It doesn’t deserve to be her lowest selling solo album but can sort of see why it is at the same time.

Really intrigued now at how these results will go literally all depends on the competition. As some artists have huge advantages on the round but that changes each round!

The Fame now seems like it’s outselling A Star Is Born on a weekly basis then perhaps only just though.

Sine From Above wouldn’t work as a single! Elton being the feature means radio would be reluctant to play it.

I think Alice, Free Woman, Replay and the Haus Labs version of Babylon would work.

Sour Candy also has huge potential to smash as well.

Enigma also sounds huge but as it’s amongst my personal favourites I’d be gutted if it was released and had a low peak by her standards :lol:

Then close the era with Babylon with the remix being pushed. It makes sense for it closing the era too as it closes the album and feels like a real closer of the era tbh as she’s entering a new planet.

Don’t know if there’s any real obvious answers I had to think for most of these.

Really intrigued at the no top 40 album with a top ten single. I said an album I LOVE for that but now think there’s another one from an artist this site loves what might fare better :lol:

I think there’s still potential for this to even better it’s #17 peak it’s the perfect length for streaming sites if they do push it.

But I’d like to see her get another solo smash tbh! But I can see this being quite a big hit tbh if it gets playlist support.

I love Born This Way now. On the very first listen I didn’t feel it at all though took around a few weeks for me to fully get on board with it but it’s held up really well over the years for me now and I fully appreciate and admire it so much now.

It’s definitely one of her signature tracks and I’d say culturally it’s made a huge impact as well. I love the music video to this too. A special song and moment in her career for sure though. The lead single of this era would be a real test as she had one of the biggest debut eras of all time so she needed to smash with this and she did but it also marked a new wave of sound for her too :heart:

Nina is one of the best newcomers in soap for a while!

Love her and Asha. New Aadi is pretty good too.

Corrie is good in general right now though I think the reduced episodes has benefited them the most of any soap to be honest.

Aside from that we have a bit of a dead week tbh. There’s an upcoming live album from Noel Gallagher which may knock her off (I think next week that’s coming). But I think at the minute a second week at #1 looks likely.

However it’s worth noting The Fame got to #1 eventually as did the reissue of The Fame.

Joannes second highest position come after the Super Bowl (week 16 on sale) and Cheek to Cheeks second highest position come following a strictly performance (week 5 on sale) and A Star Is Born managed another week at #1 too in it’s third week on sale.

I really think this album was a case of absolutely perfect timing release wise and just everything about it seems so genius.

Rain On Me being the second single, the album being delayed, her hosting of the benefit concert... She’s been on a real roll tbh with turning around public opinion since the Super Bowl id say but ASIB just took it to a whole new level and now look at her.

First female from the 00s as well to get a #1 album in the new decade too. Queen of topping BOTH charts across three decades whilst still being just 34 years old. An icon :heart:
