Joker: Folie à Deux
I’ve still not actually seen the first one as it’s not normally a type of movie I’d watch without Gaga being involved! Maybe I’ll watch it at some point (I put off watching the first one incase I didn’t like it) so I’m kinda just going into the whole movie experience blind. Will share my thoughts though. I think for me though sometimes when films get rave reviews I don’t necessarily tend to love them but some films what have been panned I’ve actually enjoyed

Joker: Folie à Deux
I’ve booked and I’m going to see this tomorrow!! I’d have went sooner but my local cinema didn’t show it the one day I had off work and the other screenings have been when I’ve been at work but snagged tickets for tomorrow evening. I’ll be honest and say I’m purely going for Gaga but I’m excited to see her in a new role and to hear the Joker soundtrack in the movie itself.

Lady Gaga - UK Chart Runs & Sales
Just had a look on the official charts at Gaga’s top 10 weeks in the UK as Die With A Smile is racking up the weeks. These are her top ten weeks on the charts so far Just Dance - 10 Poker Face - 13 Paparazzi - 8 Bad Romance - 11 Telephone - 5 Alejandro - 4 Born This Way - 7 Judas - 3 The Edge of Glory - 4 Applause - 5 Do What U Want - 2 Shallow - 8 Stupid Love - 1 Rain on Me - 9 Die With A Smile - 7 (so far) So Die With A Smile should match Paparazzi and Shallow this week with ease! Let’s see how LG7s lead impacts this too as it may prevent ACR from happening  Pretty impressed that she’s managed more than one week top 10 with every single top 10 so far bad Stupid Love!

Die With A Smile (with Bruno Mars) ● 1st single
I wonder if Gaga’s own LG7 lead will prevent this from going top 3 as well when that drops! #4 is a pretty good peak though if that is its peak. 7 weeks so far in the top 10 as well! If it stays top 10 this week which seems certain it’ll match what Shallow did in terms of weeks inside the UK top 10.

Big Brother UK • Series 21 • Who will be evicted first?
Ryan would be who’d I’d most want to to go as I think he’ll offer the least (and potentially stay the longest if he survives this eviction as he doesn’t seem like someone who’d get many nominations). Hard call for who I think will go. Social media often paints a very different picture and I think causal viewers would like Ryan and opt for Nathan perhaps or maybe even Rosie? It almost feels too soon for an eviction but I’m relieved Lily isn’t first boot

Rihanna - Albums Survivor 2024
Evening all!! After a few months, we have a new winner of the albums survivor over on the Rihanna forum! Full results as follows! 8th Place: Round 1: Music of The Sun (15/21 votes) 7th Place: Round 2: A Girl Like Me (12/19 votes) 6th Place: Round 3: Unapologetic (8/17 votes) 5th Place: Round 4 Talk that Talk (7/15 votes) 4th Place: Round 5: ANTI (8/17 votes) 3rd Place: Round 6: Rated R (11/20 votes) Final! 2nd Place: Loud (10/22 votes) Winner!! - Good Girl Gone Bad (12/22 votes) So Good Girl Gone Bad is your winner!! Thanks to all who voted. Good Girl Gone Bad has had quite the resurgence lately and since the Super Bowl has pretty much consistently appeared within the UK top 100 on a weekly basis and is her HITS album. Probably not my favourite as a whole listen but can see why it’s stood the test of time and still charts today. How do we feel about this?! Oh and any other ideas on rates / survivors we can do over on Rihanna forum to get some more traction whilst we’re still in music drought. Open to any ideas :)

Perrie - You Go Your Way • 3rd Single
After repeated listens the song itself still isn’t doing an awful lot for me. It’s got a bit more to it than what Tears did but I think Forget About Us is definitely the strongest of the three tracks we’ve heard from her so far. I think what we really need for her next single is a ballad! Even if it’s a collaborative ballad that’s what I want from her and I think that would probably fare better chart wise too.

Perrie - You Go Your Way • 3rd Single
I mean I think if she were to release the album with pre orders made available before hand it should make low top 10 or at lowest top 20. But it would probably drop out the top 75 the following week unless she had another hit or went down the collabs route and they got added to a streaming deluxe.

Streaming Services Chart Discussion
I wonder how Gaga’s lead single from LG7 is going to fare when that drops this month. Hoping that with ACR looming for some tracks towards the top it can mean she’ll bag a strong debut but it all depends on how the song connects outside of the LM Stanbase and perhaps more importantly promotion from streaming but I’m hoping the latter is strong as Die with A Smile is likely to become one of her all time biggest singles and her streaming profile is rising amongst her catalogue.

