album. There were also said to be tensions in the band about Cable's burgeoning career as a presenter. He hosted his own TV show, Cable TV, and radio show, Cable Rock, for BBC Wales. He has also been involved in a variety of other projects. In March 2002, he took part in a BBC Wales social action campaign urging young men to look out for the warning signs of testicular cancer. In autumn 2007 Cable quit the BBC to launch a Cardiff-based branch of rock station XFM, which closed after six months on air.
