If Ariana gets there it would actually be my favourite of her UK #1s (bar rain on me). I’m a huge stan of hers but the tracks of hers I take too instantly and really enjoy never get the #1 so by that law im thinking it’s gonna peak at #2 but perhaps do decently overall and get a nice top ten run.
  2. Such an earworm and grower as biased as I am.
  3. This is perhaps my second favourite of her lead singles now after I’ve had a few days of getting used to it. I liked it from the first play but it’s holding up well and the video adds to it even more now too! I hope it sustains into being a long lasting hit I think it’s really strong.

Soundtrack singles by major artists are hit and miss when it comes to major success. I do think Taylor will score a hit but I think it’s more likely this is her campaign to getting an Oscar.

Another #2 for Ari it looks like. Would be her 6th #2 if that’s where it does end up peaking.

Dangerous Woman #7! That’s really good going even just for this stage of the week. Should easily hopefully add another week to its top 40 tally.
  7. Props to Rein Me In for managing to peak all those weeks later and still be #1! I’m rooting for Ariana but now expecting this to perhaps be another #2 peak from her.

I’ve been meaning to get round to the new albums but the reviews from genuine fans never mind this forum have had me feeling a but cautious before hand. I still think he has it in him to get back to his earlier self (for me his output since Scorpion has been very hit and miss) but up until then he was pretty strong for me and he isn’t really an artist I’d typically like. I actually went to his tour in 2017 I was that much of a fan he`d need a huge turnaround for me to do that now.
  9. I’d love Ariana to do it but I don’t know if I’m convinced?! Did yes, and? For example do big physical numbers. I actually think the track itself is great and the video dropping midweek might be a good tactic.
  10. This re-entered the UK album streaming charts at #100 this week! Hope to see it one day re-enter the official charts. Still her longest charting album here in the UK in terms of the top 100.
  11. This is getting more of an instant first reaction to me than what yes, and? did and possibly even positions and thank u, next on first day too (although those two turned out to be growers.. yes, and? Largely just wasn’t for me but the rest of the album was) I think I’m gonna return to this one quite a bit. It actually is sort of different from her as far as her leads go too. It isn’t a million miles from eternal sunshine era yet lyrically this is very Taylor in her tortured poets phase and that’s not a critique at all. Ariana’s leads for me are almost never the best on the album anyways (no tears left to cry was the only case where it was) so I don’t think this is representative of what’s to come I definitely think single 2 may be the more commercial “pop” esque track as we often see from her.
  12. It would’ve fitted onto the eternal sunshine album pretty well (not a critique though because I love that album and it’s naturally a similar esque path she’s on lyrically)! I do like it though and can see it growing. I think it may be a smash for her hopefully the video has a vitality moment to help her get the #1! I think she’s coming into her own now and finding her real signature sound! If you’re wanting more along the My Everything / Dangerous Woman esque Ari this might not be for you but if you’re willing to embrace who she is now you may well like it?!
  13. I really think her discography is gonna get such a big boost when tour kicks off! I actually predicted back in January before we knew about Petal that she’s gonna have multiple albums top 75 when the tour comes to the UK! I really think she will as well! I can see genuinely see My Everything, Dangerous Woman, thank u, next, and eternal sunshine re-entering and Petal being fairly new when the tour drops means it’s probably gonna not totally collapse in the weeks after release (not like any of her releases from My Everything onwards have anyways over here). Very hyped now for the tour and what’s gonna happen. I have a hunch she could potentially debut some songs live and switch around some segments each show surprise songs style but very hyped / nervous / curious at what the core set list is!
  14. not sure what position but happy it made its way back! I still have faith it’s gonna return to the top 100 when one of Vanish Into You / How Bad Do U Want Me has its Breakin Dishes / Cruel Summer moment! 52 weeks top 200 is pretty decent though. I know it’s spent longer on the top 100 than ARTPOP, Joanne and Chromatica but does anyone know their top 200 chart tally? EDIT: So it entered at #186! At least it re-entered but was hoping it was more like #105 🤪
