Another good episode with the perfect final group. The performance songs during the concert auditions have been good too. 'Finesse' for the boyband and 'Cake By The Ocean' for the mixed group. Still think the rehearsal stage feels a little rushed but I understand the need to focus on the auditions in order for viewers to connect with the contestants and ultimately root for them.

First episode was great! They chose the right 5 to make the band. Agree, the auditions could be shorter to give more time to the rehearsal stage. It felt like we missed a crucial step where the members get familiar with each other's voices and learn their individual parts - melody, high/low harmonies. Can't wait for the 'industry pros' to come in and assist the girls which will add another layer of credibility to the show. Can't wait for the other categories!

I'm really excited for the girls. Someone mentioned a few months back this being a really crucial period for them. If all goes well and the public's interest in them grows significantly that will set them up for a big 10 year anniversary. Similar to Girls Aloud, "A Night With..." special and 10 Year documentary could be on the cards. It would be nice for the general public to properly consider them UK pop royalty alongside Adele, Ed Sheeran which IMO still isn't the case just yet.

I can't get over Perrie's disappointment with the Holiday MV :lol: The girls are about to serve us CHOREO!

Imagine if an artist swoops in last minute with a surprise release and Kylie/Little Mix both miss the #1 spot :lol: I hope the girls have a lot of promo lined up and don't just rely on The Search - though that will certainly be huge for them. What other big shows will be airing in October/November?

They really made that song their own :cry: That key was definitely a sweet spot for all of their voices. The R&B feel, the harmonies, the emotion. A ballad like THIS please on the new album!

I really hope they incorporate harmonies in the choruses for BUS and Holiday. How stunning would it be to hear them back Jade during her part on Holiday! I can’t stand when they sing in unison during SOTME acoustic performances lol Give us Touch quality across the board please girls :D

The true test will be when the music video is released. Fingers crossed for major replay value. I agree there's a lot riding on this era after LM5. Hoping for the MV on Friday and performances very soon!

Please can someone explain to me why LM can’t leave Columbia? What are their contractual obligations? Wouldn’t the minimum effort from the label be to send the song out to radio stations?

Agree - would love to see them continue to push the song and promote the discount to avoid ACR. Surely this would only help as seen in Dua's case. Really envisioned them being the Queens of Lockdown Promo. Two things I would still love to see: an at home performance (not too late, even just for the fans) + at least one televised performance (though I can't think of any opportunities anymore).

To think she's been filming the show ALL THIS TIME while serving us TikTok videos and jumping on multiple video calls/radio interviews... we're really being fed! This girl's been working hard! :D

One I've Been Missing :D

I actually think Bounce Back's sound was pretty relevant at the time. Bounce music could be heard on US radio through songs like Drake's Nice For What. I think where they fell slightly short was with the visuals (hear me out!) - music video was STUNNING and they SERVED multiple looks until the breakdown comes in. That awkward choreography felt like some weird confusing middle ground and an attempt to try and keep things PG for their younger fans. They had that CRINGEY Voice Australia performance with the cheap wire fence stage setup and dated graffitti wall... :cry: They've tried to correct this in future performances on tour. Bounce is inherently twerk music and minus Leigh's 2 second shot in the video - they didn't really capture this vibe at all. It always made sense to me that Normani was linked to this track. Now imagine her performing this song. In short: decent song, stunning video, not enough choreo in the video, not the right choreo for the track.

Does anyone know if the song was given any kind of push on US radio? They've done quite a lot of online interviews with radio stations around the world (even Singapore). Is a US station really that difficult to book? Sam Smith jumped on a call with Ryan Seacrest recently - wish the girls could do the same!
