cowboy like me is one for me! It’s so underrated on this forum i remember it leaving really early in the evermore survivor but I think it’s top tier Taylor lyrically.

Re-enters the top 100 this week at #79. Hopefully this does now get the streams ahead of Finally Enough Love as I imagine Celebration is actually what people are steaming anyways rather than the remixes. I think if the label were to give this the streams it’ll set up a new healthy chart run and rack those weeks up in no time.

Hope the album sticks around for a while after the BRITS impact! I think a lot of people likely give it some curiosity streams for the first time following her wins. Hoping it has a new lease of life now and can stick around for a while. Upon looking at sales she was actually so close to repeaking. Had the shipping been lower on the special edition on her store or there was a bigger social push to get people to buy the album she could’ve so been #2 (Liam was way ahead at #1). Still top 5 again is great.

Am I right in that Ariana tends to do a lot better on Spotify as well compared to Apple? Really hope we can’t be friends can be a big hit. A lot of this album is amongst my favourites on first listen since Sweetener era Ariana.

I think she could do the next Bond theme whenever that materialises :lol: I do think she perhaps missed a trick not releasing something just before / just after the BRITS. I wonder if we might get some kind of “deluxe / special edition”re-release of the 21st Century Blues album at some point this year to try and get the album itself to a #1 peak. Shes in a strong position now though provided she doesn’t take too long to capitalise on the current hype that’s surrounding her. I think a new album this year may be pushing it slightly but then again she’s a prolific writer and may well have the material.

I gave this a listen on the way to work and I already need to listen again. On first listen pretty much the whole thing was strong. Often with Ariana she can have some pretty funky tracklisting orders but with this album it was pretty seamless and it flowed pretty well throughout. bye, don’t wanna break up again, we can’t be friends and imperfect for you stood out the most for me on first listen. I’ll definitely be replaying this over the weekend though and seeing what else stands out and how my ranking fares. yes, and? Is kinda the odd one out on the album in the sense that it’s the most different sounding maybe that’s why it was the lead? But it isn’t representative of the album now I’ve heard the whole thing. There was some review id seen last week where someone who’d heard the album early said it was like the best parts of the Sweetener and thank u, next eras and I kind of see that from hearing it. For me (this may just down to taste) but I think it’s stronger than positions a whole album just off first listen (although that did grow). So far impressed though.

On first listen this is my potentially my favourite thing she’s done since the Sweetener era! Gorgeous and definitely a strong single choice (almost wish this was the lead) but this is definitely the side of Ariana that I love.

With ZeZe I think it’s more this is a save series rather than evict and (this is just me presuming) but I think she has one of the lowest followings. Ekin I think will get more support on this to what she did Dancing On Ice at least I think Love island demographic are more likely to watch this and I think she could go far here. Oops at me thinking Jordan was a Tory though. He strongly gave that vibe and the accent too :lol: Henry obviously said himself he was though :lol: But I’ve just realised again that the civilian series was actually vote to evict so it’s more people didn’t vote enough to get rid of them rather. This series being save it may potentially change some things. Gary and ZeZe do scream early boots though. I do like Lauren as I watch that Housewoves franchise and she can definitely be fiery and provide drama so hopefully we get to see that. I do think she may potentially be booted fairly early as well. It’s a shame the series isn’t an extra week! I feel like this could wrap up as it’s getting interesting. It is just nice it’s back though. Feels like an eternity now since the Roxanne saga :lol:

Hoping this is more my bag than what yes, and? Was which still hasn’t really hit me yet. I know when Ari can bring it she really does bring it though and she’s amongst my favourites ever. Hyped for her saying this amongst her favourites (yet at the same time she’s openly called many of my personal favourites by her as being some of her least favourite and some of her favourites are quite questionable given what she’s capable of). This is what I’m most hyped to hear though from the album.

Gary to be first boot please. It’s hard to call because obviously in the past the Tory vote went well for Henry last series and Jordan ended up winning. I can definitely see Gary as one of the first to go but wouldn’t be surprised if ZeZe was the first evictee if she was to face the public vote. I can potentially see David getting some nominations.

My HMV order of the 3CD version of this arrived today! I won’t listen until tomorrow though. Another day won’t hurt but I did have a look through the booklet and there’s some gorgeous images in there and some notes re the era that I’ll have to read through after work.

