Awful eviction result for me tonight. Usually I’d kind of root for the quieter housemate leaving and I’ve wanted it many times but based on who was up tonight I really don’t think tonight was the night for that to actually happen. Izaaz was probably my favourite of all the males in there :cry:

I think Rain on Me had one day at #1 (I wanna say Chromatica release day) But it was mainly #2 on Spotify I think! I want to say the day it was at #1 it was like (4-5 sales) it was a tiny lead but a win nonetheless! But I think Disease is looking very promising just going off Apple!

10th #1 album :wub: :wub: :wub: Genuinely so impressive how since 2018 she’s doubled her UK #1 albums tally. From Golden she’s really racked them up in quite a quick succession too!

She’s only actually had one #1 debut on the UK singles chart. That being Rain on Me :lol:

Hopefully the music video is coming during release week too as that could really help with Gaga being quite the visionary.

Gahhh #1 would be an absolute dream and it’s been released at a time where it’s not like “impossible” let’s say if things go right. I’ve cautiously went for top 5 though but very intrigued at streaming numbers. My TL is full of people streaming already but that may well be because I’m a stan and follow many other stans :lol:

I’m quite sold on first listen! But I’m feeling so many thoughts/ emotions at once. When I seen the lyrics in my head I was working out what the melody would sound like and yeah it threw me as it’s quite unexpected but this really sounds like the most pure Gaga lead since at least Applause?! Love her vocals as well (and the ahh ahh) throughout really kinda add to the overall vibe of the song. I absolutely need the video now as I’m trying to picture the visuals to this but I think this is really very much like an older sister to Fame Monster / Born This Way era Gaga.

What did Stupid Love do sales wise for the #5 debut? I’d say I’m gonna look at Stupid Love as the one to perhaps more closely compare it to with it being her most recent lead.

Oh god!! This is gonna be one of those nail biters but let’s see! It would be so high camp of her to block herself :lol: but I’m also sort of strangely content that she now has a UK #2 :wub:

I’m honestly the same! It’s definitely lodged in my head. I just wish I hadn’t seen that Ting Tings tweet :lol: :lol: because I do see that comparison and they’re amongst my worst acts of all time but this is like an example of when fun music can really work!

Really hoping this can somehow avoid ACR! It may be tight. If it does I think we could actually get the #1 next week but then with her lead coming I’m hoping we can get a strong debut for that!

Jades definitely the solo star of the group then! She’s bringing personality across to the music, videos, using her voice in different ways. So excited for her! I actually like this a lot on first listen :wub: I think this should easily become the biggest “second main single” from the girls so far.

I think it’s more that lyrically it’s the most fitting perhaps. It is definitely in their top tier though and deserved more at the time. Perhaps it might end up getting a new peak but for a reason nobody wished :cry: I’ve actually realised through Liams passing that 1D were actually pretty strong on the ballads front my favourite tracks from them all seem to be all the slower numbers they did.

Story of My Life in particular kind of feels very surreal to hear back :cry:

No idea on this eviction. Lilys who I most want to stay and Martha feels a wasted vote on vote to evict!! Daze to me I don’t really feel you’d watch it and think she needs to leave so I’m guessing I may have to evict Ali but will hold off until Friday as the highlights shows the next two nights could be the decider. Re Marcello I really think as soon as he’s up he could go regardless of who else is up but I don’t quite know if he’ll ever pick up quite enough nominations especially against someone like say Lily.

Gahhhh!! Hope that’s a sign that it is infact coming! I do hope that if it’s not the 18th then it’s the 25th so we get a Friday release (I mean I don’t fully trust her team yet not to do a hashed midweek release what’s cursed us on many occasions in the past). If it is Friday then maybe an announcement on Tuesday? Once it’s all confirmed I’m gonna begin to feel so many emotions at once at a real Gaga lead that’s tied to her actual studio album :yahoo: :cheer: :w00t:

Ryan actually leaving that eviction makes me think this series we may have the power! Obviously his VT went down badly but I didn’t think that he’d actually go as socials and fan forums often paint a different picture. The first boot was actually quite telling of how the VTs may actually be quite important though! But what a thing to say for the demographic who watch this show. Had it been something like I’m A Celeb I don’t quite think it would’ve been as frowned upon but talk about not knowing the main audience of the show you’re going into :lol: :lol: It would’ve been interesting to see the subject actually be educated but I’m sure he’ll soon know if he doesn’t already what may seem like a flippant comment can do.

I have a feeling we could make history this series and potentially get Marcello as second evictee if he’s up (which would be a first for Civilian BBUK having two males leave on the first two public votes) As for Lily i do love her and feel she may actually be pretty popular. She may attract evict votes but I definitely feel there’s others who may pick up more and if she was ever up against just one other person it could essentially be vote to save? Interested in how nominations actually go and how many face the first eviction as a result of nominations.

Yesss at the new peak! I was fully expecting another week at #4 so I’m thrilled that she’s once again entered the top 3! Her second number 3 hit should this remain its peak :wub:

A shame but expected. A plus is that it has at least outpeaked Tears. Wonder what the Apple playlist push does for this! I’d like to see her do well but also want the material to be stronger so I can’t say I’m too surprised songs like this aren’t taking off.

Oh! I’m seeing Joker Folie à Deux tonight so will do my ranking over the weekend. Interesting thread though! Is this ranking purely based on our opinion of Gaga’s performance and not necessarily the overall movie?