  15. Expected but that’s pretty fast to get to 2X in today’s climate! I can easily see it getting to 3X as well massive sucess! I also wonder if she’ll at some point do a deluxe of the album perhaps in Q4 not that it needs it to maintain success! It’s gonna take something pretty big for this to not be the biggest album of the year now though.
  16. Tangled Up is always mentioned and regarded as their best album too isn’t it by both fans and critics alike?! Tangled Up also spent the most amount of weeks on the top 100 of any of their albums!
  17. I’m definitely here for Ariana to save us! I know yes, and? Didn’t get the #1 debut but those sales it had in week one were great and Stick Season hadn’t been #1 for quite as long as what Rein Me In has! I’m quietly confident she could at least get a single week there! I don’t know what streaming numbers she’ll do but I’m definitely thinking a big day one she’ll get a lot of curiosity streams for sure and she does have stans too!
  18. 2 weeks to 400! It’s also spent 300 weeks In the top 75 now!
  19. Need this to be on other streaming sites too as I’m an Apple man but I like the idea although I think it should be more on if you physically bought the latest album / release preceding the tour.
  20. I’m hoping it makes it into the chart at some point! It just needs a physical release and it would definitely do it (would probably go top 10!) The AI overview still shows it as not being eligible but I asked this about the Katy hits album what dropped last week and that charted despite getting a similar answer 😅
  21. The Fame Monster managing 74 weeks as an EP too! I believe now it’s combined with The Fame but very impressive how well it did on its own accord there! Joanne on 49 weeks too! I wonder what her UK top 200 is like (her top 100 list below for reference) The Fame (397 weeks - still charting) A Star Is Born (64 weeks) album charted under Motion Picture Cast Recording so sadly not under her OCC page but she was instrumental to its success! Born This Way - 60 weeks MAYHEM - 34 weeks Chromatica - 24 weeks The Remix - 23 weeks Joanne - 22 weeks ARTPOP - 16 weeks Cheek to Cheek - 14 weeks Love for Sale / Harlequin - 2 weeks Born This Way The Remix - 1 week / Dawn of Chromatica - 1 week Good to see in the UK that her weeks on albums top 100 have increased in weeks since ARTPOP amongst her solo albums.
  22. So at the moment it isn’t actually chart eligible! (This is from google AI) No, Mayhem Requiem is currently not eligible for the main UK Official Albums Chart. [1] The primary reason for its exclusion is the format of its distribution: Exclusive Platform Streaming: Apple Music Live: Lady Gaga MAYHEM Requiem was released as a platform-exclusive live performance and Spatial Audio live album available only to Apple Musicsubscribers. Official Charts Eligibility Rules: To qualify for the main UK Official Albums Chart, a release must be broadly available across multiple competing retail and streaming platforms (such as Spotify, Amazon Music, and physical retail stores). Platform-exclusive promotional content generally does not count toward the main chart. Lack of Commercial Formats: The project has not been made available as a standalone digital download purchase (like on iTunes) or a physical release (such as CD or vinyl) in the United Kingdom, which are required for standard chart tracking. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] While it cannot enter the overarching UK Official Albums Chart, the project is actively tracking on individual platform metrics, such as the UK Apple Music Top Albums streaming chart. [1] I suspect it might’ve sold enough downloads to have charted at least similarly to how Harlequin did before that got a full release!
  23. My favourite track from debut era Dua!
  24. I was thinking this would manage it soon! I’m expecting this to get some more weeks on the top 100 when Ari is on tour as well! This era still feels like her cultural peak to me in terms of peak fame and her breaking so many chart records in quick succession with the single releases, replacing herself at #1 here, occupying the top 3 in the US and the album itself going to #1 so soon after Sweetener did! Daniel I was wondering if you knew of what Ariana’s most consumed albums per week are here? I imagine thank u, next, Dangerous Woman and My Everything are quite close and they potentially swap around too!
  25. Start Without You is the worst thing Alexandra put out there! Impressive that there was still good will around her in 2010 for her to get a multi week #1 but what happened after that was pretty shocking. Looking back from where I last commented I don’t think I’ve actively set out to hear any song on this list. I mildly enjoyed some at the time though.