Just from interest do we know females are ahead? I can think of P!nk as I know she’s huge here and maybes Kylie Minogue? Brilliant update though! Really hope Aus fans are rewarded next time she does some non Vegas shows.

I’ve actually been meaning to get the album so I’m gonna get that BRITs special edition. The shipping fee does seem a little more than I’d expect but after what she’s went through I’d like to support. I do think the album could get quite a big boost this week and it should extend its chart life nicely. I said on the BRITs thread there’s a lot of goodwill re Raye and I think she’s in a great position now for when she does drop new music. Hopefully she can strike while the irons hot and get album 2 out fairly quickly.

It’s a shame it’s a Saturday show now and not midweek like it’s been in the past because I imagine some of the target audience may well have been out while it aired. It could possibly do good on catch up? But I do imagine they may well be low but possibly enough to still win for its time slot? I always watch (more from habit just as a music geek) but I always record it and watch it around 15-20 minutes later so I can skip the adverts. Without fail I end up watching it in real time towards the end as well :lol:

Raye breaking records tonight. Could we see quite a big impact re her album on the albums this week? I think it could get a lot of curiosity listens of the back of this and perhaps a sales boost too even a small sales boost would be enough though? I do think she’s in a great position at the moment though regarding good will around her. I think if she follows up this album fairly soon (say early next year or even late this year with the first single) she could be in for quite a big sophomore album.

I’d agree here. From the females who debuted across my generation she’s easily sustained longevity across the longest span (I’d say her and Beyoncé have remained consistently relevant) yet P!nk is always downplayed and never mentioned amongst the main females in the game when she’s more than worthy of receiving accolades like that BRIT.

Second week position of #37. I really do like this album! Shes very consistent with me though not a bad album yet. Sales only wise the album was at #6 which isn’t too bad. Definitely looks like there’s just not much of a streaming market for Paloma these days though which we already knew really. I actually think the album itself is pretty commercial and if certain tracks had a push they *could* do something but still when albums have fallen outside top 100 in week 2 a second week top 40 is a bit of a result.

Thank you for this! Well I can definitely see this having more physicals than positions just due to the pre order length and different variants. I feel like she could possibly actually get her biggest physicals week yet. We’ll soon find out next week when the albums released.

Oh I will be insufferable if this Weeknd collaboration turned out to be true. My two favourite current artists of today. I do think it could work depending on the songs production style but they’re both vocalists and I can imagine it potentially being fantastic. We shall see though. I’d love for this to be true so much. I wonder whose project this is for though this may be well for Abel’s next album (which would still be amazing and would keep her name out there in time for joker and get those streams). I still have a slight hunch that whilst LG7 is happening it’s not necessarily in the stages of us hearing anything imminently.

I wonder if she can challenge for her best pure sales opening yet with this? Like with the different formats and bundles I think it could be possible. Obviously thank u, nexts combined opening could be hard to beat but in terms of just pure sales I think she could do it? Does anyone have a Ariana albums sales for week one list? (With the pure sales). I can definitely see it happening just with the variants and artworks.

At #24 in the Monday midweek this weeks. Slightly ahead of IDLES which beat her to the #1. Hopefully it can at least manage a few more weeks top 75 and even manage to hold on to get a second week top 40. The second week drop isn’t quite as drastic as what some other females had in their week 2 (tbf not just females but in general towards acts who are more pure sales orientated to streams) Still as high as #3 on iTunes although that doesn’t amount to much. Wonder what promo we can get before the tour? I think TV wise it’s only really Saturday Night Takeaway what might be impactful enough.

JLO is probably more known worldwide than what Kylie is (and I say that as a huge Kylie fan but JLOs definitely more known globally). I’ve managed to watch the visual album and yeah it’s an experience. You can see there’s been a lot thrown at it and the budget appears high but it can be a confusing watch. The music itself is decent enough maybe a bit JLO by numbers but it was definitely stronger than AKA. You can see it’s a project she’s feeling inspired by. A shame it didn’t peak higher I’d have expected the visual album element to have perhaps helped push it in week one but even in her peak I don’t think she was ever a huge albums act.

Newcastle my city is nearly always overlooked too but at least there’s not just London this time around. I wonder if I could nab tickets nearer time or if I’d have to bag them pretty fast? I have so many things to pay off but he’s one I’ve wanted to see for years now.
