Miley Cyrus - Something Beautiful
Midweek #1 in UK! Hopefully it holds up but haven’t seen the sales as of yet! If it does it would be her third #1 album here 😀. I think I’ll now get a physical this week to try and help out but her team hopefully will see this and add some more signed copies to the UK store.

Mayhem ● 7th album
Just based from the TUDUM performance, It’s heavily hinted it’s being used in Wednesday too 😁

Wild wild thoughts inc.
Some sad news was announced yesterday. Rihanna’s father has passed away. Hoping that Rihanna and her family are doing well under the circumstances and sending thoughts to her.

Mayhem ● 7th album
I now think Zombieboy is getting the push!

Miley Cyrus - Something Beautiful
I keep going back to Golden Burning Sun and Walk of Fame. Two definite career highlights. I need to really delve into it as a whole album again and I’m very intrigued at seeing it as a visual piece. She really is SO versatile though. One of the most interesting females of the 21st century for real. What are we anticipating for this chart wise is there anything else major out this week UK wise? The signed edition on her store is STILL sold out so I’m hoping that’s at least good sign. 😆

TUDUM - Gaga performs for the Netflix event
Loved that performance!! Very coded with Born This Way in ways. Zombieboy to me always felt like it could go viral so if that is the next single I think it’s a smart move and if it’s used in Wednesday even better. But Wednesday is still two months away right so in the mean time I wonder what’s happening or are they pushing it early so the GP are aware of the track before the series drops.

TUDUM - Gaga performs for the Netflix event
I’m not sure what to expect here! Don’t think we’re gonna get a new song tonight though is my guess. Netflix had something MAYHEM related in their actual bio didn’t they so I do think that there’s more to come from that era and the Wednesday track is surely Zombieboy right. As for what she’s performing tonight - absolutely no idea! She loves to surprise though doesn’t she 😆. What sort of event is Tudum though?! Like is it an event where we can expect a Gaga performance like Abracadabra for example or is it more along the lines of “Lady” and we can expect a stripped back performance of something like Vanish Into You or Die With A Smile.

Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded // 3rd album re-release
18 years ago today since the original version of the album was released to the world!! What a time it was! STILL charting consistently in the UK too currently at #67 and 276 weeks on the chart! Can easily see it getting to 300 weeks by the end of the calendar year.

Mayhem ● 7th album
Sales wise the drop was less harsh this week! Hoping that it sticks around this part of the chart until we get something to boost it!

Taylor's UK Certifications (updated version)
Her best album did that!

Rihanna - US Number One Singles Survivor 2025 - Round 4
Round 4 is now open and again vote for your two least favourites! 8 songs now remain! Last round we lost Take A Bow a song what also topped charts in UK but is definitely one that she’s done a lot better since. However if being the lead of the re-release of the huge Good Girl Gone Bad era meant that she was riding her imperial phase era! We also lose Love The Way You Lie a huge song back in 2010 and one what very narrowly on a few occasions missed the UK #1 despite being the year end #1! Results so far 13th - Work 5/12 Votes - Round 1 13th - The Monster 5/12 Votes - Round 1 12th - S&M Remix 9/11 Votes - Round 2 11th - Live Your Life 6/11 Votes - Round 2 10th - Take A Bow - 8/14 Votes - Round 3 9th - Love The Way You Lie - 6/14 Votes - Round 3

Miley Cyrus - Something Beautiful
This is actually really strong as a collective piece! She pretty much always delivers for me but I think this will be one of those albums where different things come together the more I listen. The production is really interesting and I love that she’s delivered with those song lengths, in the world of streaming where songs feel so short she’s given us full tracks what have quite a bit to them! Her voice as well sounds really strong on this too. The instant standouts to me were Golden Burning Sun but Walk of Fame was the wow moment! I don’t know where I’d rank it yet among her other albums but she’s definitely delivered again. I think this actually feels more like the natural flow up to Plastic Hearts in a sense!

TAYLOR OWNS HER MUSIC!!
What a moment for her! I definitely hope to still hear the re-recorded debut album and Taylor’s version of reputation when that is re-recorded in full.
-
Lorde - Man Of The Year
I like it yet feel it’s very short at the same time. It almost ends where it feels like a real climax is coming but I’m liking the production on this era from what’s been heard so far.

Miley Cyrus - Something Beautiful
I’ve not seen too much hype for this on socials but excited to give it a listen. I’ve always felt Miley is underrated in the album stakes come to think of it - her projects from Bangerz onwards especially have all been really varied but all strong in their own ways. I wonder how much the accompanying visual element plays into the music too.
-
Lady Gaga - Chromatica ● 6th album
I listened this morning! It’s actually a great album. I hadn’t heard it as a whole piece for a while but was re-reminded of how strong it was! I wish the era went differently and we had different singles given pushes etc but the material was there and it was a great taster to get her back into popstar mode for what would become MAYHEM.

Katy Perry Thinks She's The Victim
Katy being female is kinda a relevant point in a way when it comes to her treatment and career because male artists do get away with worse things and have it not impact them at all. I mean Chris Browns probably gonna still score hits and huge tours once his latest legal drama is solved. Having said that though there is something about Katy’s actual material itself just being completely awful these days. There’s no dressing up just how much her actual material itself has drastically deteriorated (and to me no matter how extravagant her sets and staging can be she’s pretty much never delivered on the live vocals). I’m sure Katy will always see success from a touring perspective though and I think if she goes in a different direction next era possibly more acoustic or just stripped back in general maybe critics could be kinder.

Friend of Mine (Soundtrack Single) - Out Friday 16th May
For me Phresh Out The Runway is my personal least favourite thing she’s ever done! Horrible opener to what’s actually one of her better albums. This is more beige than it is bad per se. It’s definitely just been cobbled together though.

Friend of Mine (Soundtrack Single) - Out Friday 16th May
With having a young nephew I might get the chance to hear it again during the film itself 😆!

Friend of Mine (Soundtrack Single) - Out Friday 16th May
Even as a Rihanna stan, I don’t think I can really defend this haven’t brought myself to listen again since release day 😅.

Rihanna - 2025 US Number One Singles Survivor Round 3
Thanks for Voting! Multiple choice so you can choose another or I’ll edit for your second choice 😌

Mayhem ● 7th album
I have hopes a top 40 return will happen once we get a new single confirmed or even just a music video! I can’t see this being IT for the era! Singapores final show is on the 24th and we have a performance at an event after that don’t we! I mean she’s going hard with being active this era so I do think there’ll be something else to get a push it cant end with Abracadabra right?! 10 weeks top 40 is still impressive for 2025 though here’s hoping it just kinda “stagnates” for the time being and doesn’t continue dropping fast.

Bumping this! Keep voting. Looking to close after the bank holiday 😁

Your Favourite PRODUCED Album
Another one here echoing Ray of Light! I remember genuinely blown away by that album when I heard it for the first time. Madonna has quite a few albums here i'd say Confessions on A Dancefloor too although streaming editions aren't quite as iconic as the nonstop edition of the original CD. Madonna's production really is so strong though the Music album too also had great production so ahead of its time on that front. More recently, Billies HIT ME HARD AND SOFT is one where I love the production. Gaga's Born This Way too is my favourite of hers production wise so i'll note that here too.
