Massive YES to the non stop version finally being available on streaming!!! I’ve always loved the album but it definitely sounds better in this format. One of the best produced albums ever. I’m gonna listen tomorrow ❣️

Twitter has been crazy the last two days with TOTAL MAYHEM rumours, we’re supposedly getting a new single (Whether this means a brand new track or a track we know and love is getting a push…) and supposed new European dates coming at the end of the month?! I do feel like Mother is teasing something. Didn’t she mention a ballad that she loved but it didn’t make the final tracklist for the original MAYHEM what if those lyrics are off of that?

Just thinking here re female solo / female fronted British acts. None are on 5 Number one albums right? So Florence would be the first should Everybody Scream hang on!

Agree with Jade here that Fairchild is the lyrical highlight but the entire album is really powerfully done! Such a strong album. King Dave does it again.

There was a rumour before The Dead Dance video dropped that there was a short film shot (I believe the rumour was that it was Garden of Eden - Zombieboy - Princess Die and The Dead Dance). The plot of The Dead Dance music video actually matched what was on the “leak” too!

I feel like this has sadly become my least favourite album she’s done (potentially ever…). It’s actually quite a short album by her too so you’d think that would mean less filler but there’s only at a push 5 tracks from this album that I can say I’ve regularly sought out to play since I first heard the album. The fact she’s been able to pull such huge sales is obviously impressive and she’s marketed the campaign well as she always does but the music itself just isn’t grabbing me much.

I also really liked this on first listen and it was a very fitting release date too! It would really work as a theatrical piece / visual album and I think in a live setting these tracks will really come alive.

I’m kind of envisioning a Richard / Cameron / Caroline battle for the win but for some reason I think ITV could push for it to be Richard / Caroline for the final 2. I honestly think the vote being save will work in Caroline’s favour and she’d pick up more votes than most. I really feel like that’s our top 3! I’d have loved Jenny from Derry there but think at best she’s 4th now.

I think we might actually get enough of a boost from streams today and tomorrow to potentially dodge ACR?! But yeah even if we don’t it’s still overall done its thing and helped get MAYHEM back on our album charts and id say it’s probably at this point more known to the general public than what Disease was. Hopefully it does dodge but I just hope it stays top 40 so she can reach 400 weeks top 40 in the UK across all tracks. We’re currently on 399!

Really hope that next week when the physicals for the UK ship that she can get herself at least a low top 40 position for the album. Didn’t end up making the top 100 this week based from streaming units / downloads. It’s a shame as the albums genuinely really good (and her last 5 albums all made the UK top ten!)

As per her OCC artist page Gaga now has 399 weeks inside the UK singles chart top 40! Here’s hoping The Dead Dance hangs on this week to get it a nice round 400 weeks!

MAYHEM is #70 this week in the UK! 27th week inside the top 100! Hoping for Halloween boost this week but good to see it still top 75 especially with the busy release schedule this week.

Lily’s often hit/miss for me. Her first two albums were definitely my favourites from her then Sheezus and No Shame I’d say had me feeling luke warm. This is definitely more instant of first listen and is on par I’d say with the first two albums. I’ve already wanted to hear some tracks again!

Perfect Illusion is actually quite MAYHEM coded in a sense!

Busy week with new releases this week! I think it should at least stay top 75 this week. Last week we had a climb from the mids and there’s a few albums I can see MAYHEM overtaking come Friday! (Still kinda wish MAYHEM was ahead of The Fame though!).

I feel like with this series when the housemates do have lighter moments and genuine FUN we perhaps just don’t see it. C4 kinda struck a balance where the rows were blazing and we’d see those but you also seen the genuine fun / choas that can happen but with this series it feels Like we never see the banter / lighter moments in the main series and that almost every episode has a political conversation which can be a interesting talking point (but to an extent and not like regularly).

Caroline leaving would feel disastrous to me as would Jenny going they’re the main two giving content for me. Farida is chaotic and camp but I completely see how and why she was evictee first in her original series 😆. I really hope casting is better next series if ITV get another series. I know I’ll likely never get anything anywhere near a C4 level series but there’s elements of the show now being too woke. Like look at the comments re Jenny from last nights show, sometimes I wonder if I’m seeing a completely different show to others based of how they see HMs.

I’ve always found Elsa genuinely hilarious in a completely unintentional way and she’s really sweet as well I don’t actually feel she’s putting things on I find her so genuine. I hope she goes far!

The scoring was very bizarre! There’s no way the dances what scored 28 could all be seen as on the same level 🤣

Genuinely shocked for Lily there! Maybe the sudden drop and releasing it once was actually beneficial here. I hope that other British female acts from the 00s decade can get love on streaming andwith new music too. Aside from Leona with One More Sleep (and ofc Adele) I can’t think of many others who would get streaming chart dents like that. Maybe Florence but I’m honestly stunned at Lily here! I wouldn’t rule out the album going to number one when the physicals ship in January.

This is good and a bit of a welcome change in direction for her to release music like this. She’s done ballads and pop / rock great in the past but she actually suits this more dance focused style of music a lot more than I anticipated she would have. I hope it does something chart wise!

I seen the final Newcastle show and she was fantastic!

I know right! I had it in my head and just couldn’t resist in the end 😆. I can’t wait to finally experience this show in real life though genuinely looks like her all time greatest setlist / concept / tour as well as it feeling like it’s happening at a time when she’s the happiest she’s ever been personally too.
