On a separate note, has anyone noticed that the Wrong Impression single and accompanying B-sides have been added to streaming platforms? Does anyone have more info about this? Is this a one-off or part of a wider strategy to have all her singles and B-sides released digitally and on streaming?
  2. Does anyone have an mp3 copy of her BBC performance (The Quay Sessions) from Nov 2016? The BBC has taken it down from its website: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b080xks2
  3. I agree. Lukas, Fun, Twenty and Scars were all potential singles. Dunno why she went with Want - I was never keen on this song. Still gutted we got an acoustic mix of Scars as the album version. I still believe she should have kept the original version and included it in the album. Regarding the Single Version of Scars, does anybody know where else it is available besides the Ovi Store?
  4. Thank you! :) I'm loving her new single, Put Your Hands Up. She managed to reinvent herself but still remain true to her singer-songwriter genre. Bring on May 30th!!! I really hope the deluxe edition is also released on CD.
  5. Good album indeed, especially the first half, but it pales in comparison with Counting Down The Days. Not sure if she is recording new music, apparently she is unsure whether she wants to continue releasing music. At this stage she is "going with the flow" and based on how things go she might or might not record new music... I went to the Dubai (UAE) Ovi Store, which is where I live, and Scars was nowhere to be found... :( It is nowhere on itunes either. So far the only places that have the single version are Ovi stores in the UK and Ireland... I hope it gets posted / released on other websites eventually...
  6. Bringing back an old topic... Does anyone own the Buckminster Fuller EP? If yes, I would like to know if opening track "It Starts" is the same version as the one on The Graduate? Really looking forward to Year of the Wolf!!!
  7. Apparently the Single Version of Scars finally made its way to Ireland's OVI store: http://music.ovi.com/ie/en/pc/Product/Nata...ersion-/9893073 Any generous Irish Natalie fans out there? lol :-)
  8. Not sure whether this means he's working on new stuff with her or if he's just using some of Hard Candy's outtakes to include on the upcoming Neptunes LP...
  9. From Digital Spy: Pharrell: 'New Neptunes LP demands sweat' Wednesday, December 29 2010, 16:46 GMT By Mayer Nissim, Senior Entertainment Reporter Pharrell Williams has said that the second Neptunes album will be "vicious". The producer told the Herald Sun that there was not yet a release date for his and Chad Hugo's follow-up to 2003's The Neptunes Present... Clones. Williams said: "This new Neptunes record we're working on right now is vicious. It's definitely harder - it totally demands sweat." Asked to compare Neptunes to his and Hugo's work as part of N.E.R.D, he added: "Music is music, but with N.E.R.D we put more of our personality into it, that's just us being us. "With Neptunes we produce for a lot of people so we allow space for their personalities, for them to be themselves, and our music sort of commandeers the direction a bit." Discussing his current work, Williams said: "The new stuff has been going well. We've been playing with Gorillaz on the road so it has been fun. They are awesome - there were so many people on stage it was like Parliament psychedelic up there. "I've just been all over the place from project to project... and there's another Despicable Me [soundtrack]. We've also got some stuff going on with Madonna."
  10. Well I read somewhere online that there will be no new Madonna album before 2012. :( And that's according to Live Nation... http://loft965.com/2010/08/12/madonna-to-r...-album-in-2012/

I just saw on E! Entertainment the other day that she has recently undergone 10 plastic surgery procedures in a single day!!! Apparently she spent all her money (around USD 30K) on those procedures and she is now literally broke. They also talked about how convinced she was that this (plus her so-called strong debut album) is going to launch her career big time etc. etc. Someone bring some originality back to the pop industry please! :puke2:

Madonna's first Live Nation album should drop towards the end of 2010, so looking forward to that! Here's hoping she explores a new sound. It's been a long time coming!
  13. Is the following item real? This eBay auction states that the Japanese edition will include one bonus track, called Flirting. http://cgi.ebay.com/NATALIE-IMBRUGLIA-COME...p3286.m20.l1116 Can anyone shed some light on the subject?

Yeah, I don't understand I'm Yours' longevity. It debuted more than a year ago, dropped a bit a few months later, and then resurged around late 2008 - early 2009 and seems to be creeping up and down the charts ever since! This has hindered his chances of having decent follow-up hits. For instance, I personally think Make It Mine is miles better.
  15. OK, so what the heck is going on with this project? I read on Twitter that she was off to Hawaii working on side projects... I thought the album was complete and mastered, so what is she waiting for? First single was supposed to debut in July. Surely we would have got at least some sort of info by now?! :(
  16. What the heck is delaying this whole project? <_< I thought the album was ready and the reason for the delay was the addition of the 3 Chris Martin tracks which have already been recorded by now? May is starting in a week's time and we have no news yet... Don't want to sound pessimistic, but we'll be lucky if the album sees the light of day in 2009.
  17. No news of the album? Release dates, tracklisting, or first single info? The record is supposed to come out next month... We should hear sthg by now if it hasn't been delayed yet again. :(
  18. Another article on the Chris Martin collaboration: Martin regrets donating song to Imbruglia (Wednesday March 04, 2009 11:27 AM) Coldplay frontman Chris Martin regrets donating a track to Australian singer Natalie Imbruglia - because it is the band's "best song of all time." Martin collaborated with Imbruglia on her upcoming album Come To Life, which is due for release later this year. The Yellow hitmaker offered her a new song he had written for Coldplay, because the rockers are currently between recording albums. And Martin admits he will always regret the decision because he is so fiercely proud of the track. He says, "A bit annoyingly we've given her the best Coldplay song of all time, but because we're off-cycle we can't do it ourselves. "Half of me wishes we still had it. But she sounds f**king brilliant on it. I think she has a very unique talent and an incredibly unique voice.'' Source: Yahoo! Music
  19. She is apparently working with Chris Martin now: "Natalie Imbruglia and Chris Martin have been recording together for her new album, according to reports. The Aussie pop star and former "Neighbours" actress was pictured in London this week, after presenting an award at The BRITS. She was also in attendance at Coldplay's exclusive War Child concert at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire. A UK tabloid claims the singer has been working on material with the band's singer for release later this year. Imbruglia's last album, "Counting Down The Days", came out in 2005." Source: Yahoo! Music
  20. Where is it possible to download the B-Side 'Cubicles'? The track is not included in the itunes bundle... :(
  21. It will be her 4th studio album, 5th album overall.
  22. Really? Oops... :( I will edit my first post then to avoid misleading others...
  23. Hope Kylie's version will sound as good! Very 80's electro, different from what I was expecting, definitely a contender for #1. Can't wait for the single and album to be released, they're already on my shopping wishlist. Download the song via the website http://elbo.ws/, just search for "kylie 2 hearts".
  24. If she does end up leaving Warners, I think this will mark the beginning of endless Madonna compilations milking her back-catalogue, including rare and unreleased tracks. Or will Madonna still own the copyrights to these recordings?
