    1. Which download sites have you used in the past 12 months? Which would you say is your most frequently used?

    I've used iTunes, 7digital and Amazon MP3. I use iTunes most though.

     

    2. Would you say that the sound quality of the music downloads is good from the site you use most frequently? How does it compare to others you have used?

    It's perfectly fine for me! I don't really notice a difference between them.

     

    3. Are the downloads adequately priced off the download site you use most frequently? How does the price compare to other download sites?

    Often it's cheaper on iTunes, so that works out for me. Most things tend to be selling at a good price, which normally helps me decide whether I want it or not.

     

    4. Do you take advantage of offers that download sites have? I.e. 59p tracks off iTunes, 10 tracks for £3 off Amazon. Have you ever changed download sites due to offers.

    I don't really take advantage of the offers, only when, for example, the 59p song would be one I haven't got and that I like. Otherwise there's no point. I don't wait for a price reduction, I'll just buy it as soon as it comes out.

     

    5. What would you say was the biggest contributing factor for using the download site you use most frequently?

    Probably the price, and the fact that I use my iPod more than anything so iTunes is the easiest for that really.

    Hey! I am doing an audience analysis project at uni, and I have chosen a topic I find particularly interesting and close to my heart. Basically I am trying to find out which LEGAL music download sites are the most popular and more importantly, why. I already have a sneaky suspicion that it is iTunes, however I need evidence to prove it, which is why I am asking for your help. If you could be dears and answer the following questions for me, I would appreciate it greatly. Your comments will remain completely anonymous, and feel free to write as much as you wish. I am looking for qualitative data, not quantitative data, which is why I am not doing a questionnaire.

    Did anybody know that David hasn't posted since 2010? Anybody? No? OK. Regardless of the vanishing act nobody noticed, I remember when David was dressing up as women in "school plays" (see the gallery for evidence) and cavorting with that most infamous of Buzzjack's dregs - Matt with dot. Perhaps it's not surprising then that these days he prefers to lay it low.

     

    I have since become a 'lurker'. I still visit more or less everyday, but I seem to have grown out of it somewhat. I am astounded I am so high up the list.
