Florence has always been consistent with me! So I’m here for new music and also really hoping if there’s live shows I can attend one as they’re one act I’ve not seen yet who id really like to see! Free was also my main take from the Dance Fever era too!

Intrigued at peoples thoughts here. Now MAYHEM has had its time to shine and enough time released for us to fully absorb it how do you compare it against Chromatica the album that it followed? For me I feel like MAYHEM is cementing itself as part of Gaga’s holy trinity after Born This Way and The Fame Monster. I love pretty much every track, much prefer the production and the passion she clearly feels for this era as a whole. I can only dream that we’ll get more to come from MAYHEM in terms of one more song getting a single push or video but it’s her best work in over a decade for me! Chromatica I loved at the time but don’t often return to it much these days and I think you can see it’s an era Gaga herself doesn’t overly associate with anymore (although The Chromatica Ball was absolutely fantastic).

Chappell is such a genuine stan! I have to say as well I’ll kinda forever be a Joanne defender! It’s almost always ranked at the bottom of most people’s lists of their favourite Gaga albums but I honestly feel like it’s a big step up from ARTPOP (and these days i actually go backto it more than Chromatica). I’ll never quite get the logic for Perfect Illusion leading the campaign (Diamond Heart really needed that slot) and I think if Dancin In Circles got a push it could’ve been quite the hit! I do really respect Gaga for putting out Joanne though. It was kinda genius in ways for her to takeaway all the Gaga things and strip back and showcase herself In that kind of way. Million Reasons is kinda a staple for her now but this being the era where we also had SuperBowl, 5ft2 and the Joanne tour as well which I attended the very last show of! In some ways i actually feel like Joanne was her real “ahead of its time“ era. It may have been appreciated more in a different time perhaps after A Star Is Born but I still feel like it had an impact on music as we did see quite a few household name type artists go in that kind of direction after Gaga did!

Still one of my favourite Gaga single / video combinations. Deserved more at the time but I think it’s one of those tracks from her that’s had more love as years have went buy. I think it’s viral moment on a big scale is still to come too!

I quite like the album title! folklore and evermore are my favourite albums by her but I am kinda here for her to go back into the pop world if that’s what this album is (and going off rumours I’m kinda hyped by the people rumoured to be involved on the production side). Tortured Poets for me was a strong album but a very long one! I half wish the Anthology part of that era dropped 6 month later than it did so that I could immerse myself with the tracks better across time. I think we now likely have the year end albums #1 too!

Coming back to this as I’ve been listening to Amy quite a bit over the last few days or so! She’s honestly the biggest wasted talent in music for me ☹️. Back to Black soon to be 20 years old as well is mind blowing. Both her albums have that timeless feel to them and I genuinely think Back to Black and all the singles from it would still see chart success if they were released today.

I’m in two minds here! I do think she’s due a break (and a deserved one at that rate) but then I do respect the way she’s so career focused and still actively loves and wants to make music. A lot of female artists don’t seem to have that genuine love for what they do the way Taylor does so a new era im here for! Especially as it doesn’t seem like the remaining Taylor’s version albums are coming imminently. I wonder if this will drop November time but we may potentially get a pre order next month. Hard to tell on if she’ll drop a in advance lead single though because she doesn’t necessarily need too to drum up hype or pre orders it’s already there and she’s in another league to literally anyone else..

Dope being used was a bit of a surprise! Even more intrigued now at what’s getting the bow at the next show! Unrelated to the tour but what wedding we thinks happening these next two weeks? Wednesday press tour? Surprise music video? Or just a break for mother… Dead Dance is obviously coming but some rumours circulated about that being a short film with some other songs also being used in that.

I definitely hear early Olly Murs too (infact it kinda sounds like a early career single in general) not like something you’d be putting out when you’re on album #8! Echoing what others have said in that He’s done worse though but he’s also done a lot better! The music videos kinda a miss for me I hate these kinds of cheesy comedy esque music videos but I don’t think the visual side of things has ever been a thing for Ed and the housewives and straights are bound to adore it 🫠

I’m willing to restart solo Perrie now and have this be her (real) solo debut! Hoping (like others) that she’s not left it too late / let the hype dry up by what’s come before hand but this is a lot definitely a lot more promising!

