    A song what was ahead of its time and still something what could be a hit now tbh if a younger artists released it.

     

    I love it! I just wish I was like my age now when this was released because I can imagine the shock and surprise at this being Madonna. It’s a song what shows her vocals off too. Definitely amongst her best singles and videos.

    I’m thinking tonight’s cancelled extended tomorrow probably with it still finishing on the original date.

     

    I don’t think we’re gonna get two seasons a year next year though if the summer one goes ahead it’ll likely just stay a summer show but I could see it taking 2021 off screens tbh. I can see them dedicating the next episode to Caroline.

    8.4m is amazing.

     

    I guess another reason it could be successful is we don’t get “fix” claims because there’s no public vote and it’s just different too like it’s fun to watch, doesn’t take itself seriously and there’s genuine mystery too like even though I knew around half of them there was some contestants on this show I’d have never guessed (like Teddy and Alan for instance :lol: ).

     

     

    I was just saying in The Masked Singer thread that I think this was such a good show for Nicola to do. It’s showcased her voice to the GP in a way what no other show could do and I’d be surprised if we didn’t get another album from her this year. She’s gonna get some deals after this for sure whether it’s theatre or a new solo album being announced.

     

    I’m thrilled that she won though. Most consistent performer for sure!

    Definitely the right winner! I thought Jason was gonna win for a sec, he was good and good on him for getting so far but it had to be Nicola :wub:

     

    Isn't it mad that Nicola off Girls Aloud and Jason Manford beat Katherine Jenkins in a singing competition? :lol:

     

    It’s so mad that Jason Manford also beat International artists like Kelis and Cee Lo as well!

     

    It’s even funnier that on the current US series Lil Wayne was the first to get unmasked. Such an unpredictable show results wise when there isn’t a public vote. This is so gonna open doors for Nicola though I wouldn’t be surprised at her releasing another solo album off the back of this but at the least she’s gonna get theatre gigs! A very worthy winner she’s been the most consistent overall so she was the right choice.

    Some of these are terrible!

     

    Normani on that photo! Whenever I watch 5H videos though where they aren’t singing and they’re just like talking or doing interviews or promo they just don’t seem like they don’t like each other. It’s so different to LM who just have this bond what you can see is real. 5H just didn’t have that in my opinion. They were all able to sing though but I think CC was the only one who was interesting enough to like stand out and I was always just drawn to her.

    That’s amazing. I expected a top 3 debut but not 1m wow amazing and I can’t recall many other females doing that.

     

    I expected a Justin takeover tbh not so much challenging for number one but expected at least half his album to be comfortably top in the top 25.

    Apparently this has been pushed back just what people are saying on twitter but bc Gaga herself hasn’t announced this I’m a bit like

    Hmmm.

     

     

    But tbh Billie is gonna be the next #1 so I’d be here for her delaying the release slightly. But I’m now in the mindset of I don’t want this to be the lead single because it’s just not gonna be a real experience for listening to it officially. I’m here for it being on the album I just want the lead to be something unleaked and what we can all enjoy at the same time.

    Jess’s personality is so funny though. Obv I’ve met Rebecca from this season personally so I can’t really say much on her as I’m biased and what I know of her wasn’t really seen on the show which probably sounds like a cop out tbh but she was either not shown or given the villain edit what often happens to non day one islanders like on past seasons I’ve gotten quite loyal to the OGs and when people come in and are like I like _______ I’m like noooooo (tbh I did it with Molly this series B-) :lol:

     

    in real life I think I’d get on with Jess quite well and it seemed like she was one of the girls who liked Rebecca the most weirdly (probably bc she wasnt a threat to her). Jess has been funny though like that skittle or smartie getting stuck in her eyelashes :lol: :lol:

     

    I feel like this experience has probably done both Jess and Eve the world of good tbh. I think if they’d both stayed in that first re coupling it would’ve been super confusing. It’s a shame we never really got to see Eve that much though but at least now they sort of have their own identities kind of thing.

     

    Siannise to win though would be a result! And the second series in a row the winning girl being the least popular girl in the first week would be quite something. That’s another thing you get with LI like the favourites change constantly and everyone gets at least one bad edit too :lol: But you get islanders who turn from zero to hero like Siannise and Amber then other people who go the opposite way like Michael last series and to an extent “loyal” Georgia too.

    Is it possible we could see Bianca back next week? Not on the boat but maybe in a few short scenes what could’ve been filmed when she was in the UK last year?

    Shaughna left at the right time. And she can rightfully get some attention and press all to herself before the finalists come out. (Like nobody is gonna be interested in Jamie and Natalia who are going next lol) and she left on a high too. I’m sort of gutted because I loved her but Demi and Luke just fit better.

     

    I’m torn on who the 4th couple in the final could be. I actually think Mike could sneak there because he’s an OG and a big character. And then maybe Jess and Ched too. I’d be shocked at it being Callum and Molly tbh bc now Shaughna has left there’s no awkwardness or a reason to keep them in.

     

    Siannise and Luke T for the win I’m thinking. I genuinely think Paige and Finn could go the distance outside the show though.

    I think a break could do it good.

     

    I don’t think axed forever. I could definitely see it coming back for charity specials or celeb versions but years down the line. I think it’s time for something fresh though. It just went as far as it could.

    I’m sort of with you Klaus. Like it wasn’t badly acted or anything but I didn’t really care for any character really and it felt like The Stranger herself wasn’t in it enough either. But there was just way too many characters in it and I wasn’t really sure who I was rooting for. Like are we supposed to like and root for the stranger or are we supposed to be against her?

     

    It’s one of those shows where I can see the appeal and I enjoyed it but not sure I’d like re watch it again in a hurry. I think I’d have liked it more with a smaller cast and without the alpaca / woods story and had it just revolved around the more adult characters.

    Maybe it’s the first solo female track to do it released after the new chart rules come into place?

     

    Like Adele and Idina especially probably crossed the 1m In pure sales or near enough. That seems more likely looking at the other tracks that have done it they were all released pre streaming era. So they likely have sold a good % of their total in pure sales. Idk maybe that’s what they mean. It’s still a great achievement though.

    Wow! What a record.

     

    I’d actually be so interested to see a whole top 40 list or so of the biggest selling tracks to peak outside the top ten in the UK and another one too for outside top 40 as I’m sure Love Me Harder would be amongst the biggest tracks for that.

     

    Into You was robbed peak wise but it didn’t go top ten in the US either did it or Aus :(. Does anyone remember if it was a sales top ten and streaming dragged it down? Those sales show how popular it is though.