Perrie - You Go Your Way • 3rd Single
The more she performs like this too the less likely it is we’re gonna get an actual album  An EP might end up happening perhaps but it’s sad that this has been the case for her because the voice is there, personality is there but something just isn’t quite hitting the mark and it seems to be the common opinion from each three releases. I do think all three of the tracks so far sound a bit dated but they could also be by anybody they don’t distinctively feel like Perrie unless I knew it was her it could honestly be a track by anybody. I’d personally love to see her in a west end role if the album doesn’t materialise (I think this singles performance is likely a big decider on things going forward). We’ll see what happens! I could potentially see Perrie getting some charting hits as a featured act perhaps (ala Ella Henderson) but there’s something about solo Perrie what hasn’t excited me yet.

Joker: Folie à Deux
It feels like both this and House of Gucci were a case of Gaga praise but film critique. I have annual leave on Monday so hoping to see it then! This kind of genre isn’t my bag at all but anything for Gaga! Also why use many Gaga scenes in the trailer they knew would go viral especially with Little Monsters and just not use them in the film. It kinda looked like both her and Joaquin had mixed feelings re the final edit of the film. Still excited to see her in a new role though!

Gaga at the 2025 Grammys
I’m *quietly confident* that Die with A Smile will get the Pop / Duo award which would take her tally to 14! Can possibly see nods in record / song too and Chromatica Ball for Music film although I think the Music Film award will go to Taylor.

Harlequin ● 6.5th album
I mean even as a Stan and its specific genre I can’t say it’s great! But what I will say is Gaga stans are rather dedicated and I think that the actual physical copies will be higher than that. Lets see what it does week commencing 11th October! Sales are quite close from like #41 - #100 so I do think that if it had a planned release and the orders of the physicals and vinyls counted this week we’d have comfortably been top 40 but yeah. Let’s keep chill and focused for LG7!

Die With A Smile (with Bruno Mars) ● 1st single
At least we didn’t fall into a decline. Hopefully we can still get a top 3 peak!
-
Perrie - You Go Your Way • 3rd Single
Enjoyed the video but it’s another case of the song itself doing absolutely nothing for me :( She’s capable of so much better but we’re just yet to see it for now.

Harlequin ● 6.5th album
HMV pre order now available! Not too worried re this weeks chart position now as I’m classing Oct 11 as the official release ^_^
-
eternal sunshine • 7th album
Are we still getting a new single does anyone know or will the video mentioned earlier in the discussion be the live versions? Happy to see her give us a little something extra for this era regardless though. I like it when she does the live additions to tracks -_-
-
Disease ● 2nd single
Gahhhhh!! 25th is my prediction but we made it!!! Pop Ga is upon us.
-
Harlequin ● 6.5th album
Hope it can debut top 40! Not too sure how front loaded it could be but hopefully the film can help it out as it’s a companion album. #25 without physicals though makes me think we could well have been top 10 with them! Help our girl out and download on iTunes if you can

Harlequin ● 6.5th album
Would be nice if it was to get one on other sites (I was wondering if it was because it was essentially a surprise drop). I do think though that LG7 will have significant bundles and strong promotion across streaming. Her team seem to be doing a good job of increasing her profile on the streams front and her profiles rising and I’d say she’s in a great place too on all fronts from her own personal life to the general publics view. This album was more a gift than anything else so it’s not gonna be one I think too much about re chart success what it achieves is kinda a bonus. I guess I’m lucky to stan someone who has the power and versatility to just randomly release something like this. I was thinking off the top of my head re the 21st century artists and honestly none come to mind of someone who could release something as left field as this and pull it off.

Harlequin ● 6.5th album
This is #3 on UK Apple Musics streaming chart (behind Nines and Sabrina). However I use Apple and often find the albums chart on there can differ from the actual chart. Many albums what chart week to week rarely show on Apple and then other albums don’t show officially what show on Apple. However glad to see it as high as that on a streaming chart anyways and still #2 on iTunes which may mean little but it’s something I guess! I still think the week where physicals ship will be it’s peak week here though (unless they ship during the week). Wonder if this will only be available on her store has it popped up yet on HMV or Amazon for pre order?

Strictly Come Dancing • Series 22
I don’t think they have full stop but for some reason this year there’s fewer female contestants! I think we may see another one for sure! Also the first spoiler is out and it’s kinda a shock first boot!

Chart Forum Quiz Week 5: The Results
Just catching up here! Forgot to add Beyonces age onto Gaga and Kylies there eeek!

Die With A Smile (with Bruno Mars) ● 1st single
It begins from this week I think as it’s now onto its 7th week! The first 6 weeks don’t mean anything to ACR (I think this is the case right?!)
-
Die With A Smile (with Bruno Mars) ● 1st single
400K+ on UK Spotify yesterday (which I think is a new peak in daily streams but was #5) But #3 on Apple UK now! So hopefully it’s coming to avoid ACR beginning this week!