Closing this Monday!! What’s my Name got my vote here but they are all solid. I’ve really fallen back in love now with We Found Love too after finding it overplayed for a time it’s going back to being a track I love again now. Still rooting for an Umbrella win though!

Thank you Daniel for the news each week on what’s getting certified! She’s really racking up these certs and with album tracks too! 70M units is insane! HITmaker. And just imagine if she releases a new project how much higher her discography will be boosted as well as the new material!

Very intrigued to see what the next song to get the bow is! It’s actually kinda more interesting that after the next show we have a gap between shows right?! But Dope really feels like a song that just wouldn’t be used for the bow? I mean it could lyrically sort of fit within the show I guess but it’s not fitting for the bow and Do What U Want is kinda non existent now due to R Kelly! What are other stans thinking is gonna happen for the bow after this? Another era beginning / fan favourite tracks what weren’t on a project Gaga released?…

I’m guessing it’s likely not too far outside! I can only really judge of Apples album chart and it’s consistently between #40 and #55 on there. And globally it’s done consistent numbers too for this stage as well. I wonder how Dead Dance will help this out. Obviously it’s not on the album but it may have a small enough impact right? On other countries charts it’s done consistently too right? The UKs run just looks so short in comparison to the US.

Back on sales chart in UK at #79! But still outside the top 100 officially ☹️! Likely now thinking it may not get back in there until Dead Dance possibly boosts the album slightly? Or if not then it should be back for MAYHEM Ball.

Disease (the actual best visual robbed!!) But thrilled to see her dominate in so many categories and hopeful of some wins too! And also hoping for a performance live from the MAYHEM Ball!

I wonder how high up it can get still in terms of her most weeks! Shallow is still on 100+ weeks but I definitely feel this is gonna overtake Telephone (52 weeks) Bad Romance (57 weeks) and Just Dance (59 weeks). Poker Face has 84 and Shallow 116! Not an impossible feat to reach those by how constant it is but a while off reaching those just yet.

Also just been looking at Blood Records and this is still the first item to show on their Vault page (it is sold out). If it’s true that the items on their are in most popular order then at least 7K people bought this as Chappels was limited to 7K and hers is beneath this.

I think it could potentially star Jenna! The Tudum performance I wonder if that’s a potential hint of what may be involved within the video.. and if that’s what Tim Burton filmed too. Come through Godga! There’s a lot of potential here! And hopefully big scope for this to be a viral Tik Tok moment.

Hoping there’s a big push for this! Wednesday should be a really good launch pad for the track but here’s hoping there’s streaming playlisting too to go with the music video! I’m also hoping it’s good enough to make the wait for another single (and nothing else from MAYHEM getting a main push - I mean she can always go back and push a MAYHEM track after if this smashes!).

Wish this was MAYHEM at this position but always here for Godga getting a rise with the most impactful debut pop album of the 21st century!

Not top 100 at this stage in the midweeks! But hoping it can sneak in as there’s less new entries this week to usual. Here’s hoping there’s something Gaga related in Wednesday part one what can boost the era though! There’s a near two week gap of shows for her between 9-23 August so maybe somethings dropping then (Zombieboy..)

The sales chart had quite a few entries this week what I presume had vinyl droppings of sorts due to some albums what charted there! The resurgence should soon be coming! I think it re-entering (just) last week though likely shows that even when it’s not top 100 it’s not that far outside though! Hoping it gets to manage a nice lengthy chart run though.

I’d also like this hoping to nab a CD! I’m glad they’re also continuing with these and hope they do the Tangled Up and Out of Control eras too when it’s time for their 20th anniversary (or sooner). It would be nice if this one could also nab a top 40 re-entry! I guess it depends on what the additional material is.
